##VIDEO ID:Bam8yUwuhdE## a proposed Banner policy update discussion on the textile blue bins location the mural for the town hall the review of the 2024 annual report and the Town Administrator report so we will jump in for the public comment anybody here wish to speak to something not on the agenda I have one you don't count okay okay you got just um I know the the construction process has begun for the pfast mitigation water line yeah um and I think this was a question that sort of came up in an email I read just about an hour or so ago from a resident who was wondering if things were still available to get like assistance with water filtration and stuff um so I just think it's good that it's on the record and maybe Folks at home are listening can ask that question as we sort of learn more about this Pas plume if you will um I don't know the answer to the question but I just think it's important for us to oh there probably few questions that need to be asked of them before an answer can be given yeah so do they have contaminated water all right that's the big question they where are they which street are they on This was um not that we want to be devolving this information they're in the the circle of trust if you will so but I I know I saw the email and it came from I was a little surprised from where it came from so um I just think this question may lead to other neighbors asking the same question oh yeah well so they should certainly reach out and figure out if there are options that was my one concern is there should be options because I mean this has been discussed all along knowing this plume is going to continue and how it's going to be addressed so that's something that we should have okay yeah okay that's the party L okay just in case you kept somebody in donut and they listening to us now reach out to the school system and go from there so yeah cool all right that's my only public but as I am saying that the D and the schools are still continue to um provide bottled water and some um residences have the on-site filtration systems based on the levels of contamination yeah um and that would be I I believe that would be done instead the water m is B in front of everybody's home okay yeah because I know there was a window of opportunity there that's what this email reference which I was I couldn't recollect that not I'm I don't think so I mean this is going to be ongoing and okay there was no closure to it and yeah just that email said like a summer date I think it was like June 22th or say June 30th was throwing it out there without I don't have being on my phone that you could get the water filtration system and they were still hoping for assistance it went to all of us I'm not I'm not so oh I don't know all that but I didn't see it I didn't get yeah okay it came from um Margaret Scarsdale one of her folks I didn't I didn't rece that I didn't see that either okay so TVD yeah but it's good that they could still call the school from your knowledge which I could to see Schoolin never tou line yeah and as Leah said there is a potential of that area yeah based on TES once if that happens they need to follow they're going need to follow up basically yeah so so it is still I would say an evolving process yeah okay cool all right thank you okay good anybody else no okay move on um so we have one set of minutes from December 3rd 2024 anybody's read them any issues I no move to um approve the meeting minutes from December 3rd 2024 second in favor I okay Board of board of Library trustees um so as we know John Callahan has resigned from the board been there for quite a period of time so um sad to see him go but he's moving on to other things I guess um so we have that space open and we have before us a recommendation by the board to um appoint Amy Watson that's you hi welcome anybody here to speak to her or speak for yourself you can introduce yourself yeah so I'm I moved to town um November of last year so and I actually live in the red house across the street from the library um I'm a huge fan of librar um I have a MERS in library and information science from Simmons University um I worked for a few years in a law library a law firm in Boston I'm currently a senior manager of competitive intelligence at a software company in glal um but I've stayed really close to libraries throughout my career and prior to moving to dumpable I was a um trustee for the L public library for 3 years so I had to give that up as a non resident of L um but shortly after moving here I got to meet Moren and expressed that I was interested in getting involved with the libraryies at some point and so I just kind of stayed close to that um and so when that opportunity arose when John was resigning it seemed like a good time to step in um I guess my family and I are like active Library patrons I also have a two-year-old son so we're own at the um children's Department a lot so I think bring a good perspective of like multigenerational Library users great yeah that's a fantastic introduction thank you I'm not sure she's qualified they it's a tight ship over there do what you want but you know I think we can entertain a motion unless anybody wants to speak very lucky as community and Li to have on the board and we are really grateful for John K done for over 20 years yeah no that'd be great want me read a motion thank you for putting forward your expertise and volunteering time move to appoint Amy Watson to the library Board of Trustees with a term to expire on May 20th 2025 and I will second that all those in favor I I I thank you great yeah welcome aboard thank you very much so there'll be a followup um she'll get a letter from the town