##VIDEO ID:clb10aOV-XI## the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all okay welcome everyone tonight to this beautiful evening we have in Le Minnesota and we wanted to respect some schedule so that's why we stuck with tonight's meeting uh open Forum as I see we don't have anyone we'll skip into celebrating our district successes and with no school today we don't have anyone that's uh here for employees of the month so we're going to move that to February and honor those people there and so that'll bring me into number five then the approval of today's agenda so I will look for a motion for approval so Move Motion by Gary is there a second second second by Angie is there any discussion all right seeing none all those in favor of the agenda as written signify by saying I I oppose the same sign all right before I go any further welcome Mr crans thank you it's great to see you it's good to be here would you give us just a snippet I mean a lot of you maybe you know David was uh 12 years over in Austin as a superintendent uh retired back in 22 and happy to have him back helping us out would you like to add anything special well just that 44 plus career and education been through a lot of different things but uh superintendent High School principal assistant principal and math and chemistry teacher grew up in a household of Educators my grandmother was a educator in a one room School House back in the days when they had those in South Dakota back in her times when she decided to get married she had quach and then my dad was 28 years of superintendent so been around education a lot I really believe in in what we do is so important for our students and every everyone deserves to have a quality education and I know I'm working in Austin and now here in Elbert Le we did a lot of things together we partnered you know it's just a matter of finding people with with similar needs and working together doesn't just public set in the private set Kim and I were talking earlier any opportunity we can take with the public to help build the strength of our our schools and our students the better everyone will be so but thank you for for allowing me this opportunity um my dad said when I became a superintendent he thought he'd raise a smarter kid than that I don't know say retired and came back I'm glad to be well thank you very much and I will say that I ran into a few Austin people and they all said to greet you and they were glad that uh you had the opportunity as we did to work together so thanks a lot all right so uh we get the agenda approved uh looking at the consent items so also look for a motion to approve the consent items as written Neil makes a motion is there a second Kim seconds any discussion on the uh do we need to pull some off or we don't no we're fine yep correct yeah correct but I will obain yeah okay okay sounds good Mary Joe will abstain from part of it so anything else all right uh see none all those in favor signify by saying I I and oppose the same sign all right motion carries uh off to the reports um we'll start with David sounds good I don't have to hold it down sounds good thank you uh just uh a quick update of what my few days in the district have looked like uh Darcy's kept me very busy um which is good keeps me out of trouble that way but last week and then this week I've been meeting with uh staff Administration school board members and um had the opportunity yesterday to go to each of the schools and during the staff development U meet with the staffs and really excited to see all the good work that's going on um and the hard work that's going on it's not always easy to to implement new programs and new mandates but our our folks through our leadership and their hard work are are working hard to to do the right things for our kids uh just a couple of U of notes of outstanding work uh from some of our Educators and students um Southeast service squab puts out an award um called stem forward outstanding educator award and Jeff Jensen from the high school and Stacy Waltman from our elementary media specialist both received that award and I think that's that's a great honor for those folks and then uh it's going to be announced if it hasn't come out in the paper already that we have two AAA students Awards which is just topnotch and that's gunar hardinson and N NAA wle so we're proud of the proud of our students uh a little bit I I've told each of you during our discussions and and during this whole process about my belief that communication is critical and you're going to be receiving a lot of communication from me not not necessarily um um specific to what the district's doing but it can be broader also um legislative updates National Education updates um just work that's being done to improve uh schools and communities anything that comes across my desk that uh helps us determine the direction that we want to go uh you'll be receiving and it's not just a school school board but I'll be sharing that with the principls and with the with the cabinet to make sure that we're all getting that information as we we make our decisions uh it's tough to make a quality decision if you don't have all the information and then we can be the judge of what direction we want to go so that's my report and happy to be here you all right let's start with our school board member reports and we will at the end we put a separate line item for the the leadership conference say something time or just I'll start over to my left with Gary all right thanks Dave um for the last month I I would say activities and meetings uh related to securing inter room superintendent Ken to be here took up some good amount of quality time um attended the pre-conference session and the sessions at msba and I we'll report on that separately had a one-on-one with uh superintendent Ken it was a very good and candid conversation I'd like to encourage us to bring um our two AAA students here to so we could recognize them just hear from them and their uh activities and maybe plans for the future just seem like outstanding young people so and on a final note I just like to do a