##VIDEO ID:ZVaF_gPae1k## e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e you I e can you hear me okay thank you Erica no they say I know they out of the country so it's going to be kind of hard um if we did not receive an excuse via email it has to be recorded that you're online or if you're excused then it's considered unexcused so if I didn't receive it or lawren didn't receive it I just want to double check that the excused parties or council members is Emma which I receive yet set I receive Maria V Loos I will have to double check yep right all right all right moving forward we are going to who who it's so funny we gonna do yet again our annual meeting because we don't have a president um for 2024 2025 and since we already know the script in regards to the president and the duties of the president um are there any nominees for president Parsons do I accept that presidency second so I want it it's the question um at this time I'm going to deny that um at this at this time I do not accept that nomination any more nominations for president no nobody wants to be president let go around then I should have said yeah roll call yet again someone asked if I could do the roll call um Emma alada is excused Angie present Arena yenis set she is excused Erica Michelle Amy GMO [Music] is online um we received um an excuse but I have to review that and Kate wheeler and I miss myself Berita pres thank you so much okay back to president any nominations for presidency no someone please make a mo into table the presidency for next month since we don't want to move forward with the presidency thank you Arena yes thank you Arena and Kate for moving the motion to table it for our September meeting calendar and business meeting um moving forward on the agenda um there was a discrepancy in regards to moving forward with the annual elections um because we didn't have the presidency we moving forward for um vice president and if there are any nominations for a vice president which let's just move forward because um someone said that we needed to do the vice presidency seat again even though I'm sitting on it so if anybody who wants to be president I never gave up my seat somebody will have to run against mebody want to be vice president no yes I love the concession let's just fold in let's just move on for the year we like what we have right now let's move forward yeah yeah we want to do real work this is bogus um is it okay for more clarification for next month please make a motion to table the vice president's seat for September anyone and then we'll get clarification if we need to do so in the future yeah nobody want to run against me okay okay easy peasy anybody wants to make the table okay I thank you Irena someone second that motion Michelle H seconds that motion the vice presiden seat the only seat that is solidified is the treasurer yes um secretary are we okay with the secretary yes Kate is our secretary that's what it is if somebody wants yes yes okay thank you so much that is yeah we do work I want to throw parties let's go the parties already no there's no nominations and just to be uniform can please someone make a motion to table the nominations with secretary seat for next month until we get more clarification in regards to the annual meeting Ira yes copy and paste please and the only reason why this I've gotten two expressions today that the annual meeting um we were supposed to do it all over again and there's a discrepancy in the bylaws and how the bylaws is being read I thought I made clarification is regarding a term and not a year um some people believe we needed to do the run all over again because it's a new year and not necessarily a new term oh no our council members council members and I'm just doing what I've been ask to do I don't want nobody beefing with me in the future no okay moving forward item number four review and approval of the minutes everybody's received a copy of those minutes um are there any corrections to the I added 11 council members to our letter head that we voted for in November or we missing is one and and that's the L and if the meeting minutes are clear and concise um someone please make a motion to edit and approve the minutes to July 23rd want please second Amy's motion thank you thank you so much Amy and Michelle for your motion to approve a edit the July 23rd minutes and make the necessary Corrections thank you so much look at the yummy part who's ready for the new school year no I'm not okay is you want your kids to go back um I'm not ready because I have a high school so I don't know what that is so I'm not ready for that but um we would like to hear the superintendent report at this time and what we will have in store in the future for 2024 2025 and we have our Deputy superintend oh no we two we Double Trouble yeah we have our Acting Superintendent Mary doy here and unmute myself all right so good evening everyone um as uh our acting president um noted I'm Mary Doyle our Acting Superintendent U one of the deputies for Community School District 10 I am joined by Gina mki Mitchell my colleague um we're really happy to be here with you all this evening um and so we'll begin so as you know in District 10 it is our um history that we always begin with the mood meter so we'll uh we'll talk about that quickly um we'll then uh do a brief introduction of some of our newest Lighthouse team members we'll talk a little bit about how we are preparing for the opening of the school year uh we will mention our new teacher event and then we will end with the burrow wide middle and high school summer graduations uh that are happening it's a very very busy week for sure so just to start um we always like to begin asking you how you're feeling um you can share why you're feeling that way and um if you want to change where you find yourself on the mood meter um then we always encourage folks to think about the ways that they can shift where they are to be where they want to be so is there anyone who would like to um share here where you find yourself this evening please Pleasant that's a great word so it's in the yellow yes um satisfied satisfied okay grateful beautiful Okay so we've got um you're all kind of in that toward the pleasantness quadrant so anyone else yellow okay um all right so um again when we when we talk about this in our schools the really important piece is that all emotions matter um and that emotions can change right and we have to think about the ways that we um that we sort of interact with our emotions to be able to shift them when we want to right sometimes we want to be in the quadrant we're in but if we don't then we know we have an opportunity to make a shift all right um I'm going to start with our um New York City Public Schools mission statement uh we we talked about this last month and you'll continue to hear it um and then we'll just I'll quickly ask if there are some words that resonate with you so I'll I'll begin our mission at the New York City Public Schools is to ensure that each student graduates on a pathway to a rewarding career and long-term Economic Security equipped to be a positive force for Change and just really briefly um if there are any words here that resonate with you can you just kind of um I want to say unmute you're in person you don't need to unmute can you just share with us um the word that you would want to highlight and perhaps why word or phrase yes Miss Parsons Economic Security that is ma [Music] because young people to on the right path to success and usually they don't know what excited that the schools are able to step in Hope gu it's almost like taking PSA you kind of like know where you want to go but that's 11 and you already know you want to get out the house and goge but nth grade 10th grade really thinking whater Choice usually and you tend to get Stu and transitioning and Middle School least that we have Aviation they want to be in the Olympics and we have all these great Sports and IDE then they already when they go into high school I know what sure thank you anyone else yeah Miss Gonzalez I'm sorry um just from here anything that sticks out to you they broke it down but I'm saying career because I [Music] mean push to get sure and then something that fulfills you absolutely yes Miss know I'm hoping it get better and it like it does get better every year you know but it's still a lot of kids aren graduating it's nothing POS know so we got that change that for them so they can move forward the grad absolutely so I I lift this because um this is some we do this at our principal meetings we have conversations with our team um anytime the chancellor is in our presence he's always lifting the mission and I think it's important you um if you think about you don't know where you're going unless you know where your destination what the desired destination is right so we just want to lift that so um we encourage you really as you're talking to other parents um to lift the mission statement it's right on the the Doe's website um and really even have conversations with your kids about it everything that you mentioned here would be a wonderful conversation to have at home so we encourage you many interations because change a good thing