clerk to go in and she can yeah be in touch with you make it official you don't have to stay at the whole meeting either so you're free to run if you have a two-year-old at home I'm guessing you have other things on your list to do unless you want the freedom right now I always like to get people on out yeah sure you want to hear about these blue bins oh my God it's like the best it's like the freedom cow come on um all right next up we have uh the Hazardous mitigation Plan update resolution and adoption thank you for making that change so um so this is great to get this finally done this has been several years of working on this along with the MVP plan and we have them both finally done so um before just this resolution that the US have to sign it like just one of us needs to sign it other than this how does other than this how does this get memorialized or so FEA FEA yeah so we've been going back and forth we had to go um we had back and forth with the state um energy environmental Affairs on the mvg um plan that's been improved and it's part of that work as what you was saying we also looked at the h&p to update it but this is a Mima fima so we went to MIMA Mima provided feedback we responded once we um satisfied Mima we then went to FEMA and now we're at a point where FEMA has said yes thank you we are we sign off on this plan pending the select board's adoption well it has been in process for has yeah it's been yeah know so that's good over there in accordance with uh Massachusetts general laws chapter 40 section 4 I move to approve the resolution as presented adopting the town of dunal 2024 haard mitigation Plan update I will second that any further discussion there be it hi hi all right very good so um is this a doc sign thing or uh or do we have a hard copy for just um I'll get you cop put the meeting okay great very good all right you've got a question from an audience hi joh is is that online somewhere where we can take a look at is the packet up yet yes the pack the packet up on the website okay y thank you have fun reading yeah I just going to say you're going to need a magnifying glass for some of that because there's matrixes that are c yeah something Pages how much of it was updated oh jeez huh quite a bit I feel like we went through a lot yeah we have I think we have a Redline version if you want me send you that so you can see the actual update sure I'd like to see the red L I think he have that if I have it I'll send it to you it'll fit my computer yeah I know okay so we have a an updated liquor license application so it kind of came to my attention really after um the periques were going to uh apply to transfer their their license upstairs temporarily they since decided not to do that um but we we didn't really have a process for um transfers changes of location um so I did some research and um around some different uh communities and these are like the standard things that would happen with the liquor license so transferring the license changing the manager um etc etc so um with this new application the old application which is in your packet um that's the one that you're looking at K that's the old oh no that's new one yes yeah the old one um only really cared for um new and transfer um and things change over time so it's if they sell the business you know it's good to make sure they could change the name of the manager um yeah it's a pretty standard and it allows us to you know have a a application fee for those transaction so it's not just a well I mean it's a learning experience for us too so as we go along we bump into these things and sort them out so yeah that that looks great for um this last line on the bottom of the page in the gray box saying this application this license application requires select board approval police fire Board of Health building is that even for like changing the name of the business or like is it all is it all-encompassing for every one of these check box items you know that's a great question I don't know why they would need to sign off again unless it's just like in a board ask change your name we don't care there's a lot of stuff comes through us I just wonder if they have to wait for do they have to wait for a meeting though in order for that approval to be received you know because you guys you may take the Fourth of July off and you may not meet again till August 1st and then I don't know right like business in a small town that's just the way it kind of works I mean it's kind of not that it happens a lot but yeah I don't know just for operating protocol it should be run past you know all the people that are yeah everybody that has a say it funny because there are certain things that probably wouldn't need everybody yeah but there are some things that proper right absolutely so and then there are some things like change of ours maybe the maybe you want to run that by the police if it's going select board but doesn't need anyone else I don't not okay and I guess it's up to the business owner to be proactive yeah you know like have some foresight here you know unless you want Powerball and you're bailing but yeah I'm fine with it I just want to you know no I think it's fair that every board that has a hand should have a have a review of it okay cool we may not know what other board may have they may have an interest in the particular thing we may think well doesn't matter to me it's not in our real house even it's administrative to some degree like it was like a change of name could we authorize her do it on email or do it out thing and then certify the meeting so C types of changes this is coming up this is the issue don't it's just not as relevant