um had some it had an adjustment period um there's there's pros and cons to everything um you know I I do think it's kind of like a little bit of a graduation you know to eventually go there for your summer um that would be a pro um the other Pro was uh the parking lot at Community was not you know the the line that drop off wasn't back on the malaris which is we had a we had a line of cars really wrapping the corner off you J appear at the Mal partis two summers ago so it removes a lot of that that's another Pro um the con is you know the staff is splitting a little running back and forth but um people and also the the more crossing of the streets with the kids people have expressed concerns with what's on 53 now in the warehousing how is that going to impact it's it's you know um traffic in town is you the pro you know I genuinely explored like what I felt were real common sense um alternative or ways to layer some safety in and um it didn't work out meaning like going through our Police Department getting a certified crossing guard that we would pay for uh at those times and everything and it um the answer is no honestly I don't really I don't know it just seem like a common sense thing to do but um was it the timing like if we start now with the answer like pretty much the answer was if I'm interpreting it right that it's the parents responsibility period so no matter what we came up with and how we were going to fund it and it's a parent responsibility to want their children to get safe and if we're willing to pay more or said person it's going to be a camp expense which the parents PID for right um you don't go ahead isn't our camp I mean it's apparent yes to the camp so we feel responsible that's that's that's our te know at the end of the day God forbid something does happen so we we we sit here in it's the fourth fifth year we talking about that Crossing and we've been lucky and blessed that nothing has happened the end of the day you know we're all part of a political entity and anytime you know my reading between the lines was this said explicitly no but my reading between the lines is that you you don't want to set a precedence so if C does this to safely cross the kids or setting a precedence which then that respons would need to be honored for team Center or then that inity to take care of itself it's really a thought marage really sending a kid I think from the and again was this explicitly said to me no but I think uh when you put the political goggles on that's what the the concern was yeah you know like uh police chief crossby was great to talk to really good to talk to and very open to all conversations but I think that's kind of what he was was handed down to him too we don't want to set a presence was like $5 charge on the camp pay for the they offer the crossing guard was $85 it was expensive too it was it was it was definitely and that person would have worked significantly less time than my adult counselors and would have made a lot more money which is also kind of messed up I had a little problem with that but that's not why we didn't do it it just would have been hard for me to tell Lisa who's been working here for a long time hey this person's going to work two hours L you make more money but would go do that that's what I'm saying switch good the yellow yeah the yellow jock we get know why I want to put on I think I think a lot of parents look at Camp as an extension of school education I know it's not but they look at it like Sting their kids I agree an expectation of my kids get to school safely what the help of the town and the cross I agree with both of those things it's not but they do view it that way yeah I agree expectation yeah it wasn't it would have been pricing but we also were on board that we would have done it just at the just at the 53202 right that one intersection right there just camp Camp not like if you have a kid coming from here to there I'm sorry you have to take care of that you know from theater to Camp to that correct just during regular Camp hours that's one of the issues is then where do you draw the line that's it I'm that parent I'm that parent that has swim and Camp so those two exas are my responsibility right I extra if we wanted to get like parent volunteers they would have to be crossing guard certified and St like you know what I mean like we can't cuz I said let me I'll go out there my my yellow my red shirt but I was like no you can't do that so yeah the big thing i' I've heard coming up is 53 traffic the traffic like I said traffic in town is a hot button and the trucks going up to those warehouses to cut the corner if they come down 202 in the that's the that's what car Point has mean I never realized it like it's it's actually the people coming south on 202 they don't really have to stop and they pag them right on the 50 and a tractor trailer going up to the warehouse yeah is going to be yep just like in town you know when they make a turn on hando ravenue you know they're they're jumping over the curb over there all the time so I don't know this is above my PID rade but like I know when when uh Central Park went in we requested for like Google and Apple Maps to not allow your directions to send you through styles to Central like it made you go up once Chris Christie Boulevard ever went in there like I wonder if we can we'd have to probably work through those companies but if you put that company's destination and it sends you up Route 10 off to 53 you can't come down rout the problem with that is 202 is a US state state route and 53 is a County Route that have right you know 53202 are numbered highways that are DOT compliant with you know semi-tractor trailers and everything smaller and in between unfortunately and as much as you as we've heard at planing board you can try to block people from making certain terms you can't make it illegal even with signs leaving you know you know AC me ac me Warehouse whatever they're calling it The they're going to make less trucks because they can by dot standards Wendy's says that sign you pull out a Wendy's you know oh no left on that's not a legal sign it's a Wendy sign sign because they're not allowed we have one in town also that we put up and it's not a legal sign I right so it's just certain things you do up precautions that people think first right but I think the important thing is right