and there's so many things that's a change like you going from elementary to change but it's not aggressive where like you know student can have anxiety or awkward right because it's okay like it's normal to have change it's normal to have variety options and I think that also in the generation for Millennials and like that's a huge change but also a good change so it's just word change is kind of an acceptance because I think people we think oh everything has to be Universal but not everything has Beal we could just make changes things that kind of tailor to the student you know you don't have to be this particular person you can who you and that's your idti also like things change all the time right went a pic where students are going through one moment to another good or bad and we're we're allowing change to be okay for students I think you know for whatever leadership role you are you're allowing that change to like grow and so I think the word change like it doesn't it doesn't really put anybody in a bad spot it's it's just like anybody can use that opportunity yeah well thank you Camille I went forward to the next slide so as you know um our uh mission and vision um of Community School District 10 uh the vision being to be a beacon fueled by rigorous instructional practices safe and nurturing School environments and collaborative communities that illuminate the path towards college careers and beyond for our leaders of Tomorrow much of which you you you all spoke about this even and our mission I won't read the entire thing but we think about leveraging professional development investing in Innovative practices galvanizing and developing collaborative teachers highlighting and continuing to partner with families uh such as you all this evening and teaching students parents and communities to um effectively and proactively integrate uh culturally responsive social emotional and academic learning strategies um with the ultimate goal of supporting creating supportive environments and advancing Equity as I mentioned we have a number of new team members um and so this is um this is our entire team um and so I'll just highlight a few folks many of these are familiar names from from um the the past um and so we do have uh Dr sain abidan um from last year she's started actually as our director of multilingual Learners midyear and so we'll we'll highlight her uh we just had a new member of our team our Ela implementation specialist her name is berki Lugo she started with us just yesterday so she is part of phase two the uh New York City reads and will be helping us to use the implementation tool to Monitor and support our schools with the implementation of um hmh into reading and then we have um interventionists we're really fortunate this year to have three new members on the Lower leftand Side who will be joining us they'll be starting with us just next week and that will be Kimberly Pendleton Marian Hassen France and tamarama um raran and they will be joining us they'll be assigned to Schools they're teachers on assignment and they will be able to support so we will as we do with all of our decisions be using data to make decisions about how best to support our um students in schools and so um we just wanted to highlight those members of our team who just joined us yes both actually very excited about that yeah um and then we did have one member of our team who moved on to um a different position in another school district so our uh second 3sl that's specialized student support lead for special education uh we have a new member who will be joining us hopefully in the coming weeks and then We'll advise you of of that person's name we'll move forward um for the past uh roughly week and a half our team in order to support our schools around school opening uh has been going through to do what we uh have termed the walkthroughs and they do a walk of the buildings with the custodian and often members of the administrative team and they really look for all of those um pieces that we want to be solidified and beautiful for the opening of school um they complete a checklist and any uh remaining issues are lifted to the leadership team so that we can then escalate them to to ensure that schools are prepared and ready for the first day and just reminding everyone on the call that that first day is indeed Thursday September 5th 2024 we want everyone to be there or be square uh we're really excited we were just talking to um uh our team today thinking about you know how we know of some of the the really wonderful things that principles and administrative teams do to welcome students back and that always makes us really excited and linked on the bottom just for your reference is the calendar for New York City public schools and just for everyone on the call we wanted to make sure that you were aware it is posted on the Doe's website in a multitude of languages so if you have a friend a neighbor um anyone who would benefit from it being in many many languages please do refer them to the doe website all right we also have we're really excited for tomorrow we will welcome over 100 of the newest teachers to Community School District 10 and we will be um joining uh together at the beautiful Annex at uh 10x 340 uh there will be a half day of learning for all 100 of the newest teachers and these are just some of the things that we'll talk about we'll look at our DC goals we'll look at the work that we're doing uh with our district instructional leadership team our Mentor text this year is Get Better Faster by Paul bambr santoo we'll also look at the Danielson framework for teaching I'm sorry there we go sorry um the Danielson framework for teaching we'll also look at the seed framework which we've talked about before that is the social emotional and academic development framework um last year we were able to expose in cohorts all of our schools K and up this year we will be working with our preschools as well as doing a second round um to really use a capacity building model to get more uh teachers involved in using the framework and we'll also look at the the math shifts I wanted to lift a quote that I found to be incredibly powerful that teachers will find tomorrow which is for a teacher succeeding early is more than a predictor of the trajectory of his or her career um it's a matter of immense urgency and that notion of urgency Miss Hayne speaks to what you were talking about in terms of graduates right it speaks to um what students are selecting to do longterm in their lives it speaks to how they find a rewarding career it speaks to their ability to engage in um and and deal with change right so everything that you all surfaced in the mission um that's the job of a good teacher and so um we're really excited to be able to to embark on this adventure with new teachers tomorrow and then in the afternoon we will welcome um the Elementary new teachers there's just over 70 of them to remain with us where we will um be greeted by coaches from hmh uh that is the um the vendor of our new reading program into reading and those uh those uh coaches will support our newest teachers and our team will also join in as part of phase two of New York City reads uh we also have this week as well as I mentioned it's a very busy week we have our summer graduations so we will be um celebrating graduates from middle and high school this week at Bronx High School of Science we just wanted to share with you what the the invitation and the tickets look like um and we have um you know Gina will be there our Deputy superintendent um mki Mitchell just got a little T tight um and to support down middle school graduates and we have about a 100 of our middle school graduates and about 10 of our high school graduates um some of the schools did ceremonies or or um you know programs at their own s site so this is the borrow wide one so we're excited to participate and to celebrate their accomplishments tomorrow at Bron science um next we just wanted to reshare um a message from Chancellor B do you want to do this one sure this is um an email that we copied from Chancellor Banks just as a reminder to parents about some things that they can do to get ready for September 5th for next Thursday right um so reminder to create your Nisa accounts this is how schools get in touch with you with critical announcements throughout the year and if you already have an Anisa account please confirm to make sure that all your information is accurate health forms and immunizations and they have some some um hot links there Live Links rather that you can click on so that you can see the requirements Transportation um this is something new for this year uh uh it's called the student Omni om n y card I haven't heard the acronym said out loud so I'm going to guess it's Omni um which is replacing the student Metro cards okay and this is going to offer more free rides and greater flexibility for when our students can use them they can be used four times daily at any time time any day of the year 365 days so this means free rides for our students on weekends holidays days off from school summertime okay so this gives um greater accessibility free I don't want to call it the metro card I'm going