motion to approve the election results as provided by the clerk of bro County stating that the three-year term Was Won by Eric M and Kayla Lugo uh for a WR in vote uh the two-year unexpired term custodial janitors were able to do uh with keeping our schools open and safe during the inclement weather over Sunday night and into Monday and I hope they're getting some sleep for what could be on the horizon this upcoming Saturday and Sunday all right that being said let's move on we have to do the approval of the following reorganization right right so can I have the approval of the following are2 our meeting on the 22nd we are going to discuss the roll out committees are you talking to the I am okay that's correct so the 22nd I believe we were turning that over to Dr fetz on committee members oh yeah ready to go have that discussion with you about the committee on the 22nd on the 22nd publish the list of all the people I believe we were looking for at least which committees all of them we looking for a full carpet of all yes yeah that's we're going to begin correct that's what we were told in January okay so that's that's that time frame remain yeah okay also the 22nd we'll be interviewing for any show board members to fill the vacancy um I have one letter right now I think the deadline is posted as January 10th for anyone that is interested in assuming the position and it is for one year to the next election I just wanted to bring to your attention that it looks like it's an old letter on the website um for those vacancies we updated it to two vacancies now it's two it has old GES on it oh okay what do I have January 10th though I think it actually doesn't say it just says sworn in until December 31st 2014 24 it has over okay I'll refer to my person any further old business uh yes did we just the um board self evaluation results yet how is that going to be handled that's since July I have from school boards yes we'll have to ask them when we see them I don't know where are we with the contract for the Walnut Building is officially leased they're picking up the keys tomorrow morning um I actually have uh checks ready to be given to the realtors tomorrow the commission check and they're handing me the check with the security deposit any further on whole business I do want to bring up one thing on new business are we able to move the new business uh new business would be I believe the timeline for the superintendent search are we allowed to talk about that now is that new business okay so I do have a question because I think that when we outlined the letter that was fored to us in email I thought we were under the impression that our new superintendent we had the funds to start our new superintendent B hire publicly approves new superintendent on June 1st that his start date his or her start date June first so that they could Shadow Dr Fitz because then it's telling us August transition Workshop expectations new superintendent begins work in District 60 days after appointment date that's where I'm having a little bit of a strouble because we wanted to have a seamless transition Dr Fitz said probably 5 to 10 days with me would be enough and we wanted the the new hire in this seat by June 1st so June 1st or July 1st June 1st school boards is now staying that doesn't work they can't just say that we came up with this so how did they tell us what we we why do they get the right to tell us what we're doing when we contract with them don't we tell them the um superintendent's contract has to be approved by the um county superintendent and then the gentleman has whoever gentleman or woman has to give probably 60 days notice to his s that's why I thought we came up with a timeline that we would have everything done by that may to have it for a July one well I'm asking is there change is there a chance that this General timeline can be changed like for instance let's say we get done our March 25th uh third round interviews April 1st okay we do reference checks we're going to say hey this individual we could probably provide in writing that they're going to be put up for the next board so that we give them something in writing or that they're going to get board ofet approved in April then they could take it upon themselves to put their 60 days in April so that would take you to the middle of June now so really I think is there a way we can get this in two weeks like right here March 17th 18 board conducts second round interviews selects candidates for third round if needed so if we don't need a third round we could eventually hire the person in we can make our recommendation pending reference checks by the end of March you could okay all right because I have I March 26th I think I have a board meeting for that night okay it's on the um so until we start seeing the process this is still this is manageable right okay there's when it says board submits new contract to Executive County Superintendent group it says on or before May 1st okay all right perfect do you have any questions about that are these the dates that we agreed to when we met with them I don't know I don't think so I have different I have my notes so yeah I don't think so no so this is not what we agreed upon because I wanted to put the ad on the internet prior to Christmas and they said no who who is the contact who who are they dealing with from this this District you yeah okay so you're the contact person from the board correct it's just you I think ER I think Eric was being contacted by yes Eric well these dates have changed and most respectfully they're new for me right so I'm not okay with this okay um I'll call them tomorrow well not only that though I mean I'm assuming that we're all hearing this for the first time because it was sent to us so for me I have not had any discussions with anybody any uh M of the school so I felt a little you know I checked my notes this is not the whole process is actually not okay because I don't know as a board member I don't know about this so I am not going to rubber stand anything that has not been discussed right and we have representation on behalf of all of us but all of us should also be talked to to make sure but I'm asking I think a question about the the role of a president so is that with you and Eric as well if that's an appropriate question the the August date is surprised surprising to me because they I know they delayed the receipt of the resumés I think for another week it was supposed to be the 17th the 17th of January yes now they pushed it to the end of January so this this is not for me it's not okay so if I there's any I can call them tomorrow I also see between the 24th and then the 14th that that looks like approximately 3 weeks of down time like February 5th consultant deliverers waited p i you know the criteria February 5th we're having the board meeting to review the resumes so we don't need February 14 board reviews applicants and selects candidates for interview we can do that on February f okay so we this is this looks Jo yes I think this looks decent up until February 5th and after that we have to lock in those dates after February 5th but those dates I don't I have I'm very that's fine with me but the the dates of the 4th the 5th and the 10th like I said I think I think we ignore right now from February 14th on okay we reconvene February 5th when we review the interview we review the uh candidates and who we want to call back to interview and then we create a new schedule after that right okay okay yes I feel like we can meet in the middle get rid of the 14th because the 14th can be merged with February 5th now on meeting for so I'll know who the candidates are so I can advertise our meeting dates we're going to move that up we can and then U I'd be able I don't know if they're coing the candidates or un coing the candidates well it says right here border RWS board meets for superintendent contract training board conducts first round so I think you know need this we are at February 14th and TBD we feel that those are two un NE not necessary steps right um I don't believe that the uh meets with superintendent contract training I don't believe that is don't need that because the attorney is going to be making up the superintendent contract right we when we when we discussed it with the super I mean the County School Board I mean School Board Association they talk to us about the importance especially with our new board members of understanding the process of choosing a new superintendent there is I don't believe a training that's going to be offered from this date to this date by the School Board Association to go through that so I understood it to be they were going to have train us on how to choose a superintendent so for the four of us that have been am I missing that point that we were told when we met in November they're L to choose your that's February 5th where they deliver the weighted pools right what was the criteria to make them their topic and I think that's what we're going to ask them for how did they come up with that that criteria but they're we're not we're not meeting with them I thought until okay I understand what you're saying so I I have to tell you I am I don't have any of this in my notes about a contract what I have is a School Board Association talking to this board about how to choose a superintendent the interview process should be on the fth that's the fth that's the fifth yeah and that's they definitely added the they add so that's new right yes okay I I apologize no that's why I said we just got to get to the fifth and then I think we reconvene at that point and what's the what are we trying to to hit as you I I feel we and you know Eric can Trump me but I feel we should get the starting date June 1st and I think we discussed that that could be covered that's up to the candidate correct soon they could leave correct but that's why we're trying to make this move everything up um or we even said that the start date could be June 15th middle of June because Dr Fitz said it would take he wanted about a week or two for Carrier but Dr Fitz is contracted with us I mean legally till October June 30th June 30th okay you two no okay so two years is not really two years then two years no it's two two two calendar years yes but it is October then I mean Dr pit started in October yeah but you would have to extend his his contract past June 30th so my the contract I have with you Dr fit is not through September 30th 20125 I don't know okay that's fa sir that's any other questions on du business okay now on the public comment now on the public comment on
