you might as well move it so that it's outside so that it's conforming for the Bo of health so cuz right now I have to have title Pride done every year because it's too close to the lake M so we're moving into the other side of the house and and the leing field will be out here um there currently there's a driveway that goes across here we have to move here so theion Fields going to be closer to home street correct yeah and your garage is how far is it from the lake uh 52 but the house itself is from here 425 ft to the street and the leeching field is I believe it's 22 and this is all new construction uh yeah be tearing down houses if you gone by there it's I've kind of Let It Go that's where all the the containers are and all that yes yeah the containers are right here what is that existing house that's not the house right yeah the existing house that's there it's still there this one there oh that's house okay so these these houses Home Street all owned by and Sally could meetings in May I think that had a little bit to do with the confusion of the town meeting too though right but it was still Danielle's putting these communications out and then nobody responds to her nobody gets back to her so that's the other reason for communication preferences you've got a phone number you want to to called but so I know you two were here last we last month yeah you you saw the climate in this oh yeah it was hot well we can volunteer you know some of these people if if we didn't have a meeting today three or four of these people were going to get it through constructive approval anyway and they were just going to get approved because they didn't have a meeting so if that's how we want to go about it we can we just got to wait 90 days every time and then everyone gets what they want anyhow I mean this is the first yeah first I I got to be honest with you I've been on this board since 2011 and that's the first time that's happened so for us treated like we're abdicating our Authority in some way for the first time it's ever happened I know you're new but U but is is absolutely like this board has been through the ringer the last five years and and we've been sued we've been we've been You Know spoken that about I've had I've had stuff filed against me at the state so like the idea that we aren't putting in some skin into the game by being on this board is absolutely not the case but but I will say one way or the other I will say that the literally within a week of me signing my form to be reappointed for 5 years I then got an email and a phone call telling me that I needed to tell everybody when I just shown up at the town clerk's office to sign another 5year statement two days later you didn't show up at the actual meeting yeah yeah because this is a volunteer board and we have associate members understand we had interviews a year ago and says is everyone going to be there and no one responds yeah I was one of the reasons for that maybe I'm just stting myself I don't look at the Town email every day and and that's why we said communication ref people want it to their personal email if they want a text message doesn't matter to me whatever whatever is going to be the most useful communication just because I don't look at it two days or 3 days before the meeting I look at the calendar more than I do with something so she knows how to get in touch with so she not sitting there going it's I think email and text messages would be moreal us because if you s like days need a response that would be the way to get one cuz she said she normally sends out the agenda on Thursday M and that's when she asks you know who's who's with me she says she this is the first I still don't have access to the mple times I still don't have access it's been the second Monday of every month for I've been 10 11 years so I show up if I'm not going to show up I'll send an email out of the last 10 years I think I've missed two meetings right so I'm going to be I'm not even on a signature because I didn't let her know I know that but that I don't know why that was I was teasing but and I will like I get it but I I will say we have volunteered on this board to our personal detriment for over a decade many of us and to to get something like that after I did actually email her and let her know wouldn't be there in July uh and but but she said she never received anything but more importantly never got a response from her that she got it so and I don't think she's doing anything wrong I got to be really honest I added it to my email so now I see itation difficulties and that's why I said we if we need to move the meetings because of something great we can move the meetings I mean if she can send us the just a better way to get in touch like to get I think to get a hold of you two would and after July when I sent you the the emails or texts I had to go upstairs and find Caesar to find a phone number cuz Danielle didn't have anything I was like that seems ridiculous that we don't have it right here in the office to just shoot a quick yeah hey you guys around you I called you I left a voicemail so she said no one no one did not answer her I rep back to her sorry I won't be able to to attend because I'll be on vacation so if no one so if there's no one that reply someone did reply so again to say no one did not reply to her so when people most of the time again as uh Peter said this is a volunteering board so we volunteer ourselves so that's why I said well 12 months and one month out of the 12 months we're not showing off and because things come into our personal life it's such a big deal so we need to take that in consideration ites a deal when we don't have enough it becomes it becomes but it's not a big deal if some of us has some priority that we have to put before things correct to a volunteer job so that we need to have a little bit of uh respect and appreciation for that right I I agree with you I think if you're going to miss meetings we're going to miss meetings like I said the last time I've seen Peter was April and I'm I'm not trying to call you out it just that was the last time I've seen you at a meeting May you got screwed up with the other thing June we had to cancel it because we didn't have any response from enough people to have a quarum you know I don't want to drag people out here but then come may we start looking at people going well