to call it the Omni card okay um the next bullet just talks about different ways where you can follow New York City public schools on social media to see all the amazing things that are happen with our students throughout the entire city in their schools uh there's a back to school checklist that's also a live link there and um on behalf of Chancellor Banks and Acting Superintendent uh Mary Doyle and district 10 we we want to thank you for supporting encouraging and preparing our students for returning to school um September 5th is a week away and we're really excited to open our doors and welcome all of our babies our little babies our big babies welcome everybody back yes you have a question sure one okay thank you thank you okay um and we just wanted to say thank you um we are always appreciative for your partnership and your support and we're happy to have been able to spend this time together with you um this evening uh and wishing you a wonderful rest of the summer before we get ready for show time yeah um people G um since District town has three high schools you have some Middle School e graders Al one um do you have aach so unfortunately Community School District 10 does not have a coach from central to support our high school math implementation specifically around the algebra one regions however we do work closely with um our new superintendent of high schools Marcel Dean and I'm sure we're going to be leveraging some professional learning with his team but no Community School District tend did not get a designated person to support the high school implementation of our understanding is that the high school districts did and which is why you're mentioning um superintendent Deans I had a te who was like super super like initiative bring Al from E grade so that they're prepared in high school and then I had heard that other principl interested because they that there are some students are very but they're very talented in Ma and to to expose them early in Middle School especially that change part um it's kind of you know interesting to to up some students that one area what that great question um there has been some um media talking about the New York States scores that came out and Citywide it's been AOW in some are so it's still embargoed so it's not releasable yet you'll you'll get the probably at our next meeting that's when we would be be doing kind of a state of the district and a recap of the New York State assessments but while it's still in bargoed we can't share anything because I just um I lot of parents feedback that and I guess it's also varies because at some schools some parents feel like there's a lot of assessment through this school year and lesser I don't know really fun means but they feel like because students are PR so much during the school year when it comes to testing time the students tend to feel overwhelmed and parents I know you have said it before don't choose opting out as like opting out but I do feel like with the last few years as test as parents feel like they don't really want to do too much shift towards the test scores because there's this quotequote um how you know the state possibly now can score teachers on how well students are doing on test so you know I tell parents like you can take a driver license take take a lot of test and child test be like this is end like take it and see but I think some families feel like it's more obligation not like to test the teacher how well they're teaching I don't know because I yeah but feel like the med a lot of a lot of mix messages out there so I was just curious to like that data because yeah so we'll definitely we'll definitely be sharing the data in September uh it should be well released by then um the other thing that I would um mention and I don't Gina if it's okay for me to um oh am I still sharing you stopped sharing that's and that's that's okay um I I don't know if it's okay because it's sort of a personal story but my conversation with your daughter sure so Gina has a a rising third grader and I happen to be in her presence and she was talking about how she's going into a testing year and our conversation is one that I would encourage many of you to have with your own children at home um what I said is that the the by taking the test it's not about catching a teacher that's not the goal the goal is to give us more information so that we can best support students and that's the conversation we had I said it's actually not about you it's it's really about how well we're doing in in supporting you as a learner right so if as we're getting this data our goal is to then disaggregate the data to be able to see where where we need to go as a district as schools as grades and as classrooms so that we can do the best that we can for students and that's the message that I would encourage all of you to share with your children with your communities with the teachers um and even in your conversation with administrators this isn't about um about a gacha for anyone it's really an opportunity for us to get more information so that we you know you know better you do better right to to quote Maya Angelou um and the more that we know the better job that we can do with educating our students and I'll just tell you Gina's daughter when I said that to her she was like really I don't know maybe maybe she went home and you know maybe later that day she was you know maybe a little nervous again I don't know but during our convers she was like oh really not about me okay well then we're good so I think that that's you know perspective is important right and and that reframing is really important and the more that we can can talk to students about to to take the pressure off with this idea of our job is to do the best for you we need to have more information in order to do that um and the state really has changed their language it's the the language is no longer refus us the language is um excuse me it's not opt out the language is refusal right because that's what they're essentially when you're saying that you don't want to participate you're saying you refuse and I think that language is is very different it's very different to say that you refuse to do something versus opting out right I can opt out of playing a game refusing has a different connotation to it and I think that language is really purposeful to to highlight um how it it's really the the goal of taking the tests is to give us the best information so we can do the best job for students and I think that's a really important piece and for many of our schools if that percentage of students refusing becomes too high schools lose funding and that's another piece that I think is really really important to be cognizant of yeah sure that um are like they listen to that right so they have that they absorve like you're saying the perspective of the parent sure because I know a family um that the student was I believe in first in second s second grade first second grade I remember and then um they heard a third or fourth grade um student that that said this is so hard so I think maybe going back to let's say for example the schools that have ruler or leader in me they can use for example like you're saying you know change um the the wording right instead of saying okay you're gonna have the you're gonna have a test you're gonna have you know state test but we don't say if it's hard you say oh this is challenging for example right so that way whenever whenever for example they already took the test right and then you know little first graders second graders they want to hear and if they hear them say oh this is challenging you're like oh so it's like a different perspective I'm up for the challenge right um so maybe having um I don't know I guess before the test or after or in in um in a place you know in like the beginning of school year middle school year you can choose and have the actual fourth graders fifth graders that or maybe the third graders that is the first time go go back to the second graders you know have an assembly and say um first I thought it was going to be so hard because I was in your shoes in the second grade and I thought that it was going to be like oh my God but now wow I actually learned something so a second grader oh my God they bre they can breathe and they can tell them that because I also have a rising third grader so I um my kids they were my my son came out of nowhere he was like he was he was at the end he was like I want to go to th I'm go to th are you excited I'm gonna take the T the St test and I was like who told you that students the students were talking about about it and I was like and I was like oh my God I know what the parent that had told me that felt I was like I was in her shoes I was like oh my God and I and then I remember what I did to help her I I told her you know I spoke to the students and I told them you know did you take it you know the siblings the siblings spoke to the to the second grader so then I use my own like tip and stuff and I used it for my child and I was like okay tell can you ask your siblings how was and they're like yeah it was challenging but it it was great it was like you breathe and nothing happens you know you take