to the boys cross country team who received third place overall in their division three weeks ago on Sunday November 3rd all 10 students from the cross country team who ran in the run for roses and wall earned individual medals buer is currently holding tryouts for girls and boys basketball teams wrestling and cheerleading on November 15th students from the drama club music classes and four other classes attended a class trip to count Bassy theater and Red Bank to see the play The Color Purple all students said they enjoyed it very much on Monday November 18th the gifted and talented students went on on a class trip with their teacher Miss Ley Antonio to Dixie Le Bakery where they learned behind the scenes of what it was like to run that establishment when they were finished they got to decorate their own cupcakes in beginning of November there was a schoolwide book fair where students had an opportunity to select books and a variety of other items on October 28th All Fier students put on their best smile for this year's school pictures the annual big 8ighth grade group picture was taken yesterday on November 18th and the graders had a chance to purchase one for themselves this will be added to the previous 35 pictures that are displayed in the entrance to our school we are hoping to included in our class of 2025 yearbook also on November 18th for the for the assembl attended by individual grade levels to to see a presentation given by the behavioral health group on the topic of conflict resolution for the first marking period we had nine students in the sixth grade three students in the seventh grade and six students in the in eighth grade who made the high honor the honor R in addition to that there were two students in the sixth grade two students in the seventh grade and one student in eighth grade who made the high honor Natalie benett and Paul hersel were rers sixth grade November times of the month Valentin Valencia Serrano and Bianca santania were the seventh grer Titans of the month Karan hogin and Jessica lame were folders eighth grader times of the month the eighth grade had elections for class officers and executive committees at the beginning of November their first fundraiser was a very successful event they called Goble grams they created baked and decorated little turkey Pops to sell with Thanksgiving greetings to a friend family member or someone special at our school the Joseph for bu Middle School would like to extend wishes for a very Happy Thanksgiving to everyone thank [Applause] you thank you and then from the high school we had Kayla Rivera and Juliana Alonzo November has finally been the month of giving at kingburg high school the Titan 5K was last weekend and with over 60 Runners and or Walkers as well as a ton of volunteers a large donation was made towards Tunnels for towers and that is just the beginning the KHS Key Club is spending the second part of their half day on Thursday with our seniors at the Bayshore Senior Center serving them a Thanksgiving lunch and playing a variety of games and activities the envir environmental Club is hosting a beach cleanup this coming Saturday the National Honor Society has been hosting a Thanksgiving food drive and is still asking for donations which can be dropped off at the high school office until November 27th some other exciting news is that the drama club has begun preparation for the musicals auditions were held today and again the drama again tomorrow for all KHS students as well as eighth grade Boulder students the play is scheduled for March 7th the Junior and senior class held their first ever Powder Puff match right before fall break the seniors met a disappointing defeat at the hands of the junior class but it was an absolute glass for all that played and watched especially with our football players sharing with pom pom on highes finally our school base took students to led by Tiger to launch their test applications to raise awareness and share resources involving substance abuse at MTH University overall it's been incredible month at Kingsburg High School I would like to wish everyone a Happy financial documents and any I have something to say the negotiations committee has been working with the Kaa for several weeks and we're almost there with the contract the guides have been established Miss Amy Dolan's class I believe maybe Tuesday Wednesday last week getting all I don't remember but we had an amazing time the students were amazing I spoke in the music room so I had a captive audience so we had a nice meeting very awesome time so this Thanksgiving if anybody wants a hot meal if anybody home the Trinity Church in Asbury Park which is 503 Asbury Avenue is having a hot meal from 11: to 1 so no one's alone so if anybody wants to go down there it's actually an amazing time if Pat sees that you're not having enough Foods you'll give you more so you're not going to leave there hungry um the tree liting for the bur Kingsburg is December 2nd the rain dat is the third I believe there may be a guest from the North Pole coming I'm not sure but um and as always from my Beach in Middletown we had officers and first aid members there walking off Street and helping um all the participants especially we had some admins that I know do not live in town I really do appreciate you coming kids seeing you coming here on the weekend and it's not they usually expected to be here um but everybody who ran worked it it was an amazing event um I want to congratulate all yeah so back in uh what was it mid October we as a board and some of the administration go down to Atlantic City for National Convention and when we go down there we learn different pieces of information from not only schools but other varieties of knowledge that we to expand our knowledge um down there came across a piece of information uh something a little bit different that we don't normally talk about is uh green energy and it shows that we not only are cost savings but we're also looking to the Future um according to this piece of information we are about the 80% um and we're in the top 10 in M County so it looks like we're heading in the right direction and towards a new future good numbers to say and of course happy Thanksgiving thank m co just thanking everyone for
