Part: 1

1
00:00:10.480 --> 00:01:07.575
Yeah. Yeah. The day was today. Or we'll be next I see no way. Oh, okay. Who plays blackjack? Not well. But I don't think anyone does. I think that's the point. I remember you saying, I want to stay open because everybody wins. Yeah. Alright. 06:00, class. Get run to stand and say pledge of allegiance, please. Someone's got their arm on, Sean. Not just me. Don't mind. I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States Of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, liberty, and justice for all. Alright. Let the minutes reflect.

2
00:01:08.435 --> 00:01:47.885
Six of the seven council members are present. Citizens form, first item of business is, citizens form. If there's any individuals from the community that would like to address the council, now would be the time to do so. I believe k. Pat, do you raise your hand first? Was anybody else here? Jason would like to do it as well, but You wanna have all Alright. Jason. I'd like to address the council. I'm I'm looking to, help avoid Scott once he vacates his seat in the council. Perfect. And also, I'd like to put my name in for the ballot for his position.

3
00:01:48.425 --> 00:02:27.120
Perfect. Yep. So the way this will work, Jason, is we'll, tonight at the end of the meeting, we'll declare a vacancy. Yep. And I need to post it for so many days. Alright. So then in our, June meeting, we'll open it up for, Yes. Appointments. Yeah. So, yeah, we'll make a nomination and a vote at the June meeting. Alright. And then I also looked up a lot to, my father is on counsel, and it is legal in the state of Minnesota for me to run for counsel and to be on the counsel. Correct. Yep. As long as you're not on the same the rules and regulations. We we look to, after our last conversation,

4
00:02:27.180 --> 00:03:07.005
I asked Ashley. I said just, to prepare ourselves, just ask the question. As long as you guys aren't in the same household, they're the same roof, you're fine. So yep. You're in the hallway. Us house or a family member can run. So even if you are under the same household, you can still run because it is a it is a, it is a member of a council plus spouse that can be on the council. K. Which has been yes. They can be under the same roof and that's all. We're hearing different things,

5
00:03:07.005 --> 00:03:48.330
but we're, ending at the same goal. Right. Right. Well, we're not under the same law. Yeah. Yeah. So we're we're good anyway. And we never agree with each other anyway. That's fine. Perfect. Thank you. So thank you very much. Alright. Beth. I'd like to, address the council on the flag resolution that's coming up. And I don't know if normal is good. I prefer to wait a little closer or up to the when you're going to talk about it because there's a lot of of in between. Sure. Thank you. That's up to you. Why don't, Pat, why don't I just call on you when, after we have a little brief discussion about it once I call for a resolution?

6
00:03:48.710 --> 00:04:25.665
But let's just see if we even get a, a first and a second on it. And then, if we do, we'll have a little brief discussion with the council, and then I can ask you if you'd like to say something about that. Is that fair? That's great. K. Alright. Moving on to the consent agenda. Slight change of $20 on letter b, the city accounts payable in the amount of $20,009.35 59. Again, 20,000 comma $9.03 5 period five nine. I need a motion to approve. So Motion. K. I have a motion from Sean,

7
00:04:25.725 --> 00:05:09.340
second from Wayne. All in favor? Aye. Aye. Motion approved. Under the agenda, we have another donation request excuse me. A request from the FCCLA for the national conference, so we'll put that at letter d. Any other additions or subtractions? Under your report, council meeting date, it's due to And then, under mayor's report, number three, council just put council meeting date. Any other additions or subtractions to the agenda? K. Otherwise, I need a motion.

8
00:05:10.600 --> 00:06:03.320
So moved. K. The motion from Tom. Second. Second from Scott e. Well, I might just scot down. All in favor? Aye. Motion passes. Moving on to presentations. Cassie, good timing. You're up first. Donation request from Norman County rates one. Hi. Thanks for having me. You wanna take one of each and pass them around, please? Thanks for having us this evening. I am, grateful for the opportunity to join Jake Bittker and the team at Norman County Raceway in supporting and promoting all that they do out there.

9
00:06:03.320 --> 00:06:50.860
And, you know, their biggest passion is to support. Sorry, Cassie. What is that? How do they try and get Sean going? I don't have a boat that you got in my room. Had to bring some good laughs tonight. I figured you guys could use one. Good job. So we are are honored to be able to promote all the wonderful things that happened in Ada, all the wonderful businesses that support each other and make this city what it is, and are hoping to partner with the city of Ada once again to bring, the fan appreciation night back,

10
00:06:51.240 --> 00:07:28.760
which would be our last race of the season in August. I've attached a schedule for you guys as well. And what the sponsorship and partnership with the city would bring benefits for the city would be a three by five trackside signage, logo and business recognition for the city of Ada on TV, the WDAY, advertisements on Wednesday evenings at the 10:00 news and Thursday morning news. Radio advertising with KRJB here in town and, the advertising as the the, sponsored sponsorship for the appreciation night.

11
00:07:28.980 --> 00:08:02.745
And then we would be happy to do live announcements for the city of Ada, thanking them throughout the season. And then we would have your logo included on the official race schedule, our social media platforms, and our website. And what this impact provides is an opportunity for people to enjoy a night out. Kids will be free. Adults are usually $16 a ticket, but this would have the ability to provide tickets at $5. It creates high attendance, family friendly event tied directly to our our city of Ada.

12
00:08:03.045 --> 00:08:43.770
And we are hoping and planning to be a big part of the hundred and fiftieth celebration this year. We are hosting the bus races, which Sean likes to dress in women's clothes for. She's at all. And, and hosting the host support the free will community meal. I believe, Jake is working with you, Pat, on that for the, all school reunion. Yep. The all school reunion that I didn't I'm not aware of that free will, but it could be Yep. Jake is working on making that possible for everyone. I'm tired of getting So Jake Jake is,

13
00:08:44.570 --> 00:09:18.110
hoping to in return, he's getting some support. He said, you know, people would maybe have to purchase their drink because that's inexpensive. Get, like, a bottle of water with it. But he's, built some partnerships with other people willing to make donations to hopefully make that a free will type deal. And, so the investment would be the same as last year, which is $1,750, but it's a marketing package valued at 3,000. So we're asking for your support on that. Each Thursday night, we tend to bring in four to 600 people between participants and racers,

14
00:09:19.210 --> 00:09:59.995
family members, and then those in the stands cheering everybody on. And then we will be having the World World of Outlaws again this year, and that usually brings in anywhere between, two to 3,000 people. Question. Do we have an advertising budget? This will come out of our, the gambling fund budget. I I don't think it should come out of that. That's for charitable purposes, and this is a profit corporation, but I can see the advertising. We have money for we can say that wherever you want, I guess. But last year, it came out of that. We do have advertising funds in all of our departments. Most of it's already allocated.