your time and then at the end you have lunch and then the next day you go back again it's it's it's like nothing no I love that and was like like you said it takes a little bit so maybe that can work for sure I love that idea because they don't because they they're I know as parents you could tell them but they're not really gonna they're or the teachers are not going to honestly listen to you unless from someone that actually went to it sure so that's like a very big connection sure no I love that I think that's a great idea for us to share thank you yeah because I was when I was I but now it's an option my son tried a couple to see where you at not the teacher where he was you know progress sure but what I did learn with the last one and I also told my daughter to do it for my grandkids little positive like like I put it on the and and I and I say good morning son and right before he'll go out the door say good morning I love you you got this I love that and I give him each one each day if to take test they took in May yeah the math was math was in may they did both of them I think it was just like little different index cards and each morning when he was sleeping didn't know I was writing something different but each night and sometimes I would just come up the head like you were the note fairy yeah I was the note fairy so while he's eating breakfast he'll look up and see a little index go and beautiful it over graduate without that's beautiful I don't care you'll always be my baby just to school they might be able to see it in their my school's account thank you how clear how clear is it going to be for the children I have a friend wondering how hard of a job so let me say um the schools really should not be having conversations about student about refusal it's not it's not an appropriate conversation to really be having because it is a refusal right it's saying that you're refusing to particip iate in a testing program that's been organized by the State Department of Education that being said as several of you know members on the uh the council have mentioned kids talk to each other and so we that's much harder to control I think the The Narrative around being you know to give you to give the school information on how best to support students is important one to even start having in your home casually now so that it doesn't when when your child encounters perhaps some of the opposite talk right they can say no no it's not not a big deal because it's really just to help the teachers to better help students um but teachers having conversations about um refusal is not an appropriate conversation to be having in the classroom I think it speaks to something Amy was talking about with change right in life we encounter all kinds of challenges and all kinds of changes and how we how we approach that can make all the difference in what the outcome is right you know there's like that old adage of the person who gets very like is very sick because of a paper cut versus the person who had a much more serious injury and they kind of are able to continue um perspective is really important and so being able to help children kind of contextualize um if it's a test or if it's any other challenge that they may have is is really important so so that's you know I I would encourage you to start having those conversations casually now like hey you know you're going to hear about this this year and and it's a great way for your teacher to get more information on the best ways that they can help students I would say um last year first year that I don't remember what grade but they started the testing on the computer um third grade third fth grade I think but at the end of the day I think sta was more nervous because having a test on computer during their day they didn't want any Tech issu sure um but the outcome that the students were was like they were really I mean this is their right techology devices yes so when it came to the Tas a lot of students was very happy that they felt confident how well they did or did not do um especially with using the device a lot of students who were not taking they were getting written ones on paper they like we wanted too so I think some of those like little changes not really inen but more like a new generation of like retrofitting students he a little bit more Bo like yes this is what is for us sure and encourages them to do it because even the high school kids who who took the SATs on the computer they're like yeah this is like this is a version I parent isal because they Ty you know and when it comes to signing something I like he has a sign everything how do I do this and I'm like you know con but I think what works for the generation I would say balance right like everything else you want children to have the exposure and the opportunity to use devices that they have become very comfortable and acclimated to at the same time we don't want to lose um the ability to sign your name right we don't want to lose the art of of writing we don't want to lose the art of reading a book in print um and so there's there's that that balance for sure so thank you all and um I'm not ready either I'm not ready either and I'm just happy that we are able to have this conversation at this time to get our minds ready because sometimes we wait for the last minute and then when everything start rolling then we are lost and we don't know what to do so but preparation preparation preparation is like the key to everything and um just to piggy back a little bit on everybody in to um they Tas I had a meeting at ms391 and some parents had some concerns in regards to opting out and I told them tell your child um practice make perfect and also study to show yourself approved you're not letting anybody know you're letting yourself know I know the work and I'm moving forward you're not in competition with anybody else it's just it's you you you letting yourself know I know the word and I think I I don't want us to have this generation of quitters or where they don't like something or they never tried something I have this option not to do it and I I think even with food I think sometimes when we look at stuff or look at different foods we like I don't like how that look I don't want it but you have to try it to to experience I think that's what we need this generation needs experience they need tolerance they need discipline and when you become an adult you're not a petty whining adult that wants to quit at every moment we want strong leaders that make good decisions at the end that will eventually take care of us because I want my kids to be able to help the community and take care of me I don't want them to quit no we don't want that so thank you yet again thank you so much in preparation for September 5th we are now at our president's report and members report I'mma just put those two together and um I don't have a president's report but um I know that I'm not too sure some members were um attended some things during the summertime I know um Miss Emma she went to um I believe was Burnside Avenue and she represented cc10 there not to about a week ago and she was able to um let the parents know that CC1 and district 10 is in the community and if they needed any help or any information to come on and just connect with us and I really appreciate Our treaser Miss Emma um for being um there at Burnside Avenue um we also um had I I didn't want to really talk about old news but okay let's talk about the um the few things that did happen this month because this was a very busy busy month I think we had like three or four things juggling at the same time so we did have the town hall meeting which was a success we had over 300 people on there and attending and interviewing the new superintendance at um cc10 um we had a lot of comments afterwards and then eventually about a few days after we had our c37 um interview with each um superintendent individually um yours truly was not at that meeting because I had an emergency that day but my constituents were on there and um I don't know if quickly anybody want to give any remarks in regards to that that c37 yeah that's supposed to be private yeah we could just say that they just told us that we're gonna hear about it um before the first day of school so that so be on the lookout that's all that okay very good very good yeah that's all we could say but the the process [Music] it really involves Community I think it's really important it because not just a major stakeholders but the community that has their toal tools should be an investor to who leads district and I think it's us having a really great super former superintendent um us the the 10 Community had high expectations so I would say you know like it was a very well-rounded forum and uh you know inexperience too as well because we don't just get like parents we got like parent coordinators we had teachers we had administrators who had their own inputs right so it's really important that um our our Forum also gave feedback to us yes consultation and for us to give our recommendation right so that's the purpose of who we're supposed to be on this Council as advisor and okay very good thank you so much council members for attending