2
00:01:02.545 --> 00:01:56.599
together Big Easy you're You're on the clock. First the security. We'll tell us a little bit about yourself and why like just like to have this job. Well, good evening, everyone. And thank you. Thank you, MR. CHAIRMAN, thank you to the council and residents of the Indianapolis coming to this role from South Bend, Indiana and excited about the opportunity to serve the people here as the new deputy mayor of neighborhoods served in the mayor's office, deputy chief of staff for a number of years recently served as the executive director of the New Parks and Arts, our Parks Department up in South Bend both. You know, understanding that, you know, south in

3
00:01:56.599 --> 00:02:51.720
Indianapolis both We understand that. But good government is one where I'm excited for the opportunity continue to serve, you know, continue to make those community connections here in Indianapolis part of my. Of collegiate career played at Butler University so play basketball there for the Bulldogs and then also then took that took that opportunity from going to school and playing basketball to iu Health and worked in numerous roles. There. So excited to be back within the community, excited to be able to take a lot of the experiences that I learned along the way along the journey and bring them back into this role with a phenomenal team a team of works really team of folks that are really dedicated to public service and daily work here in our community and also excited for the opportunity to

4
00:02:51.721 --> 00:03:44.672
work with each and every one of you within your districts and within your neighborhoods. Understand Indianapolis has a very diverse population and very diverse, a distinct areas. So I want to learn individually, which each neighborhood and the people in those neighborhoods, what they bring and what and what requests we can get across the finish line. There's a lot of work to be done and had. So I'm excited to be able to add value to that and other than that, I'm excited. Really excited to be here. I think this is a fun of phenomena phenomenal opportunity. It's great momentum here in Indianapolis. All the work that's happening. And so happy to answer any questions that you might have. Thank Any questions or counselors comments counts of arson. Can

5
00:03:47.911 --> 00:04:33.422
you you MAY have never engaged in. Can you sketch out what your plan is to connect with neighborhoods and near their priorities and how the city would help engage with them. It's a great question for me. You know, as I said earlier, want to get to know each neighborhood individually. Again, a lot of the work that has to take place is I have to listen first have to understand what's going on. Still early in the process of learning, you know, the full picture and landscape of the different areas. But we have phenomenal team. The mayor's neighborhood advocates who been starting to meet individually and working with them to understand what's happening in these neighborhoods and how we can best serve of those folks. And so my approach is very simple. Listen, first, ally resources where we can and act act. We can and then also followed

6
00:04:37.361 --> 00:05:25.800
her. You know, the questions councilor because for of us, we thank CHAIRMAN. So asking for a response for this because you really only been doing this job for about a minute so this is this is a heading issue and it's giving an example. So like, for example, in my council district in the last several weeks, there's been too much away shuns where their man. Gunfire and then one of them death in multiple people due responsible. Homestead Airbnbs. So I'm its of working within the administration to help facilitate that. But everywhere I go, in fact, I have ensure again, this mean for not to get to work plan to have a discussion with There are people who are expressing high level of concern about Airbnbs. So that's a challenge

7
00:05:25.800 --> 00:06:10.619
for us because we're limited by what we can do from the General Assembly. But there's more we can do internally. So I 7 meeting next week where I bring together various folks within the city and county staff folks with legal background to think this through. So that's a great example to me of something you should really get involved with hollowing out here and that's like. Something not only affect my district but all districts because the proliferation of Airbnbs and how even though we're limited from the city from the state perspective, how we can more from the city perspective. So I want to bring into that. And that's a great thing that is happening, city-wide that really needs. I think someone in that role to jump into Thank you, counselor. Any cancer Thank you, MR.

8
00:06:13.790 --> 00:07:28.599
CHAIRMAN. Us together that I see had experience with golf course management. Open. Any suggestions or ideas on how to better manage the Indianapolis Golf course. Portfolio? That's a great question. Had an opportunity to meet with the golf division or or parks and rec. So I'm looking forward to that opportunity to learn more. Happy to follow up and how I can best take my experience from south bring it down here. Great. Any other question. Counsel seeing none anyone the audience are like speak on this. Seeing entertain a motion second, all those in favor say Aye. I oppose no welcome. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Up next, is a gay treasure. MISS Everyone who looks like you have to. 2 items, correct? Right. We're going break it's a little show and tell