now traffic and especially children's safety getting places is a hot butting topic more than it ever has been it always has been but currently it's in the currently it's in the hopper so I think it's time to Ian again if we can get the council and I don't want to be critical because things happen and you know they're on call because that's what we need from the police department but you know we we were told we would have an officer there the week of camp in the morning a decoy C you made talk about that conversation and you know what never I understand they got lot a lot of other things yeah but well I know the the decoy car they had one of their service Vehicles was in an accident so they had take that car and put it back on the road for a while so that was the issue there um but we'll start with you know the new Lea on and yeah this is like to even go back to's question this is the Avenue right through here through our liazon to the council and then the council goes back out and puts the the message where it needs to go but okay I would imagine setting a setting a precedence for some reason if we do it here then then we have to do it for team Center then we have to do it for you know again it was that was not explicitly said to me but that was the message you know so okay anyway anything else you want to uh no enrollment was good we had we had hired a good amount of people keep the kids in town busy and employed and one of the things we're going to have to really look at when Kevin's here too is um minimum wage bump again which is so I had a chance to see car last week um and we are going to raise the price of K yes we recommended it we recommend it you know again we make recommendations only so if the council wants to say no whatever that's up to all we can do is ask what we need and with the minimum wage going up we need to do it yeah it's it is is a real exp you know one of the things we're going to have to have you get involved with is um that bump consistently up all the way up I know there's been talk about a c a cap at the top we need to look at it's time top that a little bit too yeah I um I told uh ear on last year which they rotate now but um the adult the adult supervisors have been right haven't gotten raised in a couple years which you know which just puts like the high school kid getting getting closer to them you know what I mean right no I agree I don't want to lose the adults because as much as I I love the high school kids and they're they bring a lot of joy and energy to it I we do need some adults we need some qualified adults on on campus so but we're going to have to pick your brain and come up with some things um probably sooner start maybe in February with that Carling I I sent it all to you have all the you want to talk about it now you can Lisa do you have anything before we go into that the only thing I have is just that um three out of the four weeks of concerts are booked two new bands um there could be the fourth one book soon as I listen to the video and stuff or watch the video listen um so that's what Tak care of bingo coming out February 21st um so just being very good very good prizes this year Friday night Friday yes Friday the 21st 7 to 8 um concerts I mean I've lived you could I'll vouch we can all vouch the crowd is amazing it gets bigger and bigger last year was the biggest crowd that I've had they're there for the whole entire time they say after the band leaves it just brings out so many people they get pizza delivered they bring food it's like oh you're talking about the concerts yeah yeah concerts the concert well this year um Steve uh Steve sakis who does the breeze okay he started two new bands and one is called the country breeze so that's going to be pretty awesome because it's all the years I've been doing this I've never had country and country is like an up and cominging thing so I think that's going to be like awesome and then he has um then he has another band with like um trumpet and harmonica and there is singing and everything so like that sounds like a whole new realm of so I'm pretty excited about it yeah and then of course London Calling because like the crowd that Rick brings in is like crazy the be he's really good but he just like but January 4th they started calling me reck called me and I'm like I'm not even in that mode yet I'm still trying to get through Christmas here and then he called he booked his date that he calls me back that afternoon and he says oh I got to change it because the band members were I said well you got the whole month yeah hurry up and then it was like the next week that Steve reached out to me and I'm going like so here was not even the end of January and I so that's pretty cool this all PLS at his best I agree nice it was a great night I um sat in on a meeting last week with the Mars PL celebration of his 100 year and this coming year kick off start big campaign and they asked BR to be heavily involved across the board from Splash parties to bringing back the district challenges you know that we used to do so I know a lot of it will have Chrissy and Joseph involved heavily Family Day family day right and then we're going to break into some other things the actual celebration um they want to tie a lot of things in the school is going to get behind it the run that the school runs they want to do a whole family day in the fall maybe tying the bonfire into it so a lot of things are on the table we're going to be looking for volunteers and I volunteered all you guys so you're good to go you know you're here but no better than wait for me to sign up thank you yeah it's going to be good and there's a lot of energy and and thought going into this so we have to look at what the Giants did there for their 100th anniversary and not do any of that very different so it's exciting behind it um the committee is just really starting to get off the ground there's monthly meetings so I'll keep you in the hoop on all that I know they put out a a petition for Lo logo yeah there's a contest going on at the school um and open to everybody in town for the hundred year anniversary logo and that will be on cups t-shirts you name it um using fundraiser a fundraiser actually at the very end there's going to have a time capsule again possibly renaming a park Centennial Park bringing in you know everything on the table it's all being discussed