because I was not there um on that Tuesday but um I'm looking forward to working with the new superintendent whoever that person may be and then we just hopefully the future will be a brighter future behind the footsteps of Dr huller um also in August we had a special meeting and we reviewed the Chancellor's orders in regards to um our new members and three members were added to the cc10 and we're so glad those three members were um ratified that same day and they were notorized that same they affirmed that same day and they was able to move forward with some business and I'm so happy for our new council members Maria Lobos Estrella NG Justus for um joining our um our Council so we have a team of 11 which is great um for and which we need and all we are missing is an L parent right now um we also besides the town hall besides the c37 besides the special meeting and today's meeting we did so much throughout the year and we're looking forward to do great things in um district 10 and including um more parent engagement we want to see especially the first day of school we maybe we all do a form and ask the parents how was the first day of school I remember when last year we was on our little chat and we was talking about how I had transportation problems and how we would work on track yes that was good so maybe we'll send a form out through the district asking the parents how was the first day of school and that's how we will probably get our engagement right right right wow okay okay this survey is for us better yeah um I want since we are we are the biggest and I want more parents to know that we here to support them and I and yes that we are here for them and um transportation is big I know that's a big thing for me Transportation okay don't have supplies yes supplies like get it's so funny when you in when you're in school or elementary school middle school you know it's a supply list and then when you go to college you get a CLL a syllabus that's it's so funny so we we could ask parents if they got a syllabus or school a good idea earlier but then kids would um get more acclimated and get ready for the real world instead of waiting I just don't like that that last minute oh I didn't know and then out of frustration this is where anxiety comes in this is where frustration comes in right okay okay I put that if y'all think of any more things um we'll make like a Google form and then we send it out to everybody and put it in different languages and then we'll make that happen Okay we running into I'm so sorry um everyone online we are now going to go if there's any more member reports we could move forward to our public comments if there's any public comments online right now yes yeah a diverse group of people in the room teachers scho counselors [Music] versus parent leaders um everyone that engag because not just promoting like safety but also what I I really think about right like we hear about it but dive into like issues so like subway surfing Runing into the AG very this summer um there was also sex trafficking which isoc on our community um because you know our children are taught hopefully mostly that strangers are strangers right but we Liv in the generation that see like some children who do not have a stable family may rely on Shang so sex trafficking was a really big conversation as they like how do you recognize student not being an attend school um how do you address or engage with your adment in your school who do you go to because these are very very personal and very protective spaces because you don't want to expose of students information or expose what their family Dynamic is um um and you know they have brought in different agencies for this kind of conversation because you know it may not just be a teacher who's in this conversation with student it could be a school counselor nurse somebody who's a trusted person for the student or parent or even just a guardian because when we talk about Guardian could be an A or grandmother who is legally a parent so it was a well responsive Sumit really glad to go because I think us as just members of the community not just MERS here but members of the community can recognize these little signs of like how can I help even if it's just the littlest thing and what really caught me was like the techniques that they were teaching from n how to surveil an individual as young as nine 10 years old as they Shar be a subway surf right like you think about why on top of train such a thing but you do see it because right here on white two train little middle school kids or like you know hous with high school kids it's just the same to me but to recognize these things that actually happen and to be responsive like what do I do if I see these how do I kind of gravate this like this occurs and the amazing technology that nyp does like we as MERS of community also need to be a part of supporting finding police offic are you serious you think about you know the trains that are outside of high but they also said those kids even get on back train when so you know these are things that like as we to correct wow going shouldn't beain they may just because of it because if you play subway [Laughter] surf or been on a safety [Music] thing but I think as just anyone need to do yeah like that tell right right right a biggy back this summer last summer rather like they were alone like like [Music] she the other like P the cops and nobody said anything and I get on and I'm looking around see in when they sat down so and I know know my KS like down looking at like and I look see that there and they never SE child like sister no other people were they who were these children with nothing they look like where was coming from they just trying to get F right but they the oldest one was no more the third grade the other wow she got on a tree I got with Mom yes I did say something I didn't say anything to the cop but the fear I se in their face I knew they were scar so when I sat down I said did they just look to be I'm gonna protect you you don't gotta believe me sit next to me but at least Sit Close to Me anything happen they got off the tra everybody's like oh my out we I mother you know a lot of us they got the patience put out I let my kids do I'm not let else but I try to still be mindful and be a Good Samaritan a good person dritch dry snitch busen so what's what snitching right just experience been Thee I was on the same car or I just got off that tree or right before I got on that Tre it still has an impact on our Liv I know it did to me so I think it is important for us to engage I think it's also really important that [Music] engage but very intentional to engage because I think one thing is that we live in a world where influencers in social media or influencers of other peers of children big impact parents at right because really soci each [Music] right that they need help what do I do um when it come child why speak to my Community Affairs like with you know my elect officials to make sure that and we need to listen to parents because they're because they can't their child influen right what do we do right so even though there are these other activities and programs are available but technology has really taken a big part and us as parents I think our parents have said I think I have to get a too right I teach my kids at dinner table phone like you have parental settings on if you're buying the phone for your kid that's my buy phone [Music] talk about n or psychologically towards suicide like I think you know B school has talked about cellone bands this yeah think other school should do what they need to do for kids true that's right they put un there a lot um it's a lot I don't know if we should have maybe a presenter come out and do school um safety meetings on maybe one of our where we could squeeze it in yes you can barely hear us okay okay um I think something I'm going check that out and see if they can hear us onine I think that's the you can hear me I think some people couldn't hear Us online oh you hear me okay okay that's better okay now I hear my show e so um since there are NOS the time is now 84 you probably can hear me now yeah turn myself down okay someone second that motion cut oh okay it's 8:14 we have to turn our calendar meeting thank you everyone online um do we want to take a break five minutes so that 8:20 we will convene again I work on the technical difficulties e e e e e e e e e e okay everyone it is now 820 um we're GNA begin our business meeting with our roll call Emma alada is excused Angie Irena y set is excused Erica Michelle Amy GMO Maria here present and Bita present okay everyone is here okay quickly we know Miss Emma Miss Emma she's not in with us today so we can't really do the budget but I would like to tell you what we were going to discuss in regards to the budget it was the website we do have a website but it's free but to uh obtain a domain name so they it won't be so difficult to find us um that costs money so we was going to speak in regards to that um we was also going to speak in regards to our food budget um the cost of food has skyrocketed and so um we need to move some money around in regards to the food um 200 on the nose and I don't remember