9
00:07:31.937 --> 00:08:34.430
tonight, by the end floor, ok? Yeah, starting at the top of the agenda with proposal. Number 94, just so everybody knows Barbara Sigal here this evening by Rodney Shot and the chief deputy treasurer. And we want to talk about paperless bills might. And it's kind of a funny We started this initiative put thought 6 months ago where we wanted to point and pop and increase. Our numbers for paper was built 18 because it saves us about $0.80 to make all person we get signed up on paperless. It takes us about So we undertook this initiative. Can someone said estimated that the I thought, you know, it's a good thing. Maybe a look and see just to see what the ordinance as I discovered we had ordered, so originally drafted in 20 allowed and

10
00:08:39.337 --> 00:09:33.289
somehow no one knows when that was a fighter and the treasurer's office ordinance in 2012, it was eliminated. So I'm here to got it. Then head to partner local government. 5 fans and put this ordinance in essentially the exact same version of what was considered in 2011. And it's still and we've been doing nothing different play. I just sense trying to ramp this program up. It would be a good bet to to nearly half the ordinance in place. So isn't that a story? Thank you, Barbara. My question. People still, Howard, the coupon, if they want to mail their taxes, correct? Well, think I get I just write checks is that how

11
00:09:36.161 --> 00:10:26.450
still happen that way? You're a pro, but you still get when you can print that this way, you can go online, online. Basically if they want have that option, can do they're paperless or This merely saying that your tax bill will be in you would set up how you choose to pay. Is still you can mail and the check. You can go You can come to the treasurer's office. Surprising like there are a number of people that still come to the treasurer's office. County Bar. In MADAM Just tune in to just the industry standard is moving in this direction. Essentially the industry standard other counties doing

12
00:10:26.450 --> 00:11:21.833
this both here and across the country. It also a little surprising. I to to some other counties to research some property a lot of actually. APRIL, let's bill funding. We have it. I'm so since 2011 when the original pension with original ordinance was introduced, it's something. Like I said, we have about a 50,000 a little under 50,000 right now. I'd really like to get that up to 75,000. But I think in most counties that this is the way their account. Spurt yes, a Thank you, MISTER CHAIRMAN. Thank you. MADAM Treasure. Quick question online payment. It's if I

13
00:11:24.637 --> 00:12:19.724
understand is still one percent service fee of your tax owed. If you pay credit card or debit card, it's 2.5% okay. I'm a does come to the county or the treasurer's office. It's a feat that's assessed by her 3rd party developer which waste, clap. And when they get she ate that that to a that go from 2.6 5%. Okay. Is that in industry standard? Because my experiences you want to go on line because that's the quickest way to do it. But I I was racing $50 just to do that. And I thought that seems a little high. Well, I do want to say if you pay bit here, check kinda routing number and account number. It's $0.95 at substantially lats. And I'll

14
00:12:20.626 --> 00:13:09.973
tell you, we have and just because I'm curious what's out there. We've been meeting with a number of companies. I'm pretty satisfied what we're paying. It's in the ballpark of the effort reach sure. So you always wanted to be as low as they can. Yeah, I think when look, going to ardent extender. We would hit that hard. Yeah. And can start should also add for for the people who do pay online, roughly 85% pay to their checking account, which which dramatically reduced Fisher. Credit cards just to build a travel points. I mean, that's can do. Everything that way. So what happened to 50 bucks? A pop makes me think you.

15
00:13:13.680 --> 00:14:10.270
Thank you that. Yes. And no a new CHAIRMAN. Good. Thank I appreciate walking through that. And that with with property taxes, just do $0.95 very easy. So understanding the role, the treasurer's office you know, collecting managing and investing property taxes for the financial institutions that you are using. For those services. Do they offer a guess that kind of in line with man you are? Vice PRESIDENT Barth was going. Are there? Is it a small group of companies that are providing these like payment or minute services or like the larger institutions that are coming in and having an opportunity to manage the significant amount of money on behalf of the city. Are they moving into this space at all as like a in terms of payment processing

16
00:14:10.270 --> 00:15:03.957
and doing some of the space that would kind of over the long run. Lower the cost for taxpayers and make it a little bit easier. I'm gonna start. It gets from the question. Think you're gonna task Rodney to sort a up with it. Surprised we saw to meet with company. He's there are a lot of firms hear this. Do this and some of larger booked a chase off or something like So there our sense energies that we could probably realized we had a banking relationship established with right now. Those are 2 separate functions. Is that what said, hey, and we manage all of our