you know like yeah the thing is is sometimes there might be some other reason we might want to know and it's really be hard to make like a a matrix yeah of when you notify who so it might be easier to run it by each board and I just didn't know if we had a we do for Board of Health we'll let our agent do certain things but if there's a question about it it's like for setic she can sign all off if there's a question she want it ask yeah it could also be sent out to each department head simultaneously and that department head could respond and say I don't need to address this we and we have a sign off form so we can just send that out we send it out and if anything change it could be a if anything change from the last please you know yeah okay all right just I mean otherwise it's like a great looking form and I think it makes a lot of sense because things do change over time so yeah and I mean the truth is normally we probably just would have done this administratively but the board took a vote prior on all the materials and the rules and rights so we wanted to bring it back just to make sure you're comforable okay I I I sure I understand Karen's point about yeah you know name changes may not me to notify the fire department police department but in in a lot of cases I think they do they they do especially the floor change you know going first to second second to First yeah that's certainly in the Wheelhouse of a lot of different departments sir all right move to approve the updated town of dunable liquor license application dated November 21 2024 uh second those in favor I I good Banner policy all right me again we talked about this a while ago yeah it used to be our policy used to be a banner and sign policy yeah and it it was basically all about banners and there was one little paragraph that spoke to a temporary signs at Town Hall our new sign policy cares for them M so I just took that out and I um updated it to S the for and it's just now a ban policy I didn't change anything else other than taking that paragraph out okay have we had I mean I you know I just was looking at this that on the liability side right T of dustable assumes no liability in the installation maintenance removal or storage of banners all sponsor organizations must sign a liability waiver in advance of banner installation so that's I there's a couple things all right in Massachusetts you cannot contract yourself out of liability there's no such thing and I don't know whether this puts us in position I I don't know but I don't think it's a big deal because the only time we ever a fly a banner is the one that's over the street I once in a while there's other Banner someplace else but for the most part I don't think it's a big deal my point is that let's say that some social organization wants to fly a banner and now we're asking them to sign a waver and then the banner Falls and lands on somebody's car or whatever happens cuz whoever put it up how does that how does this address that or you know is this social organization going to have a waver and accept liability for that but that's what well it doesn't bring that up all it's it's talking about the install maintenance removal and storage doesn't so what we what we do is we have Maya our insurer has provided liability waivers to us for use for certain things so we would just modify I think we have it already done okay modify the form to use yeah and that's my that's my point I think you got to just get that I don't know how it gets worded but I know that you got to get the the the wav here worked out so that it indemnifies the town from who puts them people no there there's been there's a couple of companies that come in the town wave guide comes in wave guide is a antenna company yeah and they come in and hang it McDonna electrics come in and H them for us n i was think might like Li say that that are insured for that kind of stuff they usually do it like um I think it's Dave I've seen him do it for like Memorial Day banner what up and you know it's just him and like John crle coaching it along and you it's a volunteer effort really to yeah I do it yeah we've been fortunate not going nothing sketchy has happened so it's not the highway guys that no the highway guys will do the flags along 113 but they don't have the apparatus to do the banner hanging so you know I don't think it's Soha approv the way they FL either you don't think it's what I don't think it's OSHA approved guys sitting in the driver seat an extension in the back ofb have a I'll try remember to be out with my camera you and everybody else yeah offline somebody is on step ladder on the back of a d yeah neither here nor there yeah I've never seen that I haven't seen it but I guess if he's saying it's probably true have we have question from the audience might check they have a ban all the time and there us to be a guy on the highway department he used was on the fire department here um he got paid a s to change that the banner every time it was done and I don't know what what it was not but they may have some kind of a policy so there there is and I deal with liability and and and everything as part of the application process there and I don't know if this is what you were saying run it's not legal but there's an agree button and part of that says um the applicant shall hold harmless defend and identify the T of denal um blah blah blah Town's employees officials volunteers Agents from any and all losses claims lawsuits and expenses and it goes on on so there is that as part of the application process they have to that Anders us form F their depte um to use for andil no I think this is good it's good to get this move to