I don't remember yes where before so that's a good question because um Lauren told us just this year we ordered food from them and we have more food than this and it was 200 inflation yes inflation exactly exactly yes yes yeah so this is what's happening now and then of course extra for utensils and plates and things of that nature so we G to have to move some money around um uh well the year for for food I don't have our [Music] um yeah yes yes Emma had that we had that we did it the last time right the next meeting in September no she's not online yeah it's about a 100 yeah for the year so it's not going to cost us yeah easy number yeah and it's only when I realized Miss Emma said she wasn't gonna be here I was like oh we can't even talk budget so those are the items the website food um there was a discussion in regards face had um suggested a Cora so when when Lauren is not around Lauren will be with us in September but when she's not around we'll have a corer to print all the papers I've been doing it for you I've been doing it um but to be a little bit more efficient we all if we vote and agree we could also put in our budget for aoria if need be yes and bring all our stuff like the AL um c o u r i e r a Coria or messenger yeah do anybody have any old news or new news there anything we want to discuss um what we want to do do anybody have any suggestions oh so I know in September we're gonna be in um yes Ms or Ms 363 that's right there 184 yeah 363 yeah okay we're going to be there as in October November December don't have that I wanted Lauren to give us that list because I'm pretty sure um we're solidify up to December and just we have to worry about this next year yes yes yes yes she sent that well like in June SMS Ms 363 exactly yes there's a merger that's why we going there that's why we going yes yes yes yes yes yeah and then we we kind of Lauren did sent the email out so those principles could have first dibs of course we cannot go to the schools that we went to last term so it will be all new schools so um that again yeah yes I think we should go to a high school too I don't think we have been besides yeah three on this Bo yeah that's true yes okay yeah I tried to um I told Lauren I really wanted to start from the top and then come down like kind of be kind of strategic huh the Bronx so start Riverdale then come on down yeah yes yes yes so um but 363 because that's the merger that's why we going there first oh yes yes yes they also merge okay if I think we have a School in October Miss Miss Barson can you hear me okay okay and we also we also um quickly have to do a part two with Valeria and Julianne in regards to the data so if we could I'll I'll email yall we could do that yeah in September yes okay okay is there anything else other than that no good good good good um yeah yeah oh [Laughter] I could put a countdown yes yes Miss yes Miss Cara hi um I just wanted to CH can you guys hear me yeah I hear you um that you did go to 228 and 368 but you have not gone to 141 that's the third um middle school high school in d10 so and it is in Riverdale if you want to add that uh and we do have the list so schools have been scheduled um through Jan through December so January to June is still left to schedule correct okay cool thank you anything else I have my hand raised can you hear me sorry that's okay up to me hello I have a recommendation could we start thinking about committees for um bylaws and the PCS the parent coordinators coordinator committees and bylaw committee okay yep now the parent coordinator committee what do you mean by that so instead of because I I know sometimes it's hard for everybody to review everying P can you hear me hold on one second I gotta let everybody hear you sure I'm sorry I was being say it again Maria okay sure um hello everyone so for parent coordinators I know everybody gets the Emil from Maria Cora in regards of a new Appo to or somebody who's going to a school that's going to be doing the hiring I know it's timec consuming you have to review their resumés and give your and give your feeback complete a form now once you create a committee that means that there's three people or two people or four people for the members who will review those reents and submit the information they will not have to rely on all the whole entire Council to do so so yes it adds more Works to certain but this is also the opportunity for the ones that are already completing being part of that committee so I think she's talking about a hiring committee for the PC um candidates like for the members of the council to review those applicants correct yeah okay um so that committee will only be doing that and then everyone else will be opt out of it well everybody who wants to be a part of it could could volunteer could sign up for the committee it's an open door policy there's no there's no you can't be here no you can't be there whoever wants to attend a meeting should they be a meeting for that committee specifically should they decide to just fill out the form that is completely okay too but this is another way where not everyone not everyone has the time to fill out a form or join right but we need to make sure that we are also giving our feedback when it comes to hiring of the parent coordinators so we know that are going to be the bridge from the parents to the ministrators correct correct um right right right okay that be something um we could discuss more in detail the bylaw committee I I'm in agreement with that but the parent coordinator I feel like all council members should be a part of that not necessarily committee yeah the Committees are open they're not it doesn't block anyone from attending okay so I have a question is this a standing committee or an ad hoc committee a standing committee is something that the council has already said don't the bulaw to actually occur you know consistently because it being something that's like viable any time at hoc is like you know you can have it for a particular reason right I also want to be very cautious about what a committee is because you do need somebody to kind of facilitate that committee so that everybody comes together so it's kind of like what the council this is a committee this a committee right now you are the chair same thing as a sub commmittee you have to have somebody that have the time to actually facilitate to make sure that everyone can be a part of you know filling out the form interviewing the parent coordinator taking the time and I think that that is a commitment there that has to be fought through because um I know last year you know me coming to this Council um I've seen that not everyone hand part participate because there's a time that is allowed you to go to the interview submit really assess this um and I think if people can volunteer and not have restrictions of like these three people these people and also I want to be cautious about this committee because sub committees they're open door they're not just for members of the council they're also members of the community that they can be a part of so when it comes to Committee just like this counsil right now it's open door it's an open door policy um open meeting law I'm sorry a committee is open meeting law so if we're gonna make recommendations on hiring parent coordinator we have to be very intentional about what is shared what is not a share and being a committee has to be very like straight in line like there is an ad hoc committee that we create a cc for administrative assistant hiring and that's only particular for the counil so there I just want people to think through a little bit because as we go into the schol year what we can commit and what we can't commit corre willing to be able to facilitate is a lot so that's why I ask those two questions is it a standing committee is it at hoc committee and this will be an at hoc committee Amy and you can also take a look at the bylaws it also has the committes listed there so it's a hiring committee and there we already know the rules like many of us will already know the rules right you can't ask you can't share the name you will say candidate a b or c like those are those are rules that everybody will follow so it's not something that is just coming out this has happened in the past yeah and it's just specifically for the members only so put all of that in the chat for folks to you know to read yeah and if you know you're not going to commit what I am avable right so um last year we did have parent coordinator interviews and we did have feedback forms that the council were a part of I know I answered and a lot of the council members participated I know there was only one time there was a in-person interview and I know Council members were able to go to that interview but um that was the only time and I think we did parent coordinator um reviewing of um resumees about three or four times last year and we were yes right right right so um and we also got feedback on that because because that is a high school we don't necessarily um help in that area so yeah um I don't mind the Committees but I think we didn't have a problem before if it was a problem that nobody couldn't commit and nobody was answering to the feedback