shout out to the students and the advisers involved with the alajasa every issue of this thing is getting better and better each time so I just want to express my appreciation to the folks involved with alahas it's been just very very good so I appreciate that thank you all right I'll save my comments about the msba conference for that part of the meeting um but I did attend earlier this month an all staff training um at the high school Mary Joe was there with me it was um the presenters were from Education Minnesota there were two attorneys and they talked about ethical expectations of the staff and how to avoid ethical and legal issues um it was really interesting I'm glad glad we went there was a lot of emphasis on um never physically intervening with students who are misbehaving and I thought that was um it was frustrating to hear about but good for me to understand better you know why things are the way they are so I hope I hope that there'll be a little bit more support from the state level for our staff in those areas but it was it was good for us to be there I think thank you uh yes Angie just mentioned I was in that meeting as well um it was a good good refresher I think for veteran teachers um Tre can speak more on it as a from a teacher perspective you know it's it it was kind of just bam you know after Christmas break or the holiday break first thing was code of ethics how not to lose your job is what teachers were telling me so a little bit jarring but it w it was good um and that was the only uh committee I attended thanks you okay um I've been as always actively involved in what's going on with the Education Foundation since I'm the person that checks the mailbox regularly and uh Foundation uh under goes Seasons this is the season of scholarship recipients submitting their transcripts so that our treasur can send checks to the schools uh that they attend and so that means I get to look at their transcripts and I think it's safe to say that somebody must be doing a pretty good job of educating these students because their transcripts are impressive very impressive and that's that's always kind of a fun thing to do and review and uh and then acknowledge them by sending checks to their schools so that's about it thanks you um I to attended the code of ethics training at the high school I came in late so I probably didn't see you guys but um that was a really it was great to be there and to hear what the teachers are hearing and then also just the reminders uh about um what Angie shared and then I too with Gary attended a lot of meetings as it relates to um um the transition of superintendent so uh it's nice to to be back and and Ms I'll share with MBA uh what we heard there too H just a couple things um first of all thank you to everyone as we are transis which is different difficult uh when you get to be my age sometimes change isn't any fun so um it's nice and we can uh take it maybe a little bit slower but we don't want to take it uh too slow or too fast we want to make sure we do a a good transition and again thanks to Dave for being here and taking care of our district um who mentioned the way the way it is I you know we we were able to and and and I'm just give a little bit of the msba um uh conference a lot of us were able to go to part phase one and phase two again and thanks Tanya and aeny Ashley but for oh there you are over in the corner for being there I hope uh you picked up some good points but it's kind of interesting especially we get into phase to and Paul was up here talking a little bit before the meeting just to kind of understand that you don't want to deal with school Finance if you don't have to let let the professionals do it but it's so different and so liquid and so moving but just that opportunity again to see it I hadn't been up there for a couple years uh we want to make sure we always support our new newest board members but uh that was a lot of fun but but again kind of like a lot of things in education that I have to remember from my side it's so different than business but we try to make it as much like business so it can run as efficient as possible you know how is government efficiency well you can decide that yourself uh other than that just a number of meetings getting everything set up for Dave and as you know where it's going to be just uh piling on a few more meetings as we go here starting already on Friday um and again gunar and NAA you know congrat congratulations and Gary a good deal we'll make sure they get in here to um honor them so with that let's go to I think we do the teacher first so go ahead if you'd like to fill us in sure um my name is terce netzer I teach at the high school and I'm an instructional coach there as well um I feel like I could talk forever about the amazing things happening at the high school but I was asked specifically to talk more about the professional development because we've been having a lot of opportunities and across the district I think staff are very grateful for all of the opportunities um just personally I feel respected by having the school board be aware of our needs and listening to those needs and doing things to help us so some of the things that have been going on a couple of you mentioned that ethics training I thought that was really fascinating especially to have the legal perspective and real cases that have gone forward so I felt that it was really practical information and insightful it's the kind of information we present to our new staff at the beginning of the year but I think it was smart to include the entire District in on that information um so I appreciated that uh I also heard from across the district that staff really appreciate the opportunity to work in their teams um I think the general consensus is that we want people to be on the same page teaching the same content having paired assessments and so having the time felt respectful and people did do that and appreciated that at the high school we've been working on instructional cycles and it was so great to have a block of time with your your teammates working on your content looking at