17
00:15:03.957 --> 00:16:01.446
money and turned what we don't have a 3rd party. Key has but there are a number of firms that are out there. It's very competitive market. We are in the process right now and you will be hearing more about this and the next presentation. But in the middle of implementing a access trying to sort of things lined up. We don't want it and eat access are given a new payment system. So that s probably something more look at in the next year. So anything have. Yeah. The the large financial institutions are becoming more and more full full So when it comes to card services no county accounting services. They want the integration to. It's good for for say, because the

18
00:16:01.548 --> 00:17:00.606
bigger banks that could do it all. It helps integrate reduces fraud and hopefully over time. Also reduces costs. Any other questions. And one other comment on the credit cards. My business is recharge 3% for the credit cards. But debit cards are free and you consider that. Bank's at figure that out. They exactly and we want to get the shaded for a but 8 a couple of years ago, I specifically broke the 2 at He said, can we charge a lower rate for a debit card? Because those are funds that are automatically available plan. I thought they should be treated They beat the building company for first to think plastic has plastic. Whether it's a debit card, credit card white feels like $0.15 for me.

19
00:17:00.675 --> 00:17:49.880
So, you know, you might ask that question any other comments or questions anyone the audience like speak on in a motion for community. It's a saying it all those in favor say Aye. Aye, almost Thank Really. Should. Those want the puzzle 20 and this right here. It's a beautiful cash calendar. And let me start by saying this. It's a old that It's ended at the end of useful life. And we have new currency that's coming out at the end of this year. And I think one year it's 57 in the next year it They have told us that they won't support the ascending. Basically, you just put the cash in there and it like like the name says it.

20
00:17:52.159 --> 00:18:40.205
Coutts the cash. So we are seeking an additional appropriation. We try to muster through last year and get this done. But we didn't have enough characters for budget. So we are coming play asking for an additional appropriation of $20,000 which would from the general as additional appropriation to our character. 3 budget to buy 7 new cash cow numbers. Thank you. Far. Thank you. So that's news to me that so the United States is attending the security components of cash. Is that what's happening? And that's think you and the goodness of canoe machines that it can be programmed when

21
00:18:41.275 --> 00:19:21.480
there's a new currency so that we have to come back to you. Every time there's a new self, it's a Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I only and that interesting story. I had $100 bill from the 1950's that a new machine did not count. So while we think about the new currencies, I want to flag for you all. I do. I have go in and like it wasn't just a marker. They were scratching and smelling because of the way. The paper will. And it would look really good because it was old but well taken care of Bill. And so just keep that in mind as you go with those new cash counters that I'll be supporting. But it's it's the

22
00:19:21.480 --> 00:20:20.406
older ones that are getting counted and so keep that in mind. Any other counselor thank you, CHAIRMAN. So says we this has been really good education on on. If you a little hard work you all So just kind of maybe complete the conversation. What you talked a lot about it, the proportion taxpayers who are using your billing system and all that. So about how many? Property tax? Players use cash. I can give you a ok? It's helpful look back to about 1.7 billion in property taxes and about 20 million that is kept it's not a huge amount. But so another funny story is when I first took over a stretcher, I had people telling me that people would break grocery bags of cash a

23
00:20:24.780 --> 00:21:27.507
knife fight. Yeah, right. It what happens live appreciative of the start are, you I was in. I appreciate that. I think and putting that and scale, you know, we are spending very much support this proposal, but it's it's it's lot of lot of cash. Not just a few 100 bucks is coming I told you the original version was started looking. We told them what we want When I get the numbers that we had further discussions and the envelope a little bit. So We're getting what we Any other questions. Seeing none real quickly do is do they come in a bags and bags of coins just because you just grow. We have $1000 worth pennies. We the Cajun to have people that will bring it. As many pennies they can hunt actually, we like because there's I can't make sure

24
00:21:29.478 --> 00:23:14.581
machine recount that too this machine know. I understand going with Susan, Correct? All right. Anyone from the audience like speak on this, seeing entertain a motion second second, all those favor say Aye. Aye. Those 9. Thank very much. We appreciate your consideration. Up next, a proposal one 21 approved additional 1.1, $180,000 to the budget who is presenting this one? For information services agency. Good evening, MISTER CHAIRMAN and members of the board committee, which is take a second to get our presentations have happened. Good evening. My name is Kate Coating the chief digital officer for Information Services agency. I'm here with Kevin Warren chief operating officer. And today I'm here presenting our 2026 fiscal ordinance, our spring fiscal requests. I think, is