15
00:10:00.375 --> 00:10:39.150
I could potentially get $17.50 by taking something from every single department. So event center, EDA, city, council has one, DECO has one, liquor store has one. I don't know if it's gonna be quite $17.50. It'd be close because we have very small marketing budgets, and they're pretty much already allocated. But we could definitely, you know, allocate portions and come up with that. I don't have the number off the top of my head what each department has remaining after they're already advertising contracts that they've signed.

16
00:10:39.290 --> 00:11:19.585
I would rather see it come out of advertising rather than charitable donations because if we start opening a door to any profit corporation getting a charitable donation, are you making a I will make a motion. $1,750 out of advertising budget. Can't if Ashley can't get it out of advertising, you just take it out of long term capital? Yeah. I can I think like I said, I don't have the number off the top of my head because there's so many different departments? But I think between all of them, I can get really darn close. Tom, just spitballing before someone seconds it. Would you rather just take it out of long term capital anyway to leave those

17
00:11:19.585 --> 00:11:55.895
advertising budgets remaining since it's only May 5? Would that be okay with you? Why don't I send you guys out an email to show you what we have remaining? Most of our Yeah. Because most of our advertising budgets, we we do have contracts. We have whether it's Care JV or we have certain pay the loan. So A Okay. It's not a big amount, but it's And I I will reiterate there's really not much gonna be made off of this after the discount provided for community members. And Jake does partner with the fairgrounds,

18
00:11:55.955 --> 00:12:32.980
which is a five zero one c three, and a lot of that is work together to promote the fairgrounds as well. And so there's an opportunity to work that out with them too. Because it is it is for the community. You know? I I do wanna just throw out there, when we're planning the hundred and fiftieth that, Jake has been extremely, supportive and wanting to host, like, the bus races for us. He's not charging the city or and working on trying to get the cost either, next to nothing for people to attend and working on trying to get its own

19
00:12:32.980 --> 00:13:08.265
sponsorships. And I think that's gonna be a huge event for the city of Ada that weekend. So Yeah. And then providing the the meal too because nobody else wanted to try to hold the meal for city of Ada event that day. So Yeah. And, I've been working that's part of the reason he brought me on to the team, to help promote the events throughout the hundred and fiftieth anniversary and the fair. But also, I've been working with some car clubs, motorcycle clubs, the, freedom riders. If you remember, they came and gave a presentation.

20
00:13:08.325 --> 00:13:45.485
They've been to the pub. So we're working on getting some big groups of people to come and attend. We're gonna donate money back on the, military and first responders night, which is May 28. So we welcome all of you who many of you are firefighters and first responders to attend. It's free admission that night, and we are gonna donate our portion of the fifty fifty raffle back to, them and their in support for the veterans. So lots of wonderful things happening that are new this year and bringing large groups of people into, ADA and inviting them for the hundred and fiftieth anniversary as well and hopefully for

21
00:13:45.485 --> 00:14:24.480
the parade too. Perfect. So I I got a motion from Tom, second from Mike. I would like to further discussion. I would like to add something before we vote on this. Absolutely. With all the extra that Jake is doing this summer, can we just round this thing up to $2,000 to give him a little bit extra boost? As long as Tom wants to amend his motion, I don't know if they're No. Request is for $17.50. That will be my motion the way it is. K. Yeah. I I I'm kinda with Tom too, and I don't have a vote on this, but, we got plenty of other money to give out tonight too.

22
00:14:24.480 --> 00:15:12.200
Okay. You can always come back. I'm excited. Any other, further discussion? K. Hearing none, I got a motion from Tom, second from Mike, in the amount of $17.50. All in favor? Aye. All opposed? Motion passes. Thank you. Thanks, Cassie. Thank you. Okay. Moving on to donation request from Pub twenty one. Lori has not shown up. So we'll, we'll go through the other two donation requests. And, if Laurie or someone from Pub twenty one is not attended by then, we'll, scratch it from the agenda. So, third item is a donation request from,

23
00:15:12.520 --> 00:15:53.790
Norman County Ag Society. As Burke is walking up to the podium slash, microphone, you guys all got the letter in the packet Mhmm. From him. I hope you read it. Bert, the floor is yours. Alright. Well, thank you. Thanks for the invitation back in March to come back. So here I am. And, the letter in the packet, I think, shares hopefully enough of the story of what we are doing, where we're at, the needs, and also the impact that it has for the city of Ada, the fair plus the fairgrounds.

24
00:15:55.055 --> 00:16:29.535
And that's one thing that I do wanna emphasize is that there are many community events, many families that use the fairgrounds for graduations, for reunions, for other events. Organizations use it for fundraisers plus the fair itself. With the investment that we're making for the grandstand events, the ground events of $65,000, plus the additional repairs that we've done and the repairs that we are doing prior to this year's fair. I would just like the city to consider an additional contribution,

25
00:16:30.155 --> 00:17:09.350
partnership, sponsorship, donation, whatever words you want to use for it, out of the gaming fund as we are a nonprofit group. And, I'm open to any questions you have. But I think the letter hopefully explained enough of what we're doing and where we're at and the needs. Do you have contributions from the other cities in the county? What's our We have not. 5,000. After today's check, 5,000. A little over 5,000, Tom. Tom asked, what we're sitting at. In the gaming fund. In the gaming fund after today, it's a little over 5,000. We've got the two biggest checks we've ever got coming down blank on in the

26
00:17:09.350 --> 00:17:50.465
last two months. So we had 3,200 in March, and we just got a $2,400 one today Yeah. For April. I I also would like to, you know, be as you guys think about this before you talk about it, keep in mind, you know, these funds are supposed to get back to the community. Mhmm. And even if we don't have them now, you know, we can write checks and send them and get them, you know, in a month from now when the fair is ready, if if you guys so choose as far as amount wise. So don't let that dictate, the amount that you wanna give,

27
00:17:50.465 --> 00:18:27.440
if you wanna give. But those options are there. Yes. They are. We have other organizations or businesses that also say we will commit to x amount, it may be one, two, three, or four months to get that. That's that's not a problem. At least we know what we are going to be receiving. What figure are you looking at? We're requesting up to 5,000. You've already contributed 500, so the remaining would be, I guess, up to 4,500 would be within the parameters of what we talked about two months ago.