it's all good positive news for the town's the committee every time I be honest every meeting I've gone to there's more oh good little every age every okay for for sure the museums behind it of course um grown probably get the kids at Camp could pay 100 big 100e banner or something Caren can we raffle the eagle that's a great idea I'm for that so with that carlen I passed your letter around do you want to do the no I want to talk about this heavy heart yes ugly cry just got to wait for Kelly but might as well it's out on the table nail um carlen is leaving us the end of February 2026 one more year we're g to big shoes fil I think all of have been the positive energy that the town needs the breath of fresh air Common Sense the sounding board for parents and you have always worked with people in town you know you're Mrs Mars PLS you needs it right all those all those many things that are that are going to go with her we going to miss besides it's the wonderful person she is thank you you are your genuine person well I you all as envision myself I I I have owned a house at the shore for 15 years and I have never spent a full week in the summer because that's my busiest time so I do envision myself sitting on the beach for a full at least a full week at my shoreh house before we you know end up selling where is the sh house you're all welcome to come any [Music] time plenty of room you deserve it car how many years how many years did I work yet 177 and I I enjoyed every any every minute you'll read all about it in my book which I've been writing since I've started here your names will all be changed but you will better tell me now cuz this is going to go in and I don't want it to pop up he goes all right I was at a frat party and I drank a beer and I wasn't old enough is that it's a good thing you told me beared she told go say three a lot of good times you've had a great imp everybody's going to miss and I know when Jason and S see this they're going to feel the exact same way it's we're going to miss you for sure thank you I the past people that work been up here they think the world would be everyone Jan Janelle as I felt about them as well everybody big shoes to fill and Mission well I've kept we can do salaries if you want just so you can get them into the council early your recommendations I mean we know it's a given that we have to raise first year counselor from 1373 to 1453 that's 80 cent raise so that's what what notes did you have on that that's required I have What notes you mean what the schedule that the state sends me yeah so that's you know that's seasonal and small so we're still you know what's the cap eventually 15 15 is the cap by what year I think it's going to be next year next year I think this is it this this year not for us because we're seasonal okay so oh so the cap is 26 yeah 1549 for most employees right now we fall under seasonal and small employers so it's like a dollar less than put that to you know we all don't have to have discussion on that we have Kevin and finan look at that with Jake and you do a subcommittee that but the sooner the better because it will give you room to negotiate because last year it got in there kind of late and then I know what happened decisions were just made and it was too late to do anything right so like the first week in February like maybe Valentine's Day yeah if we could get this buttoned up and uh reach out to Kevin print out that thing we have a little meeting with J because theer you don't might be too much to get into but base salary right and it has to go from a to be right 1373 to 1453 so if that's a percentage is that the percentage you use to raise the next level and Next Level and Next Level that's what I did last year and then they said oh you could only raise the first year 80 and then everybody else 15 cents well what happened then the third year counselors were making less than the first year counselors right so you can't do that so then when they realize that they let me give them like 10 cents more okay than the bottom level and then they froze the adult salaries this will be the third year it'll be frozen for the adults okay they get they got zero R and that's one of the things we have to get done that's something that you know I wish Kevin was here for this so the the new the minimum wage for seasonal employees will have 80 cents on the hour that 80 cents just from last year to next year would get a first year employee first year counselor getting paid more than a fourthe right now right now that's crazy just because and that's why you have to do it consistently you know and then pretty soon it'll be at the top of the and then you can go back to giving your 15 20 cents for 2% or whatever the town gets you know what I mean I mean it's been do that increase the past couple years but not our fault it's the state of State mandating you know wow so you know that's my recommendation that's what I would recommend um you know we to even think more because you have to be in competition with what other pools are paying definitely for the lifeguards I I am won't have any the other Town insane they're paying some of these LIF cards but Market I know my daughter's LIF guarding at the high school right now after school getting paid 20 an hour she's always lifeguarded for us in the summer but yeah $20 hour $20 hour yeah and that's what will will happen you know know God I wish I was a kid yeah I know right but don't forget what it's causing these kids to put gas in their cars and you know how much Starbucks we got keep up Jay do we still with one em counselor or two so we had two um although my so we had one at um jimer for our K5 okay and then we had one at the team camp but she also d as a as a counselor and it worked out really well they have less of the scps and the falls and the so so that worked out really nice that's a good solution yeah yeah that worked out really nice yeah and ours was busy 247 one the one at the K5 Camp is exhausted always something yeah it is always something yes throw it up whatever2 all right so we'll PL to me get get them into the council so you can get some negotiation okay um one of the other things committees we going go through the sports committees start off the bat basketball I'm on the basketball board hello sir know I know if we anything baseball I'll do baseball okay who's braski last year and she