members for their dedication and hard work together we've CH faced challenges headon and achieved important Milestones that have positively impacted our community I would also like to welcome our newly elected council member councilman Piper your decision to serve our town reflects your commitment to making counter worth the best it can be I look forward to your fresh perspectives IDE ideal ideas and energy you bring to the council I am confident that together we will accomplish great things for our residents this new year is a time of reflection and renewal together we've achieved much and I'm deeply deeply grateful for the progress we've made in strengthening our community ties improving services and fostering economic growth but with every new chapter comes the chance to build on our successes confront new challenges and set new goals for the future this year let's continue to prioritize collaboration transparency and and Innovation as we work toward the shared Vision we have chose continue progress and Innovation here in Kenworth we want to be part of what helps Kenworth and no matter what side of Island there are or anything like that reality is is we all the same cost returning Joe fella and Savino I'm so happy to see you in that chair sitting as council president here tonight so so uh it's going to be a great year uh Carmen I didn't pick up on the bipartisanship of the mayor holding the Bible but that really happened and I think it is a sign that this is going to be a good year and I know in working with Council woman J Downer on councilman Bo we're going to do great things because we're able to so thank you and Laura you're stuck with us now you just remember you sign up thanks everyone definitely yeah we're welcome we're happy to have you back I'd also like to congratulate savan scarice on being the president Council council president uh dou Piper uh ironically the ties go back to little leag I coached his son and we both coached in little Le and uh things come for Circle and on a satad note um prayers and condolences go out to the people in New Orleans that unfortunately lost their lives and one of the famous presidents Jimmy Carter mhm um y other than I'm sorry you say that but um congratulations thank you thank you Joe for making note of that you always remember those I'd like to welcome you um I think you came in at at a really good time we all are working really well together um I saw a lot of positivity in the last few months and then right up to put together the reorg and figuring out different things and um I think that we have a really good group here that the main goal is to do what's best for the burrow of kennworth and that's what it should always be congratulations Joe and Savino and thank you we're really happy to see it to my left so but uh to the residents of kennworth if you ever need us I know all of us are always out there phone phone calls emails uh whatever uh we're here for you so and we all do really big shout out to DPW the police department all the workers here in town mayor councel and everyone that keeps this building afloat um we all do a great job and to you to our attorney and all our legal services and professionals this town is one of the best towns to to live in and I'm looking forward to the next three years great I'd like to say thank you to everybody for their Hospitality tonight I appreciate it and looking forward to working here making our Our Town a better town it's already a beautiful Town pretty much everybody knows me and I looking forward to continuing my relationships