25
00:23:14.616 --> 00:23:58.660
requesting 1001.1, 8 million dollars in additional appropriations. This investment protects service, reliability, reduces future operating and replacement costs. Meet state requirements and prepares our enterprise for major system. Transitions that are on the horizon, including next generation 9-1-1, preparedness alignment with data for our property tax system that the treasure mentions in her last presentation. All projects directly address operational risks or reduce future financial exposure. I'm going to now go through some of the projects that we have planned for this and bit more detail. Their request leverages, I say fund balance property reassessment dollars and the state of Indiana grant funds to reduce pressure on any single source as well as a

26
00:23:58.660 --> 00:24:45.607
lighting projects with the most appropriate funding source. You'll see here, the project mixes ranging from infrastructure refashion, phone line, infrastructure, edge device, refreshed. Filed migration and our GIs improvements which is slated to be reimbursed by the state. So we'll through these projects in a little bit more detail. All right. For infrastructure. We flash this is part of a 1.1 multi-year investment, a five-year lease and includes the request is for $300,000 to replace aging infrastructure required for secure stable enterprise operations. And this work is essential to ensure liabilities, cybersecurity, resilience and capacity for going. Our digital services. We are anticipating an

27
00:24:46.709 --> 00:25:32.820
additional $800,000 and annual Co it supplemental funding to offset this cost. Our phone line, infrastructure modernization is slated to replace obsolete. Copper telecom circuits as these are lines are urgently being phased out by major telecom carriers in favor of fiber optic Floyd than cellular networks. Without this project in the planning around it, the 20 20th circuit costs are projected to triple. So this is a cost avoidance. This creates significant new operator which would create significant new operating costs this one time. And that's not on prove called cloudy quality, reduce our maintenance cost of wave substantial long-term expenses. Edge today. Sri fast

28
00:25:34.324 --> 00:26:30.411
projects recovered Covers necessary upgrades and his plan to be fully rate reimbursed by the state. This work is for network test access points or taps and packet brokers. These tools are critical in detecting threats, checking network segments and supporting other says cyber security tasks and they provide a clear view network traffic without slowing things down. Extremely important, particularly around election traffic. And it's these are needed to make meet requirements and analyze information in real time. All right. I cam a file migration using property reassessment funds. This project's modernizes legacy, apex files around camera and migrates them into file format that meets the requirements of our new platform. This it work is crucial for data continuity from between the 2 systems as we prepare to migrate and

29
00:26:31.314 --> 00:27:26.734
ensures future sustainability. For the for both the auditor assessor and Treasure. And the last project is their state of Indiana. I g I o their geospatial unit grant that was awarded in JANUARY 2026. It will be reimbursed quarterly and it plans to enhance foundational GIs data sets, address roads, parcels emergency boundaries. And again, this is a preparation for the n g 9-1-1, requirements which ensures that when a call is made it Geo locates to appoint versus the close a cell tower. So very important work, as you might imagine. And it also aligns with a national emergency number association standards and again strengthens our long-term quality consistency and audit audit ability. Thank you. Think your visitation, anyone

30
00:27:28.771 --> 00:28:15.185
have the comments council Thank you for the presentation. Looking at the slide deck, can you expand some more? The detail of the modernizing aging infrastructure. What that means more specifically. I'm going to I love It's it's our servers. But I'm gonna turn it over to Kevin. For more details. Sure. Sure. This is a aging server infrastructure a lot of the servers that we manage application database servers, cetera, our own infrastructure that's aging going and the life. Even within the next year. So the plan is to get ahead of that purchase. The new hardware and equipment starting to migration. Well, ahead of that, so we can maintain operations on new new

31
00:28:15.185 --> 00:29:10.640
hardware. So it's a officer versus what the infrastructure is. Fact banks it is part of we are we are leveraging layering on a cloud migration strategy as well. So we're not fully investing in on Prem that. We're at this is part of diversified Is that is that Amazon cloud servers and says that he we currently leverage as your Thanks. But some folks in the city county to leverage a double. Yes, Any questions conservation. Thank you, MISTER CHAIRMAN featured presentations it briefly looking at you are slide of the improvements showing all the balances. He refresh, which of these? The money and are being reimbursed by the state. The state of Indiana grant funds lined the the final line in the chart for 30,000 will be reimbursed quarterly and the edge device