28
00:18:37.340 --> 00:19:22.290
I I I I I thought I heard, and I said, that's annoying. Yeah. How about that? You did it then we did it. Guys, help me out here. Come on. Let's, yeah. We'll make a motion for 3,000. Be paid over a period of three months. Thousand months a month or a thousand dollars a month? K. I'll second it. K. I got a motion from Wayne and a second from Tom, In the amount of thousand or $3,000, thousand dollars for the next three months. There we go. Discussion. It all works. Further discussion? Call the question. All in favor?

29
00:19:22.530 --> 00:20:03.940
Aye. Aye. All opposed? Motion passes. Thank you. Now if there is something that the council or Ashley wants to specifically have City of Ada signage or recognition with as a special event, let me know, and we'll work on that. Yeah. We'll work it out. Okay. We're good. Thank you. Thanks, Bert. Thanks, Jim. Alright. FCCLA, you guys are up. If you wanna just come up to the microphone, you don't have to sit down. You can stand. Just introduce yourself and Hi. I'm Caitlin Tinger.

30
00:20:04.000 --> 00:20:41.095
I'm Janet Kyle. We would to attend the twenty twenty six National Leadership Conference in Washington, D. C. From July 2026. NLC is a student leadership conference for middle and high school students and their family and consumer science professionals and students across America. Here, we were able to present our star event project in the national level. Our project this this year centered on local families that were in food that were food insecure. We held a food drive for the first two weeks of December 2025,

31
00:20:41.555 --> 00:21:25.020
which was very successful in receiving food and monetary donations. We go The following is an estimate of cost for us to attend the National Leadership Conference, and this is the total for two people. The registration was 630. The round trip airfare was 455. The hotel cost $900 and the meals estimated is about $700 The National Leadership Conference is an excellent investment for us and we hope you agree by supporting our request for financial support.

32
00:21:25.080 --> 00:21:56.410
It is an honor to have the opportunity to represent Minnesota and the Annapolis School at this national event. We are committed to using our time at NLC to learn, grow, and explore the many career opportunities that will help prepare us to be leaders in our families, careers, and communities. We appreciate your consideration in supporting our FCCLA's chapter attendance at this important professional and leadership development conference. Please let us know if you need any additional information to provide financial assistance for this event.

33
00:21:57.565 --> 00:22:43.540
Is the school contributing to your trip? Not for this event, but we're doing, like, a lot of fundraise. Fundraise for this one. How many students are you doing? Just asking. Just asking. How much are you girls asking for? How'd you give me that? Tom's feeling giving. Yeah. So No. I I've never had that feeling. Yeah. You have. It's something new. I'll keep them down. You'll pass them down again? No. I'll just keep them. I think I think it might just mean emotion. It might just mean emotion. Yeah. Or together.

34
00:22:43.920 --> 00:23:16.790
A piece. I don't yeah. I guess, I don't know how that works. I don't know what we usually do for the groups. I mean, they they do a really good job. I mean, for some girls with these girls and the rest of them that went last month down to The States. So I I I don't know what what do you guys think? That's a good question. Yeah. It's your motion. My I guess we're giving. I don't know. Is it 500 a piece, I guess? Is that alright? It's it's you're the guy who's like It's almost half. So Yeah. It's a lot, actually. 100 I paid for the first two hours of How about you?

35
00:23:16.790 --> 00:23:55.075
That's what I drop in the bucket, but it's a help, I think. Second it. Okay. Okay. So I got a motion from Mike and a second from Tom in the amount of thousand dollars 500 a piece. Any further discussion? All in favor? Aye. Aye. Motion passes. Thanks, Rose. Kind of blue at 5,000. Yeah. Ashley will, get in touch with you guys. Make it up to the FCCLA like we've done in the past? Yeah. K. Okay. Awesome. Thank you. Did you do you need a copy of your letter for your letter? Yeah. I would love to have that. Thank you. I can come. Okay. Sorry. Perfect. Perfect. Okay.

36
00:23:55.075 --> 00:24:43.705
Thank you so much. Perfect. Thank you, Marilson. I should've said name because of that. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Moving on moving on to, report of department heads and committees, mayor's report. Again, just, elections for 2026. We have four council seats and the mayor's seats that are all gonna be open. The filing period is July 14 through the twenty eighth. So if there's any individuals from the council or the community, excuse me, that would like to, put their name in the head, July 14 through the twenty eighth. I think it's a dollar still, isn't it?

37
00:24:43.705 --> 00:25:20.215
Two. They'll they jumped into two. Yeah. It's been two, I think, for COVID. Well, you haven't had COVID. No. It's too. COVID raised it. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Special bonding session. Ashley can probably report more on this, but I'm gonna set a meeting for next Tuesday, May 12. I'll let you guys decide the time, but, Ashley got a call today. I I I did tell Jason it'd probably be at six 6PM, like, our normal time if that worked, but we can do it anytime. He said, we can't do the morning because which we probably wouldn't, but that's when the sale of the bond will be. And then once so it gets presented,

38
00:25:21.970 --> 00:25:59.410
and hopefully, we get a good one, a good bid on it. And then by that evening, we'll he'll have all the documents ready for us. So we did get an a plus rating today. That's what I was hoping for. Yeah. So yeah. So the 06:00, is everyone okay with that? We'll just do four of you. It it'll be very quick. Yeah. Yes. And so it's golf. So it's 06:00. Oh, do you wanna Do you wanna do 05:30? We can start at five if you want. Let's just do it at five. Five? 05:00. Okay. 05:00, May 12. And, again, just to reiterate, Ashley said she got a call.

39
00:25:59.410 --> 00:26:40.005
You know, we're a plus still. So you guys aren't spending as much money as you think you are, you know, you are. But Tom, Sean. Hey. Good. Third item, council meeting date. We've talked about this in the past, moving our summer council dates to a different night. Tuesdays are tough for some people. No. Just me. As our policy goes, we can I mean, we can set a date by the meeting? We don't necessarily have to do it by the Memorial Day to Labor Day. You know, we can set it month by month if you guys want.

