so Mr Calo I we have two additional ballot questions to consider to get on um the ballot for the May election is that correct yes that is correct um as we were continuing to prepare the town meeting warrant and dockets we noticed that there were two questions that were missing uh and both of them pertained to the water and S Enterprises the first one is asking if the town uh will be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition 2 and a half uh the borrowings for the house Street water treatment plant in Ashland uh and this is a payment that would be consistent with our IMA agreement with Ashland as you know Ashland is our source for emergency water in the summer and then question eight um the second which will be the second question uh pertains to the design engineering and permitting support for the East Main Street water main replacement and I believe if the board has any questions krie is with us to answer those questions I don't know if I see Carrie Carrie are you on yeah yeah I can I can answer the questions okay fan can you hear us now you're muted yes I can hear you now okay great all right um so can you tell me the um the these are both will be paid for out of the water Enterprise funds or no um yes they will be paid for out of the water Enterprise uh and these will be borrowings under to be clear they'll be borrowings under the water Enterprise with the full Fai faith and credit of the Town though okay and can you tell us the total amount for question seven um for the house treat um replacement of the the ozone treatment system at the house treat plan any of the amounts yes that one is 958 th000 and then the second one is um the bond to pay for the design engineering permitting for the East Main Street water main replacement yes that's 400,000 okay so that's another 1.3 Mill million dollar um and it's through the Enterprise fund does anybody have any questions or fund oh you're muted yes um I do have one question um if it's being paid for through the Enterprise fund um why do we need the prop two and a half override even though it's being borrowed yes um here's why the borrowings are done under the full faith and credit of the town okay yes and the need for um for the for the Ashland pce yes um the the this is a life cycle issue the ozone treatment system uh has reached its end of life and needs to be replaced okay and under the IMA we share the capital expenses um relating to the Improvement of the system that are part of this water system that brings the water to Hing okay and do we know what it's going to cost uh cost as far as the rate payers go um how much of an increase we're looking at yeah we will have that number in time for town meeting as well as when the board sits down to do the water and sewer setting in