forms then I would say yes we need a committee but as a council um I think we okay with it but I will um like for example wanted something formal I remember last time had like EMA back for and we were just asking right and at the end of the day it was myself who did go in person so I would have like let's say for example that has established so that way we know that oh you know I know I'm not going to change Arenas I got to change her work schedule she knows that let's say am and myself was in the Comm right right I'm not because I know that you know Amy she said she's going to be in the community she's gon to Comm herself so that way you know other members don't and also it's good to have it established so that way um the schools know oh well whenever we have there I know these four five people then if mayy you know there's going to be seven or nine like I said because they did say it's going to be an open problem and I agree what say been done before it kind of gives it like a little bit more formal for example if a school you know is hiring something you know D has their hiring committee right so then and that we kind of lead a little bit of you know I said little bit Rel for other members that are not on there you know they don't have that time SCH I don't know it it seems like redundancy to me a little bit it just seems like we have the committee here we have the people those who particip ipate can't participate those it's not necessarily um it's not like the district is asking specifically we need three five people at this interview whoever could go to the interview and represent CC will be able to help with the interview process and I think um and I don't want people who are part of the committee who cannot do the committee now we need add make sure other people I I think it should stay FIB yeah there's more flexibility I always ask people to go in my stad I ask am I ask Emma I ask Eric yes I and I it gives I don't know I gotta contemplate um I know ieat this a lot but each and everyone are advises right we our suggestions as a coun one is united in making very similar suggestions um I I would also say that it's a very difference between you picking and exactly hiring an administrative assistant that's yours versus a parent coordinator at the end of the day you're not really selecting the person you're just making a recommendation so I do think every person here has a valid recommendation that should be open to conversation and um when you're in a committee like you really targeted on a very specific thing and I have to say suggest as you know what was raised earlier if member of a council says transportation is the priority that is a moral Focus that is something that we need to focus that that has a kind of an objective and that is something that you can create committee for because you have a a real intention for when to parent coordinator you're just another state quter that you're also making sure everyone has a voice so I see I feel like at the end of the day and again like flexibility is a good reason because if Ira can't be there G could be there like I can do it right you could always switch around because time doesn't really allow everyone to do everything at the same I I just feel like in this situation you know my opinion is like it give you an open committee like this is a committee um but I would suggest since we're in a conversation of committees is to maybe have a specific committee and I don't want to put you in a ER but I do think that we talk about such education uh I would advise that there be a Committee created for special education and and language Learners or safety because we are focusing on those are so that is something that I am very agreeable but I I want to kind of go in that direction because you know I think we're talking about it but we're not really want to do that let's do that like trans coordinators is like I can you can G can whoever can right you know I know we well there that's what I express okay okay yeah okay nothing is that including like for example the yes I know we have chur but I know have and I know last year else yes so okay okay so we're gonna discuss more about the committee hopefully if we have time in September okay okay um anything else so I did I know I know Miss um I have also been like the summer okay very good okay yes I was about to ask okay so that was a first come first serve I know there's many of us now there's 11 of us when we started we only had like seven or six of us on the council and um Lauren figured a first come first serve with the school L on list and whoever put they list in first you got the schools that wanted and then she went in chronological order on who so yes yes yes and I want us to go to schools that we unfamiliar with so we talked about challenging ourselves I want you to go outside your comfort zone and go to a school that you're not familiar nobody knows you but introduce yourself there so that people will be familiar with CC I know it's good to go to the schools in your neighborhood out of convenience but yes let's go out the box we gotta be like almost like a politician and spread the word outward because some schools get lost and they say well where were yall we never I PS3 we was there they was like we didn't know y pick each of our we're not suppos whats are yes no conflict of interest have yeah so the schools that are remaining what like any our I go anyway like so you guys know like I go weekly bu so I do get to see a lot of really like to see Lauren is gon Lauren is gonna send out letters to all those schools like that's our homework to send all those lays on letters out then we get the SLT meeting schedules know that those are in person I know some schools have slts on the same date or and that's going to be so if you have a lot of schools you got to juggle that's was always yeah you know um that that's I I guess we would reinforce that because I was sent I was CC on my Layon list and then and you wasn't yes yes some schools I did and Lauren and cor would correspond with us but sometimes you know parent cord it is and that's what the parent parent coordinator switch and they change assistant principal switch and change and so the email addresses are not correct but I think we got to I I had some last year but I didn't I wasn't on the threat and to follow up on some principle you're like hey I'm a cc member can I that or put us on the CC on the CC okay because because I had that issue where I po out scho like thing is um think we talked a lot about parent engagement so like if if it's not just like the PC of the principal but like every hopefully every PC has a email account they add threat so that like we more inclusive like right schol because you don't want to be like I'm meeting with the squ not yes sorry go ahead go ahead Lauren okay um the way I know last year you know everything was not really too I guess together this year the way it works is every well this happened last year as well for clarification everybody um the schooly the schools that they chose got emailed with the principal the PC and the liaison itself on the email it'll be the same thing this year probably tomorrow everybody will you know get their emails their parent coordinators are changing so right now they'll have the assistant principles and principles on those emails as well as the council member the reason I know some people made may have went to schools School visits have to be arranged by me um they can't just go to schools anymore so once we arrange it and we confirm a date and time with the school then everybody will be able to visit and there should be no problems at all okay so School visits is separate from the SLT meeting correct okay okay okay be a real clear communication because I think that especially with principles not knowing CCS they need to really be aware like these are the things that are expected from us to do a walk through your school because it is not cool how somebody disres I'm noty put but it really feels sometimes it's a disrespect from leadership that oh because you're a cc I don't have to respond to you you're not a super advised therefore I don't need to like cooperate and it's not cool because we're here to help you with capital plan I know last year didn't happen but still like I mean we can have n years I seen mod at schools like did you see that and for us not to be responsible for very clear communication of principal this is what we need to schedule like walk through your school through a scho visit give me a list of your SLT meetings for the year like I mean that's just my thinking because that's how I've done it in my other Council but I just I feel like a huge dis connect and I also feel like it's like really disrespect that some people don't communicate they don't see you as they oh you're just another parent sitting on another town so like what do I have to do with you so I just put it there okay it is yeah because you know yeah in the email um and I also that they should um or whether or not so last year what I did was um after I received that you know that they knew who knew I gave them like days after that I I did to them and I also went because I did go to the month after was Tex me you know