approve the updated town of dunable banner policy dated November 19th 2024 favor thank you sue working all right moment we''ve all been waiting can I say one thing I in the email I sent out to everyone i s the discussion 5 okay well we've got five minutes people CH sure disc yeah 5:30 okay so we're going to um wait for few more minutes before we have the bin location because it was advertised being at 530 so got minutes from that so in the meantime we will jump to the mural for the town hall oh this ought to be interesting we we have an interesting meting so it is fun fun stuff soon I can ATT team this one so we had every every day when I'm walking in the office if you look to the right you see that where the and board used to be yeah talking about okay this is ugly so one of the ideas we we kind of brainstormed was to have some sort of neural painted and so we kind of brainstormed possibly having like high school student do it have a contest have them submit proposals and select Bo a cultural Council maybe a selection supporting the work so so that's in general what we were talking about motion before you kind of gives approval to that and um and um allows us to kind of create more from guidelines and the selection process for you to consider um but we don't want to we don't want to go too far without getting sign off and that's a good idea um it's not a very big space what is it like 4 by six it's not even that Big 4 by six that um the first question mind is have historic commission had a weigh in on that it being a historic building I know this wouldn't be a permanent alteration that the interior guts so I think the historic is for the exterior right not necessary is it okay the stage trim I like I mean alteration just trying to be mindful of making sure all yeah if that I don't knowx you want somebody to come in there and something nice welcoming yeah I mean's be honest the other you could simply just and so that's that are that's op have people in town who you know artists who do uh some pretty nice work and you could do that as well commission course J look at that [Laughter] yeah medicated place for local art on a rotating basis that's that's an idea too yeah I mean so again like part of me also thinks like a screen might be too like an electronic screen might be too far to go but it is also a space that a lot of people traditionally would go and look what time is my meeting and where is it located you first walk in the door am I going up am I going down um so part of me I don't again Arrow but I mean like it's just Tech like I know there's a c certainly much more of a cost and robust thought of a tech like a screen that's vertical that says you know planning board your meeting downstairs select Bo DRS there but is that should be trending but a bulletin board main yeah literally I've seen that done at schools like it's pretty common practice you put a nice frame around a monitor that's flipped on its side and it literally has meetings and where to go I don't know and then it also could show pictures you can also have it show pictures modernizing AIT here at time so it could also show local electon elect electronic yeah I mean the only the only thing you're going to have with that is the cost ass scre but you actually could just link it to the website I like it when you walk in the door and there's a little sign [Music] time to set up an electronic you know the 22nd Cent is scary I know [Laughter] hang a picture you wanted me to kill five minutes be or option Ed just paintart bece I like the painting of theall right there in the W there are high school and other artists in town where you could make we used to basis if you didn't want to do a miror Lac artist I think so things are easy pict be differentes yeah well you could put up some sort of like track system to so one why is it there's a story behind that [Music] [Music] could have somebody and I me this for the that's option D [Laughter] password yeah overall artwork Fresh coat of paint in artwork sound very all right we've test 10 minutes well let's see come install a screen tomorrow actually a really good app that does takes calendars and puts them up and has yeah all right let's let's jump back to the bins Jo us so been having major drama going on for have a police escort in order to go over there to empty the bins yeah so this really yeah because being threatened because of his reaction to the v no no I think it's the Services is the one that needs yeah and isues that been issu of vandalism at the highway garage yeah sorry come up there there's an idea to um well you guys around through town and I think from that I've that one of the ideas would be possibly at the sand shed the old salt sand shed Street okay does that say that is that isn't that right resents can and get stuff during the winters the option was I don't know if even a potential but sorry if we need possibility that we hadross the Street Extension that little triangle area yeah do we there is one nice thing about else and get the money and it's right there traffic but is paying for us and you everybody sees it and so um um I know and I talked about it but um can I just run through the library again why why library's got a few problems first of all it's super private it's actually really visible when you drive by there you you can see that parking lot I think it's also it's aw now they don't have a lot of room that parking lot when I go over at seniors and other times is a lot of voting any events at the library it's fairly full trucks are gonna have trouble getting in and out of there comes and goes I it's not like there's a constant flow of traffic these things I mean I mean I don't