I've been waiting for three months what what do I do what what's my option what's my plan you know you may be volunteers on this board but these people were messing with their lives too and we have to be respectful of that as well we have responsibility for them yeah we do because as I said so we I'm that's going to be we're not going to be back and forth so if 12 months out of if one month out of 12 months you don't have six Buddies your seven bues we don't need six we need four so there four and it should not be we we can even do it with three just to get a continuance going you so I I will say to have to have weeks where we have last month we had two people show up you know it's tough for me to sit there and stare these folks in the face and say what do you want me to do they're volunteers sorry you know it's it's just not a great but that wasn't the tone of the we got the tone was let me know if you want to do this or else and that was I didn't write that yeah I'm not sure but but I got to tell you after all that we've been through for this board like I've been yelled at and I've been spoken ill out in in the entire town as had many of the people on this board to to randomly get an email after the the I had I had graduation week and I was away so and then it was on the you someone scheduled meeting for the town meeting so those were the three meeting that you hadn't seen me since April for and here I am so I don't think I didn't know about the one the next week there has been no list of meetings for this this year and I think it was because Danielle is new but I have no idea what date the September meeting is should I is that posted somewhere make her schedule we have you go online there's you have no idea you assume it's a second Monday of every month but may has changed May changed but for the most I'm say be better in putting it up but I think she's doing a great job I think she's sending out more stuff than ever but like I'm I'm not yelling at you or her or Cody or anybody for scheduling a zoning board meeting on the day that we all want to go to the town meeting but I didn't I didn't say anything about that but then when you just sat there and said I haven't seen you since April like what is that tone I don't understand that like I understand when I'm not here St yeah there was a tone to that though like I don't understand I haven't seen you since April you're right you just started a year ago you didn't see me in 2011 when I was sitting here doing this either so like I'm I I guess I just don't understand like I am very well aware of of what this board does I don't understand why I'm why we got the tone of that email and why like that this is going this poorly like I'm confused I I think reason I don't know that's what I that's what I want to figure out as well cuz I I want this to go easier and better for everyone involved I do know that for four years I was getting emails on my personal email and then they stopped yeah so and that's why like I said I I told Caesar I don't care what what email what phone number I don't care if we write smoke signals cool just I mean something whatever is going to work to be the the most prevalent way to get a hold of everyone so we can know send us an email or a text P one of the other both of them we just need you to write this down so Danielle has this information you to my knowledge when I asked her for people's personal she said I don't have no I'd be more than happy to give and I've added the email so I see with all the rest of so now every time she's sending stuff I'm seeing it like in with all the rest of my stuff so that that's fine but I mean I hav been on this board for 33 years I will probably missed a half a dozen meetings yes and the last meeting that I missed I had I wasn't wasn't in town it's meetings that can be missed meetings that sometimes you have to miss I get it but you they went on Facebook and like and they were like it's it's like I said last last month's meeting was T yeah just right so she has she has but make sure she but just make sure she has it all one place looking at her right so is she going to use a town if I have no problem using a town but I have no idea how any she wants an answer you can she give us a text message or an email if she wants it on through can work that with Caesar I I don't know what to tell you about the town that's outside of my last me you said something I said something we sat right here and talked to them yeah so and so that's why we don't want to create I I don't want her stressed out over something she can't control and if if the town email is the thing we can't control everything's Emil and we'll go to whatever we can to get yeah get the message out there with mine I had two Outlook accounts so they were like canceling each other it took it took me a while to figure out how to get it on here but now that it's on here I can I'm getting everything so personally I hate soem a great um the agendas but not like not the stuff so as far as our emails the agendas I like to see what the petitions are in fault because if I have to do any research on the bylaws I like to do that beforehand cuz showing up here I I don't beforehand to find no I can't but I like to know what they out even on on the website now that everything's going to be like this she can take that file and send it right to you you can have the whole thing which is which is but also sitting here I like to have some papers in front of me and look in the air and them out he he doesn't like my scrolling two different people want to look at different things different thought processes haven't jum back and forth on on there the plan the plan is to print out one set for the board and then have a set that's up on online as well it's going to take us a little bit we don't need everything in our pack but some things I think are necessary PL elevation drawings so if she sends you the whole packet and print out anything you on or I ask her to print it out for you I'll come in and use a town print that's fine if you tell me why you want to print out I'll print it out I I just don't want to keep printing out 20 packets of paper that we don't use I like the plop y elevation drawing sometimes come in handy a Butters list I like to see what's around the law just see what the ABS are maybe it's another house that's helpful not very necessary what I'd ultimately