40
00:26:40.385 --> 00:27:17.620
It's standard to have it on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of the month, which I think we should keep just for regulation size or regulation size. Yeah. That's what we when we do in January when we, officially accept, like, our official newspaper and banks, we accept that date. So you you're moving it, and that's fine. We can move it. But, yeah, we can't officially officially change it. So I'm thinking Monday, for everybody, if that's okay. And I would just I'd move it back a day, Monday at 06:00 from May,

41
00:27:17.620 --> 00:27:54.390
June, July, and August. First Monday of each month? First Monday. Gotta make a motion to change the meeting to the first Monday of each month, June, July, and August. K. It has ruined my summer, but Oh, Sorry. Why? Because I'm taking all Mondays off. Oh. Well, you gotta come back towards Tuesday, so it's, like, come back to town, have a concert meeting, observe the meal, and be married. Go ahead with the pen. Do I have a pen? Do I have a pen? Yeah. We'll see how well that worked. So was that a second? Lay it over. That's a second. Okay. So I got a motion from Tom and a second from Wayne.

42
00:27:54.610 --> 00:28:33.405
So, June, July, and August, we'll have Monday meetings at 06:00, City Hall. Any further discussion? All in favor? Aye. All opposed? Motion passes. K. Administrator clerk, treasurer's report. Alright. I just got a couple of things. Mostly, it's just reminders of things. First thing I wanted to point out is we were down in sales again at the liquor store this last month just by $400. So this has been a trend the last three months. So Jerry and I are gonna sit as being as our profit being down from last year. Our sales are still really consistent.

43
00:28:33.405 --> 00:29:10.015
It's just the price of everything has gone up so much that even though we're getting higher sales, the profit is not there. So Jerry and I are gonna sit down and try to figure out what we can do now this summer. Yeah, we're just not getting we don't wanna raise our margins too much because then we get the conversations of, you know, which was we're much more expensive than somewhere else. We've been looking to try to purchase more in bulk with other municipalities around us When we went to the municipality meeting or the MMBA meeting, that got brought to our attention as something that we might be able to possibly do with some bigger quantities we can buy the lower the,

44
00:29:11.215 --> 00:29:49.680
the lower the cost is. So we're gonna be trying to explore some ways. Like I said, it's not a huge loss each month, but we all know that we need to keep those sales and profits up in order to just break even each year. So with that being said, I will keep you guys updated on that and see if we can figure out a way to get those profits up. So what I had there, the Deco Center, she's in the middle of, getting the locker rooms done. So if you remember, you guys approved the tile bid, the last month. So she's been busy doing that there.

45
00:29:51.580 --> 00:30:25.095
Otherwise, she's been going full force with swimming lessons, been busy. We are down to no lifeguards this summer. All of her lifeguards either quit or did find other jobs. And so I know that she's recruiting. She's got a couple people interested that were hoping to get trained. She has been lifeguarding now and continues will continue to lifeguard throughout the summer to make sure that we can at least get open swim, but it does cut out then of other things that she can do to the day. Day. So

46
00:30:26.195 --> 00:31:02.855
please help spread the word that we need lifeguards if we want that pool to be open as much as possible for open swim this summer because it is a big, it is a big activity that we get. Obviously, many kids during the week come in for that. So the next thing I wanted to touch on, I'm gonna put my agenda here. I'm gonna stop on the menu. Alright. Next thing is the bike rodeo. So Brianna has been planning that. That is set for tomorrow. It is still on even with the weather. I encourage you guys to come out if you can, even just swing by if you'd like to volunteer.

47
00:31:02.855 --> 00:31:36.320
I know many of you have in the past, and we appreciate that. I do know that they have plenty of volunteers this year. They got the track team involved, which is awesome. Last I heard, there was over a 120 kids signed up. And usually the day out, we get another 30 to 40. Could be different this year just because it's so cold. We'll see if those numbers, but, it is fun. It's complete chaos, but the kids seem to have a great time. And it it is it's great to see all of our departments come out and help and everybody out there. So just keep in mind, it starts at 03:30 tomorrow. We go until five.

48
00:31:36.560 --> 00:32:15.415
The parade will be through town like it is and end at the Deco Center. Welcome. Oh, I thought you raised your hand. Nope. That's not that flight. This much. Just kidding me tonight. The next thing we have is the 2025 audit. The auditors have been in my office the last two days. I feel very I feel pretty confident. They left today with saying that they just have a few wrap up things that they'll be emailing me throughout this week. Just a few finalized things for questions. So, hopefully, we'll get that final audit back. Usually, it's mid June to early July when they're done with the final report.

49
00:32:15.815 --> 00:32:58.710
And then we'll be able to dig into it a little bit and see our numbers from 2025. Fire department golf tournament, I just wanna mention this. Sean, maybe you wanna chat about it a little bit more, since you're doing majority of the work, if not all the work of that. I'm not doing all, but yeah. It'll be June 19, to Friday. Same same kind of deal as last year. Nine holes. Starts at 10AM. Raising money for some equipment and and, necessary stuff at the fire department. If any be whole sponsors, just get a hold of me.

50
00:32:58.710 --> 00:33:41.495
I can I can make that happen? Perfect. Yeah. Yeah. It's a it's a nine hole scramble. Four person team. Yep. $200 center. Yep. And then I just wanted to put a clean up week reminder of this week. And then as a reminder, we do not send out packets this year. Post office does not do every door direct mail anymore. So we've sent them out. We've sent actual packets out in all the papers that came locally, which was only about 350. Usually, we send out about 850 to 900 packets. It's been posted. We've been sharing it. Radio has been sharing it.

51
00:33:41.735 --> 00:34:27.050
We've had people come in and stop. We have hard copies to give people, but just wanted to touch it again on this meeting that that will be this Thursday, Friday, Saturday. As of now, the weather looks great, so I don't see them scheduling it. Same location as always in the fire department parking lot. And that's all I got for the updates unless there's any questions specifically. Perfect. New business, kaleidoscope guests, Sean and Wayne. Yeah. Thursday morning. Thursday morning, 09:00. K. Moving on to, resolution twenty twenty six dash o five dash o one,

52
00:34:27.430 --> 00:35:11.715
displaying the old flag on city property. I'll start with brought up to you last month? I'll start with this. Yep. Wayne brought it up to me last month after our meeting, and Wayne was probably oh, you're probably the nineteenth or twentieth individual throughout the community since the states, in other cities have started adopting this, that have approached me about this. So you weren't the first, but you were the first council member. And, I think, well, let's see what the council has to say. Wayne, since you, yep. Let's get a motion.