32
00:29:10.875 --> 00:30:21.110
refreshed for 250,000 will be reimbursed as well. Uk. Really for city county money. Then the numbers that 1.1, 8 minus the reimbursement amount. Yes, we need that fiscal prefer budgeting even out certain. Yes, thank you. Any other comments, questions? Anyone the audience like speak on this. Seeing none entertain a motion second. All those in favor say aye. Oppose. We have 1, proposing. Looks like Rosalynn. 22 crews additional appropriation of one 276,008 0, 9, In the 26 Office of Education, Innovation, State things he had to work. Good evening concert, MR. CHAIRMAN and committee members, my machine. Can also sign the director of the Office of Education. Innovation. And I'm here to. After consideration

33
00:30:26.250 --> 00:31:18.535
of a fiscal the past. 456. $1809 for a grant appropriation grant that we are has already been awarded from the Department of Education and then $120,000. A test from our fund balance. I'm going to a little bit more detail about these the grant request is something that we received in DECEMBER and just this has been the soonest that we could come back to you for that appropriation. This grant is designed to support authorize or innovation activities. We really were given a lot of opportunity to decide what our office needed. So we are using that to improve a variety of different systems and practices that we undertake on behalf of schools, including looking at the performance frameworks that we used to measure schools against getting the benefit of some outside perspective. Another

34
00:31:19.170 --> 00:32:07.617
experience as we continue to always seek to refine those and make sure that we seeing up to date and really aware best practice. We're also doing some work to better engage families and communities in communicating with us that kind of opened the door for the fund balance request to modernize our compliance platform. We currently use a sales force base platform that. We have been told. He's no longer able to be updated. It was designed for us and of the spoke back in 2016 and as we continue to have issues year-over-year. So this was an opportunity after diving into some of these different grant activities that we really wanted to get ahead. I get ahead of any potential issues as this is the platform that our schools use to submit information to us, to communicate with us and a variety of ways. And it

35
00:32:07.618 --> 00:32:58.302
really forms kind of underpinning of a lot of the interactions we have with them. And so we need to be reliable. We need to be able to evaluate that information and received things in a. Efficient way. None of this new dollars and that $156,000 would be reimbursed by the state. Just a little bit about us as pressure members from previous budget sessions. We are self funded agency an administrative fee that we assess to schools every semester. It's one percent of the foundation funding that they receive from the state. That all of those dollars can only be spent per state statute and her school authorizing. And so for that reason we have hour kind of conservative budgeting over the years I think a healthy fund balance. And so this

36
00:32:59.971 --> 00:33:52.923
effort would allow us to really improve a critical piece of our office's work. Still maintain all of the various reserves and Sharon says that we need to continued budget responsibly. So i appreciate your consideration. Happy to answer any questions. They do. Council Wells. Thank you, MISTER CHAIRMAN. Thank you so much. The director of Yes, thank you. Director process. Just want to be clear is. Are you staying with Salesforce? Then you're just giving a new product bill are you going to a different platform? So we're just we're sparring with options. Look like. Part of the reason for size of the request is because sales force development in general can be expensive. So we're working really closely with I say, in exploring what would be necessary improve the

37
00:33:55.393 --> 00:34:41.105
system that we have. And we are also looking at if there are other vendors who are better position to help us without having to make that kind of investment. So we've I was in the meeting actually other day. So we really are trying align on what is the best use of dollars. Not only in for this one time a cost, but also on ongoing basis. So it's going depend on what we find out. And in the process of receiving those proposals. Because there's some good resources in the Indiana Philanthropy alliance. I think for an education based initiative, there are a lot of funders out there that would and also product builders data board builders that can help with that communication. But I'm happy to talk a little bit off line. I've done some of these things in my day job

38
00:34:41.506 --> 00:35:35.659
with trying communicate our people at the same time and track grant funds and things like that. And then report back. So just really thank you for your presentation tonight and here to support the charter school. And fund as well. The grant by the state. Thank Thank you. Thank you, counselor. Kgo Thank you, MR. Chair just so I guessed that curious the so you're just at the exploration stage of what the new software might be is. So you referenced, you know, this goes back to the sort of the inception of oh ei and the early days of Indian, a charter school authorization that decade sense. Have you talked to the other charter

authorize ERs and is there has there been a standard in all those years? Or does everybody every charter authorize or do there own thing? It depends. There are existing vendors who do work specifically with charter schools and charter school authorize ERs and design software for the purpose of come compliance platforms and other similar efforts. And there are also authorize ERs just as you can imagine, of varying sizes and ability resource who Google, Google Drive. So you kind of do see a spectrum as you know, we. We you know, a partially that requires that we, I think are and also data system and security requirements that necessitate something a little more complex Google Drive and