see it I see it as a place it would be just really easy to drop in after hours and I I I'm a little bit concerned about the salt shed the same way um because it's a little bit up and out of sight mayting to D because they will pick up they're really good about it yeah so so we we did a little cruise around town the other day last week okay and we looked at some sites um the road that is left of the post office that kind of just goes into the right now that we talked about an option of putting those bins on the left hand side of that the mud districts off of the post office property do we the the no the road belongs to the developer for the MUD district right but he he has said to us be okay with that even if it's temporary but what temporary is we don't know temporary could be a week it could be absolutely yeah no it's not that was an option so that lot would get cleared out and there was some discussion about whether or not the post office needed to a sense to it but since that that's a paper Ro goes back to the and would be on the other side of that which is the developer property so you clear that lot it's not level right now we could clear it and set those containers on that side of so You' Drive in dump your stuff and then back that one spot second spot obviously was the library and you know they would get tucked away in the back it could work that to to your point um the the you know there could be some dumping going we've had some dumping going on here there was you know a couple times TVs were left there right computer monitors and the guy absolutely know about The Dumping I having in a more visible place well The Dumping occurred when those things were at SS house I don't know how we could get anything more visible than that no I'm saying no matter where we put it um we picked up transf it was down on back you know it was Clos bins are no bins people dump stuff they don't want so we looked at we looked at the library option we looked at the post office we looked at the soft shed you drive off inside containers hug the street you look at that as an option and I think the other one that we looked at was the one Thor so and I know that land belongs to the land trust but that house was there the bench is now a what about just so like we have you know vision of maybe a little farm the old brown wellhouse there across from hardman's the cemetery hardman's old house theet I guess I actually kind of like the post office Road it'll be off to the side it actually when we looked at it we drew a around look at these things when we looked at it it looks like we wanted to be sure that we got the creative juices at every option that we felt was viable to us you know we fire station's not an option the police station's not an option Mall's not an option you know we went through this thing Six B of the Sunday we went through hell trying to figure out we going we did wanted to do it and it was months before the on where they were it was like where can we put and we're in a we're in a a pretty nasty situation with um that situation that's over there yeah can I ask a question about this nasty situation yeah like a part of me doesn't like to negotiate with I'll use the word terrorist I'm like so what all so has the vendor opted to pursue charges for being threatened neighbor no that's on them then like just just to be totally clear usually beneficial situation right so then I'm not trying to be a jerk but like would you're just you're empowering this neighbor to just run this didn't we kind of move it the first time C no I don't know so let me let me say this about that because I love a fight okay yeah okay and especially where I know I can come out on top right and I think in this particular case we could however there's a saying and it's really true here the juice may not be worth squeeze right and Pa was saying with that is we can we can um go into Air District Court get a CE order have it served monitor it but and you got to remember that and this and and as I say I love a good fight we're dealing with an unreasonable person and you trying to reason with an unreasonable person we're going to incur legal Fe or something in the end is not really worth you don't have any you abely only but it's a rela good assumption to money well we have we have proof that somebody since V have been there we have Pro evidence that somebody is growing we don't know it take more money it would and and fees will get incurred and maintenance of the legal agreement over the time you know it's it's it's like a temporary restraining a someone's going pay attention you know it's and believe me I I I understand I'd be the first one get my hammer off not going at it but I've looked at this thing six weeks to Sunday you know there's a better yeah supp why we allege that is threatened Tres the proper I know it's just it's such an OD again it's such a poor showing for res again I can't emphasize that [Laughter] enough so we're just gonna move them back so then you just like just like that's the other like just say you know what [Music] we're a lot of is driving it IDE all the people that are this is should drive down the L not knowing it because handful of people don't like yeah and making so now we have making about the old location got some mileage got some expectations to set that we could move it moved I like the other side of the post office Road because I think there it's pretty visible yeah but it's not right on the road no post office isn't sexy but it's it's not like we're putting it right up next to thing you just drive right by mail off Fire Road they're gonna we're going to be putting it on property yeah but he discussion with him already