53
00:35:11.715 --> 00:36:33.060
I'll make a motion to adopt the resolution without meeting it. K. Motion from Tom. Second. Second from Wayne. Now we can have discussion. Now we can have discussion. Pat, if you wanna speak first, by all means, help yourself, and then I'll I'll ask for helpful, information. Okay. So I know this is a topic that's come up before. People are talking about it. And I thought that maybe a little education on flags would be helpful to make a decision on what you wanna do or not do. So first of all, I thought we got an old flag,

54
00:36:34.480 --> 00:37:11.855
and we have a new flag. Alright? So if we compare the two just to know what you're looking at there, the old flag is on top of this picture, and I apologize that the copy didn't come through better. But it's described as a dark blue background with the white ring with the state the old state seal in the middle of it because there is now a new state seal. Okay? The state seal, has the Indian has the white settler plowing a field in the foreground,

55
00:37:12.475 --> 00:37:56.975
and it has an Indian riding off behind. It has a Tuiles du Nord, which is star of the north, on a banner there. And it has three dates on it. One's the left, top, one's the right. It's 1819, 1893, and 1858. The new flag is on the bottom. It's got the dark field, the dark blue field on the left with the outline of Minnesota. It's got the eight pointed star on the left with one of the points indicating North. The star symbolizes the North Star and was taken from the star inlaid in the

56
00:37:56.975 --> 00:38:37.640
floor of the rotunda of the state Capitol. That's where that star came from. On the right, you have a blight, bright blue field. It doesn't look bright blue there, but it is. The blue symbolizes the water and the lakes and the land of 10,000 lakes. So there's your two flags. If you'd like to turn it over, I've got a little history. The first flag ever for the state of Minnesota was made in '9 or 1893 using the state seal. It was a white flag. The second flag that was adopted by the legislature is in 1957 and it changed

57
00:38:37.640 --> 00:39:11.690
the background to blue and it put a white ring around the seal. And this is basically the flag that we have right now. The third flag was in adopted in 1983 and the the biggest change was making a lighter blue background instead of the dark background. It's lighter. Starting in 1989, several proposals have been made to the state legislature to design a new flag. There was 1989, 2000, 2007, 2009.

58
00:39:13.270 --> 00:39:56.915
Criticism. So why did why were there requests for a new flag? The criticisms of the flag were that it was overly complex, violating principles of good flag design, which includes simplicity, meaningful symbols, and minimal text. Another criticism was the flag was culturally incentive as it displayed a one-sided narrative of displacement of indigenous peoples. In 2001, a national organization of flag scholars, the North American Vexillological Association published a survey in which experts rated the Minnesota flag as one of the

59
00:39:56.915 --> 00:40:33.900
10 worst designs in The United States and Canada. And was actually sixty seventh out of 72 flags that were rated. The expert survey judged the flag designs according to their visibility at a distance and effective use of pattern and symbol. In 2023, the Minnesota legislature created a state emblem redesign commission to reimagine the state's seal and flag. The commission requested design submissions from Minnesota and received 2,128

60
00:40:33.900 --> 00:41:12.665
designs and over 20,000 comments. The commission shows six final designs and publicized them and asked for comments on a favorite design. The commission then chose a final flag design and recommended it to the legislature. It was adopted on 05/11/2024 and became the legal emblem of the state of Minnesota. At that time, the old flag was retired. Although the redesigned commission was bipartisan and the flag approve approval was bipartisan,

61
00:41:13.445 --> 00:41:55.480
the new flag has become a political issue in Minnesota. One of the criticisms is that the flag resembles the Somalia flag, and I have heard that. So I didn't know what the Somalia flag looked like. So I went online, I found a flag, and I pictured it there. That's the flag of Somalia. So you can look at that. You guys can make your own judgment whether you think it does resemble or not. Okay? So that brings us today to this resolution right here. The resolution states the whereas, okay,

62
00:41:55.480 --> 00:42:34.490
the redesign in 01/01/2024. The second whereas is the state flag has remained largely unchanged since 1893. The current official state flag was created in 1957 with modifications in 1983. That is not a true statement. The official flag was the one adopted in 2024. Whereas Minnesota statutes do not require municipality to fly a state flag, I didn't research that whether that's true or not.

63
00:42:34.985 --> 00:43:10.555
Pat, I got this right from our attorneys that this is and this is following the same as the other cities in town or the other cities in Minnesota are adopting. Okay. But you can I'm just letting you know. Mhmm. That's where it came from. That's where it came from. Alright. That statement still isn't true because it's not the official state flag. Okay. And flying the state flag is a policy decision of the Ada City Council. Therefore, be it resolved by the city council, the city of Ada, Minnesota that the Minnesota state flag as modified in 1983 will be flown on state

64
00:43:10.715 --> 00:43:50.350
on city property. So my question, I guess, my concern is why do we need this? Are we flying a flag right now? I have not seen a city flag. We have on display. Okay? If you wanna call that flying. At our new place, we might. You might. It might happen in the future. Correct. Okay? Pat, I gotta just real quick before I gotta comment. I I chuckled a little bit as you're reading through this. I wasn't chuckling at your commentary or your description of this. I was chuckling that there is a national organization of flag scummers that ranked us

65
00:43:50.570 --> 00:44:35.315
Mhmm. Not at anything you were speaking of. Yeah. Okay. That's I don't I gotta get on that board next, I think. That won't be a lie. That's that's fine. I, you know, I just don't understand unless, you wanna ensure that the new flag is never flown. Well But I don't think if you're going to fly a state flag that you can fly the one that has been retired. Why can't you? I think it's up to us and, I think, the state has actually, agreed to that. That it's up to, the punish cities that don't Yeah. Right. Go against the new flag.

66
00:44:35.315 --> 00:45:10.605
I I think the council is, it's not gonna go anywhere. But, you know, the council is embracing history. That's not going to go anywhere. That's I think it's embracing history, more than anything. I I guess if anyone from the council wants to say anything. Well, I think the old flag symbolizes our our location a lot closer than this the new style flag. It represents the farmer who's built this community. And the Native Americans. And the Native Americans. Mhmm. And the Native Americans crowd. The ones I've spoken to,

67
00:45:10.605 --> 00:45:46.300
and I'm friends with quite a few. And, they have no objection to they don't know why it was taken off. I've heard the opposite. I've heard the Native American indigenous community is offended by the flag because it's the Indian riding off into the sunset. They're done. They're gone. The American the white people are here. The Indian is not. I don't think that's the way I'm So you can No. That's That's that's that's that's that's that's that's the way I was mislead rejected to No.