the standards and trying to make sure students are at the center of what we do uh we also recently had implicit bias training in the secondary level and that was really fascinating just to think about how we approach our jobs and how we see the students in front of us and as a theme I would say the the work we've been doing doing in these professional development times have been student centered work and as an instructional coach as a teacher that's where I want to put my focus so I appreciate that that's what we're doing um the alc specifically said they've been working on connecting with students and building student motivation which I think is a great mission for the alc uh that's how they've spent a bit of their time and then I also heard from a lot of Staff members that being able to build in relicensure components and meeting the Practical needs that staff have to keep their jobs uh to keep teaching for us was really productive and helpful um and also a good retention strategy and an attractive thing for for people we look to hire good afternoon everybody um so there are a few things I would like to share with you firstly that on Saturday um there was solo and Ensemble for our Orchestra choir and band and they received four out of the 11 best Insight Awards which is really exciting um and we've also announced our spring play Princess and the pee um and I really encourage you all to go and watch uh we will be hosting a robotics competition on February 15th again please go and watch um and our dance team hosted a showcase um yesterday and it was really good um so I wish them best on their season and then both boys and girls hockey host at home tonight so really excited for them basketball it's nice are able to do this mspa leadership conference feedback so I will switch sides of the room I knew You' love that that 20 he gave me yeah come on come on so all right fire away yeah so I had the opportunity to attend um phase one and two and the pre-conference um which was on negotiations and so I just to recap some um just the the theme of msba this year was Inspire and connect and I feel like we were able to connect and I felt inspired so I think well done right um so some of the takeaways from phase one is the governing you know reminders um with student achievement for all um and then uh just what the Board responsibility is and the superintendent responsibility to each other is and you know we the board we saw that diagram often in the training was um setting expectations and parameters evaluate establish and adopt is the board is what the board does and and the superintendent really does providing leadership and supervision develop Implement and monitor and so if we continue that Continuum of of work together they talk they talked about the friendly what the friendly fence that's what it was the friendly fence between that and so sometimes you we might find ourselves going across the fence but remembering that cycle so um and then um we talked a little bit about the 200 policies which guide our work as board members and um the difference between debate and deliberate and I I thought that was an interesting conversation and and uh leaning on the side of of deliberating and more of exploring Common Ground um uh collabor collaborating and searching for strengths um phase two was really more about that those laws and finance so thank you Paul I we should probably thank Paul beginning of every meeting right um for the work he does in finance but the thing that I took away there was um around around Finance were the five fund balance types the restricted the committed the assigned the nonspendable and the unassigned and and the importance of knowing which bucket those what funds are in which bucket is so important for us to have a a great understanding of that um and this idea that just because our fund balance the report of our fund balance that doesn't necessarily mean that's what we have in the bank so because of of encumbered expenses and things like that um so moving on to negotiation because you're right I don't I want to leave some right yeah um let's see um we there we we received great um I guess the takeaway from the negotiations um that's a pre-conference on Wednesday night from 7 to 9: definitely could have been a full day on on negotiation but just the checklist that's available to us as a resource I hadn't really heard about that and the importance of best practices of having a board member at the table during negotiations and I think we're I'm in agreement that we should go back to thatti practice and so looking forward to having those discussions and then um I the one um session during the conference that the keynote was great I I don't have any notes down here but he was anytime a keynote starts with playing the tenor saxophone it's going to be a really good time right so we had a great great message there and a lot of energy and great way to start out to the conference the one that I attended that I'll be working with Sheila and others and Tanya um hopefully they'll want me to help with that but we heard from North Branch they are a sponsor for Deed on Apprentice teacher Apprentice in action and it's really that idea of growing our own and and investing as a district and in growing our own um and they have areas of math um Career and Technical education special ed and um our early childh and early childhood I think we would focus on and maybe early childhood too but yeah um you know my interests are more around those math and and special ed and and uh CTE instructors and they are they had a call to action at the end of the the session to partner with other districts so um we can discuss that um it's a fall launch of 2025 and there's you know matching funds and um it's called the the track teacher registered apprenticeship cohort so um I'd be happy to talk to those who are in that lane that's what I and I I just really appreciated getting to know everyone just a little bit better and and um and really excited about the direction we're headed based on the conversations we had and I thank everybody for attending um I I really enjoy going to