so I mean don't we don't know at the end of the day May there's a permanent location for right now AC to it and you know we don't want use whatever and one location that's you know Library man how many people the library enough times where I've navig was that it would go at the back and so there's a wood fence that runs that pack we would do is take out a couple sections of that fence and place it was so we did notru directly space so the reason I say that is you know when there are presidential elections or there are driving by to dump their stuff is g to see oh all right I'll do it next time yeah but we don't want don't want to take upking just to be certified have have a c number and so so don't yeah that's what I was saying we would just take I think gonna take out a couple sections of that F and set those in there so that people could still Park in the Stalls and there we wouldn't be reducing spaces you know and groups going on in the library that not just collections that paring I every Wednesday yeah even with that going on in the exercise thing then the truck comes to pick up yeah and somebody's gonna have to move yeah absolutely I think you mean just a little bit of further discussion we you know this those blue Bens this is the they we've been at this prob we've had them behind police station station we put them at swallow un those BL have been around the whole time we should just on them and move them around went to one ss and went to no but terms of discussion those things have been every honestly I think just move them where they came from and then says we have a temporary and then talk about if we need to level ground by across the road from the PO so the the question I've been asked the most is can they be painted dark green yes that soften it visual effect if they can be painted a dark green I don't know this this is his like trademark business blue color or you know obviously they paint them that blue to be visible so people use them you know where they are gonna know where they are any IDE they we talked the other towns that had them and where they were placed and I remember yeah I mean the place I used to use and we actually planning to use again I don't want to go down there I'm Drive the L to a place you have to go there and that's what I've been doing fabric those typ of vitamins yeah until bins came so I mean there was a set of bins down at the church in pepp I that a new name but and and then they also had paper took paper alab body was doing a paper recycling until they went bankr there are no BS this I don't know it's to Harold's point I don't know where they I I've not seen them coton was there at the transfer station in G I don't know but they I I I like the idea of the BS there I like I mean I understand the need to separate textiles from household trash and the D that was bins up when they were at Snell house and I had an opportunity to talk to them a few times you know he was happy because those those bins in his op in his opinion to me were pretty clean meaning people weren't throwing a lot of stupid stuff on the bins because by the road and he liked it he says this is really good for him and he liked it a lot I think he was picking up twice a week and the company was yeah a great location for getting stuff cash was coming in now oh my God they're just let us know we let them know and usually they've got it within 24 hours right immediately and then the other side of it I I think at one point Ken brought up the fact we we have had some residents talk to us that the bins in front of the smell house kind of look like not the best location they you know just was like yeah I mean if you remember when when when had his his BS right would stop there pile up all kinds of junk and and it really looked awful for years and years and years until run passed away and now the things looks pretty clean but those bins where they were facing the road like that we I had a couple of residents and I think Ken did well saying he you just don't like these things they look crappy and you find some purely out of vanity like I get it get complaints about trans even where it yeah yeah we can't be all things all people it's and and it is people have in terms to how things look at but there are people that I had people that had a screaming fit about how dare you close the trans station as well theard ofth so there will always be something for people to complain it's just so we work with it be flexible but right now we're in a position where change it yeah and I'm this is not a battle this is not a rational you know when somebody you don't try no absolutely not no back to space however I would ask that the Board of Health sh us how much money's been generated over the last six months or so and the Townes so the reason being is that like I have a true distaste for that whom may be the alleged neighbor whoever joh using threaten threaten violence whatever in order to get it away that is the worst kind of person so I'm going to ask that we Facebook market and we Market why we're moving them back it's due to violence at the drop off cycle and people are going to ask why we're say Nails glass whatever that created fandel unsafe space are vendor to employees and our residents and they should talk to the people living within that area for why this is because it's really up this I can't get I will sit there aesthetic but that was normal vote and there wasn't violence being it was hey don't this sure but that also wasn't a permanent space this is a very permanent location for these right it is it's perfect location you said it yourself it's crushing it's the perfect space for them and here we are giving in and I