40
00:36:24.743 --> 00:37:10.454
we're not really permitted to do that, of course. So we are looking into some of the more robust options to make sure that we have something they can accommodate the volume of information that we receive. So part of this is trying to be smart about timing. We've been having conversations with vendors. Also. I've been working very closely with I say, to understand what our options might be, too. Do development to forgive me, not being kind of fluent application development myself, but there are some options we could pursue because we have a some grant obligations that do require us to to understand where this compliance platform is landing. I wanted to do as much as I could to get ahead of it. And if we do go existing vendor, which I say would guide us through that, that process as well. This

41
00:37:13.425 --> 00:38:01.138
would allow us to not have to renew our contract again next year with sales force because there would be a little bit of just a phase out in transition into working with any system. They the so a guest. Thank you for that. The in later I guess what you're saying that and we are I think we're the largest, if not one of the largest charter authorizes in the state. If we do create Custom solution is there an opportunity for other charter authorize or so? I guess looking at and aipac and now IPs exploring the possibility of becoming authorize or some selves. Could we either share or could we host on their behalf? Could there be one server, 2 instances because as you're exploring, is that a

42
00:38:03.376 --> 00:38:51.123
possibility that? Weise we set the standard for the state what others use, whatever recreate, but obviously reimburse us. That has not been something that we've explored. I would say. We are really kind of looking at what is best for our office today. If there are future conversations that happened within those different entities about best-practice sharing or the ability collaborate with course of the opening. Have those conversations our sales force base platform has been outdated for a little while. And so it really trying to get ahead of those those issues. And if there is more good, the greed and I'm always happy to work with the other authorize ERs to make sure that we you can share those things amongst ourselves think. Thank PRESIDENT Luiz. Thank you, MR. CHAIRMAN, thank you for your presentation and all the work

43
00:38:52.250 --> 00:39:46.577
that you do each and every day. On behalf of our kiddos to questions. Now, are we one of the larger who's in the state of Indiana? Yes, know that pop, ok? Thank you for that. I wasn't aware that 2. Will any of these dollars go towards the newly formed aipac? Supporting task thank you. Cancer bars. Thank you, MR. CHAIRMAN, just a quick question. The from the state that's you described as intended to help sort of keep in tune with the industry and what's happening called wise around the country your office as the PRESIDENT Just just pointed out, one of the largest ones. But also I in my view, one of the best ones. His long been a discussion about making ideally having a limiting the authorize ERs for

44
00:39:46.679 --> 00:40:33.758
Marion County to Marion County entities. But that's here there. My my question can you just catch out? What are some of the trends that are happening with authorizing because authorizing is so important, know, charter schools going to be successful unless there's sufficient authorize or behind the scenes for a pain the tail attention and making sure can ability structures are in place. So has there been movement are new thinking and how the authorization process should work? I'm just curious that where the state of the of the Turner authorization industry how much time do you have yeah, that's a big that's a big bite than me. Just give us a to within 2 minutes so just like with education, our industry is also always evolving. I'd say reason we like to return to it is

45
00:40:33.927 --> 00:41:14.868
because as different metrics are ways of measuring understanding how student data should be use. Understanding how organizational data should be used. Those things are changing, too. And so when we can go out and talk with other other practitioners, other experienced authorize ERs, why they're still working in that space or in other ways to kind help develop the entire industry. We can always get better. So there's not one thing I guess. But knowing that some authorizing shifting towards what about the ways that we can ensure that schools are being held accountable to the promises that they're making to our community and also waterways operators can position to support them in whatever way their offices able to do that. So we're always exploring.

46
00:41:14.968 --> 00:42:04.815
What does that balance look like? We are looking at you know, from a financial standpoint, are there new ways to to to get a better understanding of how schools are performing financially? Are there new things being tried in other states that we should be aware of often? We are finding that we do have a very solid and high-quality performance framework, but I'm never satisfied just to rest on that. And so with some additional resources available from the state, I want to make sure that we are really leading in this area and setting a high standard, not just for Indiana, but for the entire country. Thank you. Any other questions comments seeing none. Anyone in the audience like speak on Seeing none emotions moved. And second, all those in favor say Aye. Aye opposed. Thank you

47
00:42:06.854 --> 00:42:11.323
PRESIDENT Reagan. Nothing else. If seen are adjourned.