conferences like this I along history of that U uh when I was in the classroom I was involved in both English and math excuse me and um they both had wonderful councils of Minnesota teachers of mathematics and Minnesota teachers of English um were wonderful experiences and very organized along the same lines where you have a cafeteria of all sorts of delicious subjects that you could investigate by going to various workshops and finding out what other people do that really works well and uh it's an inspiring invigorating experience the kidos note speakers are always good they that's that's why they get hired and they sort of provide book ends for the U for the event and the uh the first one um the one that that U that Kim referenced uh began his presentation with a I believe was an elto sax the tener has the Little Neck all right okay we won't fight about it um he has uh but his message was wonderful and and uh it's interesting because I can relate the essence of what they are saying to so many thoughts and and ideas that I've encountered over the years and the the first uh and they were very similar the fir and it seemed to me like their their um presentations would have been more appropriate for a group of teachers because they were speaking to teachers and teaching and that's kind of always what I considered me to be uh and and uh and I just love their ideas the the boy with the sax uh uh his message was essentially we teach pretty much who we are it's it's great to know something about the subjects that you teach but essentially you're teaching who you are and and if you pull it off you you can succeed in your students deciding that I want to be like that and essentially what that means is I want to be as fascinated with that subject as the teacher appears to be uh and boy this this fellow was really excited about what he did and he was uh he had he had so many accomplishments that are around the entire country the uh the uh last speaker the keynote speaker at the end of the conference uh you can Su up his ideas with the knock knock jokes you know knock knock who's there I am and then it gets very philosophical because the next line is I am who and that's a good question uh and and that that's the essence of deciding what kind of an approach an educator should have who are you who are you and who you are is pretty important and it's and it's and it's pretty visible too so those two have very similar ideas um the uh conference the workshops that I went to and the round table discussions that I went to um essentially dealt with AI and I and the uh the chair of the uh of the board of directors mentioned something that had occurred to me too because she was a farm girl and uh her her understanding of AI was entirely so different from what its application is here uh and U so I I went to a number of sessions on on that and and the use of cell phones and when I when I when I you know made the decision to pursue those workshops I was pretty well convinced that the uh information that was going to be presented to us would be uh something to do with how do we deal with AI I mean h how do we overcome that that that nasty threat that's invaded all of our lives and what I discovered is that we did come to the conference to bury hell but to praise hell uh because the the message was not not get rid of Technology but but use it and I know Gary became a very big fan of oh yeah he's he's he's hooked on artificial intelligence that that will do things for you like U you know just about write a paper on John dun's poetry and whatever uh and and that's not something that we should be afraid of it's something that that we should embrace and and every every uh progress that human beings H have made I've discovered this a long time ago is remarkable can is capable of doing remarkably good things including technology and artificial intelligence of course along with that there is pretty much always an equal and opposite potential potential for bad things so we need to to as Educators make use of the good things and deal and and and deal with with the bad things and the other sessions that I went to uh since that's a task that we are about to to uh uh discover is uh the the superintendence uh contracts uh relationships between board staff public with superintendent and and U pretty good information there to all right well my first uh this was my first conference and obviously great um but see in both sides because for years I've been going to the Minnesota Association of school administrators which is superintendent and directors so now hearing it from the school board side and it just it's full circle now um and it was great and the message that you would hear in not one session but many and I I think we were all hearing it is there should be no surprises and communication between the superintendent and the board and I thought that was great um also I didn't know um Cher clatt you're such a big deal up there he's one of the directors for the msba association and congrats to Gary and Angie who also got awards for their attendance in all their classes so so it's pretty uh it was fun to to see all that and to be with everybody so so very good classes um I went to a class on management um because the only person we do manage is a superintendent and you know the msba their recommendation is that we do do annual evaluations and midyear check-ins especially for newer superintendents um I did talk to superintendent kenz about that and he had told me he had annual evaluations so I think we're all on board of felt good where we're going as we move forward um School Finance Tiffany Gustin Gustin who's with the msba wow one of the probably best speakers I've ever seen on finance and you walk away she's a great resource great speaker um and I did talk to her afterwards and I did talk to Paul about the Durban too because the concern with that direct certification for free and reduced effective e you know fiscal year 26 what does that mean for Albert Lee so I did talk to her about that and concern is you know if we have declining enrollment we know we'll have declining budget as well as if