what happen to you call me what Happ Workshop we're doing this that um that and then we also had H5 and4 like we're gonna have this um we're have work so I think it's our duty as Le to actually build that connection with them build that relationship I do have you know with school that whole year but that doesn't come as like that right you have to to be there and say you know I think you know um this is my contact I give them everything my email my number and I tell and they come back right and some schools I I've heard they don't that never happened to me um it's all right of course be challeng yeah yeah put I think that initial in introductory email works and then afterwards um I do I do the SLT meeting first and then once they get kind of me comfortable there then they say okay maybe one day let's do the walkth through but I think the walk through before the SLT it's kind of sort of evasive it's almost like you coming and I didn't clean my house yeah I didn't clean it and the email you know specifi and I did attach yeah I did attach lauring and I and I said you know as my D I am the of your school as my duties as CC member is to attend and I to make sure that is well right I'm written as well I'm spoken about correct and then I go up I go and I say you any like I said just create that put it did you want to say [Music] something for here already updated list so we could maybe have distribut school more even way was already the next day so there not really a benefit for the information yet oh as in pick in the school in the this is what's going to happen we're going to be competing for schools or something but we never knew that so like for some people it's not a I don't want people to think it's a competition of schools because there is 5 is it 54 schools no we have over 60 schools so every council member every council member should have at least five schools but they're going to visit and it's on a regular basis you also serve as a liaison to the school leadership team and to the you know to the parent members of those teams like the PTA and the SLT so it's important that when the letter goes out that these things are specified to the principal and whoever else has copied on the letter so that they understand your role and your responsibility because it's not just about going to an SLT meeting but as you've already been discussing you also required to do a building walkth through you're required to engage engage with the different constituencies at the school meaning the staff the parents leadership everyone right even when you're walking through you're going to interact with students because you're walking through a building during the school day and it's really meant for schools to understand that you're there as a support an additional layer of support to them it's also an extension of the district office because while we have a larger team we can't always be at every single school all of the time so you will create form a relationship with these schools and be a point of contact for them when things are needed the other thing is when the capital plan improvements um come up for discussion you can actually speak to those things and advocate for what schools really need based on your visits based on your interactions based on attending SLT meetings so it is it is a huge ask because it is more more than coming to these meetings once a month as a c you must also be engaging on a regular and continuous basis with the schools in the district that you are alas on for in that same note if you can't take on five schools because only you know what your level of commitment can truly be outside of these monthly meetings it's okay to say that as well as you've seen in the past some members have a little bit more flexibility in their schedule and so they can take on a couple of extra schools in your stad and that's okay but not going to any schools not being a liaison to any school is not acceptable and is a direction of your duties that's your primary function as a cecc member is to serve as a liaison so if you're not liasing that has to really be re-evaluated and we have you know while the schools um in our district have some of them been truncated as you know we closed a couple of schools in the last two years but we've expanded you guys referenced earlier um 363 is not going to be just a middle school anymore is expanding to an elementary school SL Middle School um in the same breath we did close 382 and those students and families were absorbed into the collocated schools at 386 and 447 so we're not losing student population we just lost that building number number but the schools are still there we also are gaining a pre Center there are other things happening across the district so while one may cancel the other we're still a very large District we are the largest in the Bronx as you know acting president Parson's already mentioned so it's really important that um we we try one to give the support we can two not to spread ourselves to thin and three to really leverage what we have we have a larger Council now and so we can spread the wealth a little bit but also look at what our level of commitment can really be right okay thank you Maria okay so don't feel like you didn't get your schools feel like oh there's more I think we should maybe I'll think about um whatever schools is left out of that list and show maybe Lauren could do that for us show what schools are left on out of the 60 oh no I just thought of like 60 kids that that's what I thought 60 kids and yeah that's that's a lot that's a big family that's that's a huge family I I don't know if I have that many family members immediate that because they that's immediate family members yes that's wild um anything else no it is 902 M M M M some somebody please make a motion to aurn this thank you Kate and Amy second that motion to adjourn thank you everybody online thank you Lauren Maria Chad everybody that wrote online and we see you at 363 psms 3631 84th on Creston we see you there September 27th thank hey Bita yes sorry to interrupt I know you just adjourned the meeting I got booted off I just wanted some clarification on the SLT question that I had can I send it to you and and Maria um uh Korea um good night um maybe I can cop you on it because I get a chance to see if if it was answered answer yes um Chad yes so the council members do let the school know when they're coming that is the best practice of course nobody wants to be ambushed nobody wants to have surprise visits sometimes if you're in the neighborhood it's just a good practice to say hey I'm nearby can I come by can I stop by can I pop in that'll happen with time as you develop a rapport but before any school visit folks should let the school know that they're coming this is also why we ask schools to provide their school leadership team calendars so that information can be sent to everyone in advance as everybody knows SLT meetings are in person at schools there is no virtual SLT meetings that should be happening in this District that means council members should be walking inside of a school building and attending a physical meeting in a school building the only time that a person should be joining an SLT meeting is if a member has an emergency a member of that SLT has an emergency and they've asked in advance to join using the hybrid option otherwise meetings are in person fully in person at schools okay thank you for that now now if if if I just happen to run into someone and I'm an SLT member at my school and I say well we're having our meeting on Thursday um why don't you come and join us and I can introduce you like a informal invite would that would would that be frowned upon I I don't necessarily understand if you see someone and you invite them and they can come great we have and not an official visit are you saying you as a member I'm I'm in I've been an SLT member going on four years and I'm making I'm using me as an example so if I happen to know a cc member um and I want to bring someone to a meeting as an invite but not necessarily to do a visit but just to attend a meeting um would that be frowned upon no they need to be announced and actually as per the Chancellor's regulation a655 and that's the regulation that governs School leadership teams anybody who attends right these are open public meetings but anybody who attends a school leadership team meeting and has the intention to speak present even just to address the SLT needs to have prior written notice to the SLT chairperson they can't just walk in and then attend the meeting and think that they're gonna have audience anybody can just walk into the meeting and sit this is true if we want to really like be literal about the open public meetings law but for members if you know the council members and you invite them that's great it is expected and the best practice that this is communicated to leadership and to the SLT chairperson so that everybody's on the same page and no one has any surprises we're not here again it's not a gotcha we're supposed to be collaborating okay so that's the distinction okay got it yes okay thank you everybody online okay bye bye well than healthy and safe ciao oh Maria I saw your comments the other Maria
