the side we will start off with the buer super uh buer St student representative reports we have Emily Rivera Reyes and Katherine Lindberg current happenings at Joseph R Bulger middle school January 2024 the Bulger Middle School spelldown will take place January 18th at 600 p.m. in the cafeteria the 8th grade students had their cap and gown pictures tasing last week parents will be able to purchase them and they will be featured in the class of 2024 yearbook our wrestling and basketball teams are still in full swing we have many students and faculty members coming out to support the them at these events the sixth grade students of the month for December were Mohammad mugal and Skyler lavy the seventh grade students of the month for December were Logan schinkel and Ashley Bailey the eighth grade student of the month for December were Daniel Ludi and Brian Sorano maroin the end of the second marking period is Friday January 26th thank you thank you very much great job as always from the high school we have Gabriella Rivera good evening so as you all know winter break came and also eventually um left but we are in the middle of the winter sports season the boy the boys basketball team is very young and is under the new coach Walts this year this year the girls basketball team is also under a new coach coach Ferraro they in the process of building the team the wrestling program record is 5 and3 with Dominic Tiano be becoming the Titans first short Conference tournament medalist and help give the program its highest team finish at the shore Conference tournament our bowling program is doing well for the season the boys team is Young and has great potential as for the girls they are working hard and are doing well this season the next sporting events are as followed Bowlings Thursday at bolo at 3:30 p.m. the boys basketball has a game on Thursday which is home at 3:30 the girls basketball team has an awake game at Jackson Liberty which is at 4:15 p.m. and wrestling's away at Brick Township at 5:00 p.m. the guidance department has also been organ organizing therapy dogs to come in weekly for the students and staff everyone has been benefiting from The Tender Love of the dogs midterms are next week in the high school which will follow the one session Day schedule with noon dismissal Monday through Thursday only the high school will be following the schedule sorry more as the year moves on we have been getting a lot of students with college app application College acceptance which are starting to roll in so far we have Aubrey gleon with Long Island University in Wheaten College Angus merrison which um Brookdale College Daniel Usman Sean Hall University Ariana Lawrence Rowan University Oliva Castillo Ron University and Kane University sir Beth Cruz of swo University and University of Utah William Amy which NJIT Alexandra morero Mary Mount Manhattan College and emberson college Bianca Sanchez Ramirez Monclair State University and Kane College Kane University as well as we also have a lot of fundraiser fundraisers at the high school at this moment with the class of 2025 still having its weekly Wings fundraiser the class of 2026 and 27 are having a Valentine's basket raffle until February 9th the key Cloud will also be selling Valentine Valentine's candy candy Gams the class of 2026 is hosting a Madden competition beginning February 1st also next week more information will be coming out about the student council and the four classes designer B Bingo and gift auction keep your eyes peel for