68
00:45:46.300 --> 00:46:19.900
I I haven't I haven't heard from you yet. That was one of the changes. Correct? The direction of the horse that the native American was riding. That was one of those, changes. Changes in, Whatever it was. Yeah. 1983. The Yeah. That was angle the angle of the horse change. Because of that because of that dispute, let's say, that they were riding off in the sunset. That was one of those. Well, we're looking to celebrate our hundred and fiftieth anniversary, and I think that the old style state flag is part of that history, and it should be part of our celebration.

69
00:46:21.160 --> 00:46:59.035
Mhmm. I don't think the new flag is just so neutral. It's expensive. It it has nothing regardless of Yes. Yeah. Yep. Well, I just no flag has more history. I disagree because when the new flag flies on the flagpole, you can't. It's blue with a yellow circle or white circle. That's all you see. You don't see that little picture in the middle. If you look at the new flag, it shows Minnesota. That's Minnesota's flag. It has a star, the star of the north. It has blue for the water.

70
00:46:59.035 --> 00:47:42.660
It's symbolic, and you can see it. Whereas this is a blue flag with a circle on it. I guess I don't see Minnesota on there. I see a Kmart sign. Yeah. I agree. It looks like a big k from Kmart in my in my book. But I guess I'd call the question. Yeah. I got a motion from Tom and a second from Wayne. Any further discussion? Resolution twenty twenty six dash o five dash o one by roll call vote, Mike, on a Scott. Aye. Jeff. Aye. Sean. Aye. Tom. Aye. Wayne. Aye.

71
00:47:42.880 --> 00:48:28.915
Resolution twenty twenty six dash o five dash o one passes five to one. Thank you, though, Pat. Thanks, Matt. Resolution twenty twenty six dash o five dash o two. Consent includes an amendment to the leasehold mortgage with, Benedictine. This is from from last meeting. I sent, So this is the official resolution. It's Yes. I see the motion. I'll make that motion. K. Got a motion from Sean. Second. Second from Wayne. Any further discussion? Nope. Wave the reading, or do we don't need to do it? Yeah. He oh, he waved the reading.

72
00:48:28.915 --> 00:49:06.850
Right. Holy cow. I think it's, like, 10 pages long. Man, that's a lot of money. I think I heard you say it under your crap. Yeah. But you said it. Yeah. I've heard of them. Yeah. Well, I thought so. Resolution twenty twenty six dash o five dash o two by roll call vote. Mike. Hi. Scott. Aye. Jeff. Aye. Sean. Aye. Tom. Aye. Wayne. Aye. Resolution twenty twenty six dash o five dash o two passes. And then, resolution twenty twenty six dash o five dash o three declaring a vacancy. First and foremost, obviously, as most of you guys know,

73
00:49:06.850 --> 00:49:39.930
Scott Norquist is moving out of town here at the end of the month, somewhere in May. Somewhere in May. The month of '20. Yeah. So, his official day his last official day as council member was yesterday. He turned his resignation. So tonight, we could open up the the the vacancy. So coming in at our the adoption of resolution 2,026 dash o five zero three without reading. I could talk to you, Tom. K. And I got a motion from Tom. Second. Second from Scott. Resolution twenty twenty six dash o five dash o three by roll call vote. Mike? Aye. Scott?

74
00:49:39.930 --> 00:50:21.265
Aye. Jeff? Aye. Sean? Aye. Tom? Aye. Wayne? Aye. Resolution twenty twenty six dash o five dash o three passes. With that being said, we have a open vacancy for city council. At our June meeting, I will ask for, appointments, recommendations, and volunteers. Do we need to authorize the administrator to advertise the vacancy or part of that. In there somewhere. Alright. I bet. It's implied all out. It's implied. Always do. Committee updates. Brian, do you wanna just come up and sip? It's better, you know, if we can hear your Absolutely.

75
00:50:21.645 --> 00:50:58.190
Voice on the the microphone. Quiet meeting here. Yeah. Yeah. So, committee updates, public works is first. Brian, I'll let you we got storm sewer and pot hole repairs, tree removal, and alternate road access to public works Yeah. On the agenda. I will. So what else to talk about? Where do you wanna start? Storm sewer and pothole repairs, please. On the patching? Is that what you the right rock? Yep. That's the well, I have the Agatee asphalt that you've given me and the Right Walk paving that you've given me. Yeah. We had two quotes Yep.

76
00:50:58.270 --> 00:51:34.240
For patching the spots that we already have dug up in the streets, which there's, like, 12 or 13, something like that. Oh. The cost of doing that is $43,920.50, and that's what the I'll let Tom describe how he wants to pay for it, I guess. Right. Yeah. The the other works for the recommending or is requesting 45,000 from the electrical fund to do the pothole repairs, etcetera. So I can give you the much.

77
00:51:34.240 --> 00:52:11.435
I can give you the rationale why they decided that. I have Oh, this is work for guys. We did. So we have 1,400,000. Yeah. Well, this doesn't work that way It's a long distance. With our auditors. We don't just take that money out of there. So what would happen is you would transfer it into the long term capital, and we normally do it on a year to year basis. Right now, we are in our budgeting. After all the transfers, all of our electrical fund, we have a surplus of $54,000. And in the past, we've had surpluses of 125 to 200.

78
00:52:11.575 --> 00:52:45.005
The reason why I've lowered this here, if you guys remember, when we budget planned, we did a larger transfer from our electric fund electrical fund already into the general fund. We typically do a 640,000, and we did it 840,000. So that we do not have to raise the levy. So while you can do it, it's not as simple as just saying we're gonna save from this fund. How much is the water fund? Our water fund I'll look here. It it all works the the same. So our water and and sewer fund, we don't really have a surplus at the end of the year. Electrical. Yeah. So we can take it off electrical,

79
00:52:45.145 --> 00:53:18.130
but we don't just allocate, like, that fund that's sitting there. So what I'm saying is when you see it on our statement, it's gonna be long term capital, and then you take from the electric fund and transfer it into long term capital. Or does that make sense? Long term capital fund. Right now, our long term capital is sitting at about 1.2, 1.3 almost. But if you remember our building, we're taking $230,000 out of the long term capital. 100,000. Less $3. You donate So my question is why are we not taking it out of the $96,000

80
00:53:18.130 --> 00:53:48.890
that we have already in storm sewer repairs? So In our general fund, we have $96,000. We've got 90 of that designated So we so ready. So me and Ash had a conversation after this. I just kinda wanna fill everybody in on the conversation we had that night at our public works. Like, the idea was that we have $90,000 set aside from the state every year for this kind of project. We have 70 Okay. Five and then we allocate our own almost 20,000. Okay. Yeah. There's 90,000 available right now is what I what we were told.