we just go to direct certification that could that will be a big issue for Albert Lee so hopefully the legislature has some solution moving forward but um so that was my maybe only concern with Finance of where we're going um the other one kind of Kim mentioned this one the school policies that was great Kim Dave and I were in that one and I thought was a great discussion about we're not all going to agree all the time but the one thing we do each individually have a responsibility to is have our words spoken here and then we walk away and give the superintendent One Direction so um that that um training seminar whatever we want to call it I thought was great as far as yeah we're we're going in the right direction as the board so I felt good so um that's it thank you right um well my favorite part um as it has been every year is has been visiting with you guys and getting to know you all better um it's really the only time of year where we're interacting outside of this setting which is just kind of a natural feeling to me so it's nice to just Bond a little bit I think there was probably some leftover tension from last month's events and I feel like we made big steps in working through that and coming together and I feel really good about where we're at and where we're moving um as as you guys had mentioned also um my favorite Workshop was one on Robert's Rules which Mary Joe was at also I have a cheat sheet here this will be very handy um I didn't know that there was parliamentary competitions out there but they had a group of students who were presenting to us and um showing us how to behave how not to behave it was very interesting we learned the difference between tabling em motion postponing definitely and postponing indefinitely so things like that definitely something I want to study closer um otherwise one thing I learned I did a round table on utilizing board book and one option that we could do if we want to would be if we had our devices here we can actually vote on our devices and have the results go up on the on screen for everybody so I don't know if that's something that we would be interested in trying but it's it's an option so that's what I've got thank you some things that were left unsaid Neil and drove with Angie and I and I can tell you that we did not have any moments of silence for that uh time period it was and I wasn't talking yeah oh I see so it was good um I also I'm I spent some time with the superintendent from Sock Rapids Brad Bergstrom they worked with you and I got a fishing report on malax 7in Walley and the bottom of the lake is covered with zebra muscles so sad report um I would also say my perception we had a couple staff members Ashley and Tanya were there and my my opinion of that evolved I I think it was a good idea that they were there my impression is you've got a lot out of the conference so I would like to explore that as we approach next year maybe a couple administrators could join us I think it's m money well spent if to have some of our uh administrators there there are sessions that would appeal um and if we value professional development to me that would be part of their professional development so I want to throw that in there the speakers uh Mickey Smith Jr was the first one the thing that I left there he was the sax guy but um he talked about sound your sound and obviously he's a musi musician but he talked about the fact that all of our kids in our school districts have their own unique sound uh which would be what their strengths are and and it's our job to tap into their sound and help reinforce it and help it grow and so that was a big message I got from Mickey Smith Jr the other other gentleman was Hamish Brewer um tattooed up school superintendent Dave were not encouraging you to go that route but uh I think the outside of his office had uh artwork that you might see on the side of a railroad car but a very unique personality and he's a turnaround expert on school districts so he was fascinating to listen to uh some other sessions some roundtables was one what happens to students after they leave um your school and that was um a person associated with Minnesota Department of B and sleds the sled system I'm assuming we know and we use it but there just a wealth of unique reports you can get from that on how our students are performing but also how what are they doing after they graduate so I plan to dive into that um on my own a couple others were a superintendent's contract statutes contracts Provisions uh to me that was and Mary Joe was there I it was it was good to me it was an affirmation that we have proceeded in the right way and we're and we're and we're proceeding in the right direction on our on our hire for a new superintendent uh also oh a very good one from Water Town School District um I've already talked to Jeff about this they have an incredible comprehensive Career techical Education Program they even did a referendum to support with the equipment and it's uh in it's helping them maintain their enrollments improve their graduation rates so I like to do a tour so I'll follow up on that uh maybe a little bit later but that was uh very good then I would say the other the pre-conference thing that kind of changed my life was this thing on artificial intelligence I know my students use it I'm teaching at Riverland this semester and I'm ready to start getting essays that are probably fueled by artificial intelligence and the the sad part is the guy that told us that presented said that the detection software to pick up if something's written with AI is not very reliable but just to give you an example I got was it chat GPT okay I got jat chat GPT and I asked it I want a 500 word essay on the achievements of Jim President Jimmy Carter with three embedded Jimmy Carter quotations well before you can even hardly hit the button here's the essay with the with with the sources and I'm thinking my goodness oh I did another one on this lesson plan they said you could do lesson plans with it so I did a lesson plan on the development of the political party system in Minnesota which is a f fascinating