have a real strong distaste for that and I would encourage that alleged person to come talk to us but they don't seem to have the to do that and I think we should be careful how we that we don't want to sound Petty even but like that's public property that is the perfect location I'm not saying you don't have a say I sh your frustration so again like so I I just if it's a statement coming from the selectman I think you word it carefully well we need think about that statement I mean I'm not real keen on doing otherwise like all of a sudden the like the other family other side like you know what I don't like them anymore either and we're gonna start thr Nails out right what and then then right back in the same position well the only I mean the only you know I I I've thought this long hard as I said I love the good fight right but you know it goes back to you know is the juice Worth to squeeze and we're going to spend thousands of legal fees and you're not the only one fighting I will drop something off I might end up fighting the poor guy that drives the fight for all these people that are not invested in you are we need to provide a safe place and it's unreasonable for us to say well if he's threatening you take out a lawsuit or restraining work I think that may means it's not a viable spot so this is our if we want to battle it as a town but we can't have everyone else no we need to solve the problem they're our responsibility we need to solve the problem people are I know of several people that are choosing not to go there anymore because so word is out that it is not healthy not healthy to go there um simply by the fact them being moved we need to address the problem and apparently the best way to address this problem is to move them to a place and we can improve the situation where they're being placed to improve the Aesthetics of them maybe you can paint them dark GRE that's his trademark he can't do it it's his business plan callor whatever you know I get that we can ask because the reason do that the move right like have yeah so they're not yeah you can you can ask him if they can accommodate that I don't know certainly from what I I've talked to that guy a few times you know he's really a decent guy so he just does the guy that's here he did the truck is all organized he's got he's r a class operation and and I appreciate the fact he does that and I think this is very unfortunate spoil buck and it's sometimes just got to cut that loss problem that's just pushes it over I'm just saying that we have no solution here I'm saying we're just reopening a wound for for those folks that didn't like it you know the town likeing anything and there's all of things about change I've managed to suck yeah we can put this we can put the speed trailer in front of your house into a study yeah I know I want to push something right up on the side of the house I keep reading those strong towns things like yeah but yeah so and the trucks here down oh yeah for the jake break yeah yeah yeah oh yeah I would imagine that you've heard that a few times in the morning right and everyone else right along that spring yeah anyway so I I just there are people that don't like it but there's nowhere we're put it somebody's not and but it is a valuable resource service that provided and that it's really important to do what we can to keep this [Music] going the amount of staff time onp on cameras at least for this year exceeds we do oh trying to protect there yeah which Ison if you were to time we put this yeah with staff and the cost of Camas that been install in Highway it would ex certainly exceed and to continue and battle it to Legal everything it's just not smart it's not smart so uh are we going to put them where they were and then look at office post office on that road is that with this my my my colleagues can waiting on this is to put them on the road and ask um Highway the road Commissioners just grade that spot off because it's not double can't do that without don't have approval right they said we could put them there what they were asking put back yeah temporarily temporarily right they could be yeah I think if they're off I you know what I Karen's heard it I've heard I've had two or three people say to me boy they look ugly can't we put some our fence well the truth is we don't own that land and we're not going is not exactly it's it's not but those those containers don't enhanced any way right but I don't really consider this you know they don't like it they're pushing pushing they think get to move it immediately so the big question is do we talk to MCO about the post office Road it just leave it where it is thinking we might get a resolution on on that in the next couple of weeks or do we get them right where they were for the moment and then have to move them again what would you like to do would what do you think works put them back where work why don't we um they can be reoriented so they're not so like facing Street on why don't you could you vote to allow me to um work yes number one number one option on the side of the street the entrance way and then secondarily that is not going to work put it back where they were yeah that does that work yeah you okay that yeah I just [Laughter] think got rise above it getting it is I think people were concerned about it being the same issues that the library that it looks hidden and people gon abuse The Dumping pretty vulnerable to dumping when it's up like it's easy place to drop in after hours and couch those sit there watch the dog there are there are issues at L when it gets dark and you the in there many times with all kinds of stuff going on there and are could those bins