81
00:53:48.890 --> 00:54:20.048
Yeah. Okay? Correct. So this was going to eat up a pretty big chunk of that number. Right? Correct. This paving. This paving. Just the stuff done that has been opened up in the last couple years. Couple of three about three years. Yeah. And then some of these definitely are some pretty high traffic areas that need to get done. So then the time of Why don't we just take it out of the budget. So here and and here, this is where I'm going with this. Because we never know if these projects actually get done. I and I've changed my tune since then, but I'm just hear me out.

82
00:54:20.048 --> 00:54:55.579
Yes. I think we should take that from that budget. And when we go to do the next projects in town, these next partials, if it overruns, then we're just over budget. And then we take it from Then we transfer from our left Then we take it from there. Okay? Because we don't know yet what we're gonna be over. To just say we're automatically gonna spend $90 on sewers, I think that's a little little far fetched. Well, 45. So you're right. Correct. And we also talked about 90,000. But if we take the ones that we've dug up, the manholes and the sanitary sewers and cover those up for was that the total?

83
00:54:55.579 --> 00:55:37.430
That's that's that yeah. That's that 45,000. It's just the ones that we dug up that we Okay. If we don't take $45 out of that, we take it out of the electrical, that means we have $90 for those projects. But you gotta take it out out of the demo. You gotta take it out of the budget. That's it first. I think that's a tax allocated money. You gotta take it out of the budget. That is what I And then ask for more money. That is what I'm getting at. I think we should just if it overruns, it overruns. Like, you're just Oh, not not it overruns, then we'll ask you'll ask for it. Correct. But if it if it gets over that 90,000 with this and whatever we're gonna do this year,

84
00:55:37.430 --> 00:56:09.840
which we know there's some pretty big projects. Yeah. It's a very good likelihood that we're gonna run over. It this Also Let me tell you why why they came up with that is, I've got five sewers that are in the street for households that need to get dug up. People are having issues and it's backing up. So I have five of those, and I've got five storm sewer sinkholes in the street. We know there's two on the East Side three on the East Side and two on the West Side. There's two on West 2nd Street, and then there's some on East 3rd Avenue.

85
00:56:09.900 --> 00:56:45.365
Yeah. That's the reason why they thought this was gonna take a good portion of the money. That's that was the rationale for them saying that. Well, we have to first. And that's that's just the way I think we're getting this is we're we're gonna get to the same outcome just in a little bit different ways. But that's just the rationale why. There's money. You know what I mean? But Just yeah. But the one thing I'll say is the reason why we're getting so backed up is because every year you have allocated projects, and then, unfortunately, the contractors don't get the time to get to it. And then those projects just keep building up Yeah.

86
00:56:45.485 --> 00:57:18.315
The next years. And so to to take money out of now, not knowing for sure if those projects will get accomplished. But I definitely think there's a way down the road that we can have a chat. I just think you should use your general fund budget first. And I'm fine with that too. I'm I'm just telling you the rationale of why they suggested that. It's fine coming out of budget. In a budget. When we got this, I was used 12 manholes and sewers that you've gotta fix. You have to come back to council and ask for that money out of what we'll fund. If we use up our budget.

87
00:57:18.315 --> 00:57:51.195
Well Yeah. Well, technically, if it's over $5, you gotta come in and get it. Yeah. Well, we gotta use up the budget first. The budget's the budget for for a reason. Alright. But That probably works as brought if the 90,000 is allocated, is was gonna be used on fixing these. And I don't know if it'll take But you haven't done any of it yet. That's This is the I don't know. This is the first. We've done one one of the sewers are fixed already. That you used your your 90,000 for? Yeah. I haven't gotten the invoice yet. But k. 5,000.

88
00:57:51.680 --> 00:58:29.190
Okay. Probably. I'm in my motion to 45,000 from the budget for the streets. K. I got a motion. Come back asking more money later. K. I'll second that one. I got a motion from Tom, second from Mike, to approve up to $45,000 from the street repair budget that it's meant to be for. Mhmm. Yeah. Because it's over 5,000. It's over 5,000. Yeah. Any other further discussion? Sounds good. Pothole Richard. Yep. Pothole and storm suit. All in favor? Aye. Aye.

89
00:58:29.410 --> 00:59:12.035
Motion approved. K. Thank you. Was this, Brian, this Agassi Asphalt? That was the second Second bid. Double second bid. Yeah. We should include in the motion, to go with that right rock. Right? Yep. Yep. Yep. K. Thank you. Alright. Tree removal. We're just stuck in I put a pretty extensive list to trim trees, and it wasn't really a motion for council. It was just I gotta I'm gonna prioritize what we need to prioritize what we need to trim first and use up the money in the budget and see where we're at from that point. We've got trees going in the right of way for our power lines,

90
00:59:12.575 --> 00:59:48.700
and we thought other words that are good to get them taken care of in advance of storms. Sure. So he's gonna get some cost estimates and prioritize, and we'll get back to the council. K. Can I make one recommendation? Because I heard from two, property owners last week, when I was discussing this. Is there any way that we can give notice to the property owner first Mhmm. To let them do it? I had both property owners last year that weren't very happy with how public works cut, AKA,

91
00:59:49.160 --> 01:00:23.770
trim their trees. They would have done it different. And some people are like that. Mhmm. Some people are particular. And they would have done it themselves had they known they had that option other than coming home after work and the tree was down or sliced. At least that's that's they should be notification of landowners before them. The commercial That's all I'm asking. That's That's good. That's good. Cut your head wraps. Yeah. Yeah. We don't we don't take a treat unless we get permission. No. These were these were limbs that were cut and cut.

92
01:00:23.770 --> 01:00:56.255
Cut. Again, I got we all know people that are particular about how they groom their lawn and their everything else. And Are you talking about boulevard trees? It was no. It was our guys. Like power lines. No. No. No. But I mean, the guys trimmed the boulevard too. Because power lines, if you had people trimming them, don't we have a If it's not in the power line, if if if they're talking, it's That's my concern is liability. If they're turning under power lines and they touch their power lines. Two that I can Yeah. That I talked to, they're not close to power lines.