like to do is get you guys credentials to the office online thing because then you can sign on and see it anytime you want that's that would be awesome it's right there and available it's too you even if we create one just for CBA and everyone has the same credentials to sign into it or something but that would be then you can go in you can click through everything that she just put up there and it's all visible again this part of it it it's new for everyone here so we're we're kind of learning how remember number and that will just keep switching every year so that if somebody says oh yeah petition number at least we have it you know what you know what year to think it'd be easier to group everything in one acceptance of a petition as opposed to multiple uh motions is that a state level thing though typically you're supposed to vote on each one independently because if you give this one but you don't want to give that one for some reason that's that's the reason it gets done um I don't I don't know if you want to say on three special permits let's vote y or n and then the problem is if somebody doesn't with one but the other you could be four to one on one five five nothing on another that's typically why they get separated out so that if there is something that goes it becomes a little complicated but if that's the way they want it done do that if we change the zoning around the lake to allow smaller setbacks you'll have half the problems M and in laws well in laws are done those are oh those are state legal oh fantastic we we can't regulate them at all anymore other than setbacks yeah that's cool now access apartment any sort of dwelling unit that is attached or detached from a house wow detached as well mhm just has to meet the setbacks kids were get after all this they just poof it's all we just cut it down to six meetings right there you can rent out the house and rent out the accessory for the new state law now the accessor is what 900 sare ft any yep 900 or under yeah so that bylaw with two dwelling units on a lot is done it's it's overridden by the by 4A now they it's they want more correct yeah yeah yeah I they not getting the response they wanted with the MBTA so that's that's what they did tou delightful it's just Jam people in yep it is like I said you don't you don't even have to own the house you can rent the house here and rent the dwelling unit separately there's no more occupancy requirements wow no more relative requirements I so you you can put a 900t build a in the backyard and make it a well you don't even have to make it a barn anymore you sell shs right you sell sheds yeah I know all right wow that's a way to get some cash money I mean get might get weird tiny houses how many sheds I can put on the circle within the circle the circle the only place you can regulate it now again let's say there's a setback issue you can regulate that if it's detached chances are that's going to become a variance because it's you created a new nonconformity if it's attached you can create a a new non-conformity but you can't create it that you'd still have to is you'd still have to Grant the variance at that point if the if it met the three rules that's that's the only place and height those are the only real restrictions all these variances that we did tonight I mean in the past we would we were yeah we were kind of like mhm you know we were all looking at each other like okay going to do it I know it's but it's ebbed in float like it you know people still F involv yeah so I mean it's it's a different but you know they come in and tell us like that's not really just a quick update on the bylaw we're just about done wow now that we have to make some that's pretty impressive we got to rewrite that section rewrite that section now crazy we're pretty well Set uh we're going to send it to the planning board I think on the 20th of the month I think it's the latest either the 20th or 26th I think yeah somewhere there it's got to go to the planning board it's got to all it's going to come back here if everyone's approval you you read it you look at if you have questions you come back and we uh we go through all them but it's uh it's going to be going to the town special town meeting in the fall the same thing with the nbca be going that to that pretty well I think pretty on a fast track or the MBTA I mean it's the state rode it for us and now they issue with their own writings so I'm sure we're just at at this point it's going to depend on town meeting I mean we' got something we think abides by what the state requires now it's it's going to be up the town meeting to say yes or no and determine how funds get yeah allocated here or no longer the chance of it happening uh even if it passes it's going to take a while before could take a long time what are you talking someone can Implement anything on the MBTA it's a tough space to build on that extremely tough space to build you know we don't think going to happen it's as viable as it can be with almost not being viable yeah and this has been done by I think there's seven or eight other towns in the state have done the same thing they're doing can we just oppose it like Milton you can I don't care no money free money no money is free money it's all coming out mycket your state taxes go somewhere else cuz it's still to come out of your pocket it's just nothing going to come back if we have a solution then that's a solution to the problem yeah move a solution may be yeah so I mean it's better to live with the solution and still get the grants whatever you're going to get and to go ahead and fight them and cost you a ton of money and still be forced to do something so I mean I think we found the the right solution to it so we're going to have 40 R and the W folks home all that stuff and still 4 is never going to go away it's still no extra water that'll work out it's going to be it's going like Brook line Thor said you got plenty of water oh of course I did I got to tell you though that the fact that you guys have done the bylaws and you reviewed all that that was that's an undertaking like that's we know how how much of a mess that's been for long we've got it down so it's easy to read it's more sens you could still put another year in on that oh easy easy I mean you know we all had a lot of ideas on it and push back here and on it but uh just to get it going I