be exacerbate that and someone just let someone fire for the hell of it I I don't know but there are a lot of field that parking lot at night has had issues in particular in the summer so I'm going to make a motion here that we um allow the bin Rel relocation to be negotiated by the Town Administrator with the present developer of the MUD district for a permanent or semi-permanent location for those bins okay is that okay perfect second okay all in favor yeah yeah oh the hospital's and so just by the way I know you're talk about transfer space right I I do want to make one comment I I I absolutely believe and I love the transfer station we went there Saturdays and we did more bullshitting we did anything else [Music] everything there you know it was always it was it was a community event to go to the transfer station on Saturdays but I will tell you that curbside has been good I'm gonna tell you that Shaw Shaw has done those guys have done an unbelievable job we have had issues with contain is not being empty and when they were called called they sent a truck that day or the next morning to pick up that container I don't know how it get any better than that and it has slowly there's a lot of push back early we had wanted to go with the local group want to work with us and so we just had to be quiet and little by little people have found it and it's grown and because we're not price gouy and having entry Lev prices and jacking it up and everything else working for and people it's they do they do a great they get a five they do they get a five best choice we ever made with them I know we had a couple of other vendors that were around when this was done and yeah I I I missed the social the transportation they were the ones that and in fact they were the ones that suggested it we were able to a lot of by going instead of the truck so I am so happy not to be running the transfer station trying to the service from loal good thanks for coming in all right our last thing is the before any will report minutes that yeah um okay so we are also looking at the annual annual report and the way we done giving some thought to how to refresh it and reink how we do it and um so Sue and I have been working on kind of looking through examples of how other communities um there's what they include how they it Etc and um can I help you um and so I guess I don't know I guess we're like into contest but um one of the things we were bring going to um bring some increased attention to the and engage the community is to is to have a pho res design changes so you please in some ways exercise 23 to 24 few things how we do it this one of the ways we to get moreen one are there other particular formats that you look at that you're finding to be so accessible or so the MMA has they give out awards for G yeah yeah so I just used those and kind of Taken taken those as good models to use um in some ways they're very similar not super super different they're far more attractive i' say the designs are more attractive but the substance of them is notely different in some Statics been very Pur yeah yeah I like the books actually keep the notes think they're kind of unique in that sort of though I guess on my death someone back years but I like the idea of mayw work on the front cover the back cover things like that might be nice making sure you have comfort I'd like to see some of the samples yeah I can okay um I right on you can see of f have Awards yeah this is a reference point be nice to we the award that we won Su oh website Kenny L was yeah remember that that's back in the day starting yeah sounds good we we don't have to no that do you want us to come back email or maybe we do we vote on something or recommend something next even or on the I think I want to see what will look like have some compar analysis before we just go off and and email or however good I mean we can look around at what other towns have but I don't know how it's would be interesting also to understand how many towns are still printing these I mean there was there was a point in time the prior Town assistant Town Administrator I think there was like 500 copies up in the attic yes I know I still print off I don't know I think last year we did 250 maybe we have like 30 left that's not bad really that's not terrible literally [Music] no I didn't burn them I put them in the recy in my Rec every week and it's not saying that ours will look like on I'm sending you just a mod yeah so I'm just you know Devil's Advocate I'm sure there were folks going to say w fix it yeah but so this is just to just refresh it make itan we don't it's more work for me it's definitely yeah so opinion is keep it the way it is then that's if that's the preference that's I like the idea having it on the website and you you what ption is ption is a Lo do a lot with documents you might have a 500 page document with you something about something if that worked on the website right you pull out High their annual I think that's yeah and that's so it's almost and it's the same size we used to have there big yeah little right used eight and half 11 I thought they were the small no they've been EA half look at a couple options defs keeping the wheel the same like to say that just remember except for har you know the you know let's spend too much money looking for Al we wouldn't spend any money on it Mone zero just work it's time it's just that's the case that's it will happen in fact if our budget isn't fixed we may not we may not be able to it is in my cuts [Laughter] it's all right anything else do a I'll accept that move second all right all those in favor of adjourning great very much everyone stay warmy