93
01:00:56.255 --> 01:01:30.785
Okay. So then it was maybe full of trees that got chills. Yeah. That I could see. Remove them. That I could see. I was concerned about that. I I they're just asking if they could be notified if any of their trees were, then they could do it themselves, which would in turn save us money. That's easy. You know? So I don't know if that makes sense. Power lines. And we can, yeah, use that, you know, discretion in any kind of verbiage and context that you're when you're talking to them or send out a letter or however you guys wanna do it. But This list is mostly for power lines. Alright? It's all power lines.

94
01:01:30.785 --> 01:02:08.920
Because it it was basically power lines. That was not Yeah. It was no boulevard involved. It was all power line. It was either residential or non station. How about main line? Yeah. Yeah. We can do that easily. K. Alternative road access to public works. You have something going on out there? A little something something going on. Come out and check it out. We're talking about when they start this the project, the driveway that comes in from the east, we're gonna lose that. And then the one from the north, they're gonna be digging up to put water and sewer in there.

95
01:02:08.980 --> 01:02:43.435
So we're gonna lose both access points to our building. We wanna put a a road on the south side of the south shop to bring us around to the backside, the west side of the building that's still standing where we put the big garage door. Where you guys been driving all winter and spring? Yeah. Yeah. You guys saw the tracks and Yep. Anyway, it gets warm in the wintertime. We just dig it up and it just makes a heck of a mess. So this just makes sense for future use. Gravel? Gravel. Yep. It's just gravel. Yep. They put,

96
01:02:43.995 --> 01:03:20.345
fabric. You didn't do that yourself? Did you say? Five inch concrete. No. Five inch. Mister, I was gonna do it for you. There's a fan in the car. I have a car that you guys do. We don't have any. Well, I don't. Our community payload remaining. Yeah. Yeah. But you got it. Thousand $413 Billions for back doors. And bulldozers. Broadway, and I We don't need much time, Jay. And a motion from Tom. I'll second. Second from Jeff, for Visser trenching in the amount of $18,413.25. And that will be a permanent road, obviously, moving forward to which will be beneficial for you guys.

97
01:03:20.405 --> 01:03:58.101
Absolutely. Winner. Yep. Further discussion? All in favor? Aye. Aye. Motion passes. Thank you. Is that all we had? Any questions on anything? We good? Brian? What's your goal on the power lines? Like, are you trying to get them all buried eventually in this community? Or is that Not all. I mean Or But within The trouble spots where spots where we can't really get in, like the grass alley ones we call them. Yeah. And spots that are tough to get to, that's the ones I'm focusing on now. Okay. So Some some of the big power, you can't bury. No. Like the ones we had talked about behind Scott Steen,

98
01:03:58.101 --> 01:04:42.845
Cindy Peterson, Bruce Fizzer. Too big. Three k's is too big. It'd be too costly. So but a lot of the secondary lines are what we're so we don't have to trim trees, which costs us money. Yeah. How much does it cost a very large? That's the rationale of why I'm doing what I'm doing. Yeah. No. I like the idea. I like it. I think that's great. Alright. Thanks, Brian. Appreciate it. You bet. Public safety. It would have been me. Would have been. The only thing they brought up was with that, axon contract for the pagers and the for the tasers and the cameras going with a

99
01:04:42.845 --> 01:05:27.220
yearly contract with them to keep them updated. And, spoke a little bit about the accident they had on Highway 9 And 200 couple weekends ago and visiting with the state on that. Unfortunately, it sounds like the state's option is roundabout. Which we all love so much. And I don't know how they're gonna gonna fit it in there, but that's their that's in the future. I don't hopefully, not too soon. But They'd rather do that than a four way stop. They'll still go right through the orders,

100
01:05:27.220 --> 01:06:07.585
actually. Don't matter. Right? And then, Do you need more transportation? No. They didn't need it. It was in the budget. The the The 5,000 No. The the taser contract is actually the That comes up in August. For budget planning in August. So Steve's just getting ahead of it now to figure out what it would cost and then Yeah. Yeah. And then in our budget planning meeting, you'll information Yeah. For now. We'll make sure. But it wouldn't be this year. It would be something for 2027 budget. That'll get them working out. And then, I spoke with them about the lighted speed signs. Yeah. Okay. Where they're sitting in correction.

101
01:06:07.805 --> 01:06:45.110
They've been sitting in But they got wronger. Wrong ones. They've been sitting in crows for some days. Months. Yeah. So hopefully hopefully he's got a little bug to get there. Keep both on nine to 200 All corners coming to town. Yeah. All corners coming to because right now, we just have them by the fairgrounds that works three weeks out of the year. It doesn't work. They're quick. They put quick work batteries. Yeah. But these are solar powered. Okay. And Steve got a grant for it. Yeah. A year and a half ago. Yeah. They're in the valley. Well, we can get poles. Right. We got poles out there. Poles? Yeah. What kind of, like,

102
01:06:45.110 --> 01:07:25.455
power poles? Fucking I mean, that would work, but speed signs. You want to put on? Yeah. Speed signs. Those speed signs. Yeah. Do Like, I'm guessing poles. It's true. Yeah. I'm not feeling fine. So anyway, they got round poles through some darn thing that anyway I'm sure they want a special post for it. Somebody can visit with them about that. Yeah. Alright. No. Not me. EDA. Again. Cool. I don't think we did well, you go ahead. You were Well, we didn't we didn't make any, decisions that day. No. There's some stuff that's come up afterwards that's not finalized. So I guess that we'll just leave Yeah. We'll leave that alone.

103
01:07:25.455 --> 01:08:02.650
Yeah. We'll leave that one before. Just, yeah, just updates on on loans and what money is available. Yeah. No no action taken that day. Yeah. We've talked a lot about our demo fund. We still have that available, and we'd like to push that out there before the hundred and fiftieth if there's homes or buildings or shops or sheds or whatever that needs to get. We'd like to to help get those cleared out. And, yeah, we talked about them. Perfect. It's, beautification. I wasn't there either. Beautiful. Alright. I need a motion to adjourn.

104
01:08:02.790 --> 01:08:19.704
So we Second. I have a motion, Jeff. Second from Scott. All in favor? Aye. Aye. This meeting is adjourned. Everybody. Sweet. I I didn't realize, like, Friday was opening already, and I told him that.