history of the farm labor party and again in micros seconds I have a lesson plan oh my goodness and so now I'm scared going in the spring semester of what my student will be doing because that was one of the risks of AI even though it this wonderful thing um the fact that it does not it it is tempting to be academically dishonest so I I go with some trepidation about what's going to happen this semester but overall a very very good um conference and I also would uh Echo the fact that it gave us a chance to connect and and have very Frank conversations and I think we left there better than when we came as far as the school board thank you my conference is a little bit different than everyone else's I've got some additional duties um which is kind of interesting that was my last year was like which door do I go to and where do I find my way out of this place and this year was actually leading different rooms and uh different hosting rooms and making sure everything was fine I even uh got in there and we can appreciate it more here but uh uh Neil you weren't in that one the mshsl put a little bit of a knife into msba and so when I got to my meeting at the end of a conference I put a little bit of a knife and mshsl so we had a little bit of fun with that but uh it was very interesting um thank you to everyone that was able to come to my district director meeting um feels a little different but I'll tell you what the whole front row all had either red or blue matching jackets on thank you to Dave langaro and Lori for that I got mine on a little later after I could cover up my msba gear but that was great it's it's it's always fun um to to do that and this is my second year I've got one more year and then I guess I'll you know I I was really selling it hard for somebody else to step up and one G from Austin said well don't you like doing I said well I kind of do she said well keep doing it said well I might well see how it goes so but anyway it was interesting um at the end of the conference I also um brought up as you mentioned there's such a conglomerate of meetings roundtables discussions that you can go to there's just not enough time and I said I don't want to add a day but I want to add a workshop so maybe going from an hour to 45 minutes to a presentation and 10 minutes instead of 15 minutes in passing so I gave that to uh Katie claner who's in charge of it so we're kind of looking forward to maybe we get one more or maybe one more round table but the problem of the round tables is there about four people deep on the table so it's hard to hear everything and it's hard especially for the speakers to really connect so but anyway it uh was a great conference I had the um I did get to present an award some awards here and and I'm hoping that's something that we maybe look at the next year or two because um it a lot of our board members now are getting at the director level and all that at the state and I think that's a neat thing to have the real reason why I decided to to work for the district director's position for Southeast Minnesota no one from Albert Le's ever done it so it's time for someone to do it I'm not going to be around long enough to be president of msba and that's fine because that's a four-year commitment of a a lot of meetings and just just a lot of time but but again it was great but with that I was very blessed to have Mickey Smith Jr sat down with me for lunch so we got a chance to talk one on-one and what an uh you know a genuine original person uh even at the end of the conference when everyone was leaving and I was sitting there talking some of you may me remember Jim mitton that used to teach here okay I got to run into Old Jim and here comes Mickey walking by with his black hat on and his red uh coat on and his saxophone in his hand like he was going to speak and uh so we got a chance to connect there a little bit but a lot of fun Hamish you know again in years past we've always had a bad weather so everybody goes home early well this year we locked out and we got we had two quality speakers like you mentioned should almost been a Teachers Conference because great teachers and administrators but anyway that was a lot of fun just I'll just going to highlight one program that I I happen to get to host and introduce and it was from Austin and it was one of those when I first looked at it in the book ah I'm gonna push that one to the side you know me Dave and uh but it was they call it Packer pride and it's something that they decided was that in place when you were there it wasn't in place when we began the conversation okay and what a neat little program they they saw a need to to get kids they they saw a need to get some graduation r R up they saw a need to have better attendance and accountability so they basically have now it's a PE teacher over there but they've got a teacher that's in charge of and of course they got an administrator that's working but they set when the when the kids are freshmen they set a plan up with them which is something I talked about my first year on the board here if someone wants to do CTE someone wants to go to work after school someone wants to go to college it'd be nice to have that so and then one teacher follow them all the way through and they do grade checks and all that and they found some uh some real good results with uh I forget the numbers but uh they've got about half half as much uh the students missing school so anyway they they found some and the graduation rates up on these kids and again they followed them through I think this is about their first year all the way through if I remember too but anyway a great program something that uh that they really eny joy and they had some uh a lot of a lot of different people from school talking about it so anyway that was a a program and and afterwards uh we I talked with our president our now past president we talked about AI Neil I thanked her for bringing that up because it was the way I think about uh when it comes to Agriculture and education too um other than that I don't uh have anything else I just again want to mention gunar and NAA