was phenomenal so I'm hoping she'll come back this year and if she doesn't I don't really need AA on because she becomes like Le she interested she doesn't uh in light of tonight's news she we should check on her interest again who my wife tonight's news of carlen that she not you know work with Caren she'll do it she'll do it she was great she I I don't know what I yeah and she really liked working with you like I wanted to hire as my personal assistant she was like you just think it and she's already doing it sewing machine and sewing I would like Rachel to and then don't we need a um will she doesn't need she really does she she's the whole package yeah just with that said the town is in the process of getting another Grant applying for another grant for watn putting a request in for already been approved for playground equipment over there that's going to hopefully be the snow Ms they can start sooner um refurbishing and adding a basketball court there for seniors along with that's you whoa for senior Jake or the men the men oh because the pool one is on right but so we could have a Reserve Court for so they don't have to jump the fence at the pool and go back there's at watan Park if we get it um you mean making a whole new yes well there's one there now the paring lot so we want to move it over to be almost lined up with the pickle ball courts in that field there along with two more pickle ball courts soft lights be going ambient liting exactly we have to keep the happy well you know one of the nice things about those courts there's really no neighbors I know yeah that a great spot you know it's I shouldn't say that we haven't had any complaints over there about no we had complaints but not about you have oh not about they those courts are a lot of fun it's really nice it's just trying to get we take baby steps my only question will there be complaints about taking up that field because so many people use that field it's not Tak up the field it's going be right next to the par field your below no one us that field everyone uses the using Soccer Now up above up above like right in front of pickle ball even the kitty soccer yeah Kitty prek kickers and like no uses it can they move to the I wonder to the back that you're talking about one of the things we we talked about is that back field uh refurbishing and cleaning that up there's soccer goals on there yeah nobody go there never uses it the only reason why is because the kids can play like on the playround on the playground wire on the field so it's like The Best of Both Worlds for a parent and they can ride bikes like depending you see everything you're kind of hid is the land back behind you know behind the water in the house Yoda's house is that flat is that flat enough for wall you you want to put it back there I don't the original plan was to keep it side by side so you utilize def fening across the board still should be enough property you would have I if you put two more courts and even a basketball court you would still have a full saying 50 yard stret to the play area yeah but then you go you stretch closer to the road I mean I've been to so many events and we take up everywhere from the pickle ball court to like the pine trees like we had one kid just had a birthday party there and did a like football I mean it's used more than I think people realize but it's not like town recognized you people just go and pick up and show up it's great but again kids are getting into pickleball times are changing I mean not everybody goes outside anymore so I can just we're gonna put some power in for video games outside but basketball is definitely need it I mean how many times have we ran over kids in that parking lot because there's no parking basketball that needs to be that basketball over there yeah that needs definitely and those rails there rails got to go the park is getting utilized more and more way more than it ever used to yeah it's like a first thought used to be like a last thought you know which is great and trying to keep equipment that we were putting in there for the playground is trying to keep red kids MH so that Park would be more younger parents yes that's what that was always like before kindergarten Park and then after kindergarten it out a little bit graduation big deal everybody have a chance to look at the dates for next this coming year I glanced at I just got a text from s about this we going to hold off until he's here for this what the resolution he wanted to be here tonight he and January 22nd any meeting where the agenda is be used and said agenda will be available at reasonable time and copy the secretary um all persons are invited to the meeting blah blah blah the secretary will post throughout bulleon board Town Hall at 531 speed AV a certified copy of this resolution in addition to the secretary directive worth with certified copy of resolution and published to each of the following the Mars Plains newsby Mars County Daily Record also the secretary will submit to the town clerk a copy of the resolution this resolution adopted in order to comply with po with them if anybody asks you you know what do you need to apply it's all online and I have copies in my office um and they can be scanned and sent to me however the kids want to get into that's not a problem um so there's the application four pages and then I wrote a guideline of how to complete the application in the W4 background check counselor information form and then I also did a um uh um Department of Labor working papers procedure and there's a um process code that's included in that because when you go to sign up for the working papers online which you can only do online now there's a little process code that they have to put in so while that is online or will be Friday and um in in the office because I encourage kids to start early you know then that way they get it out of the way and they know and then Jay can start you know seeing how many kids and if we need more and what level and what have you um so if anybody's interested you're you're able to um Point them in that direction second and third year counsel returning counselor everybody hi returning counselors applications uh is it everything appliation we all get we all get congratulations thank you I have to before Camp starts but if we don't use all probably a full we off between any school year and and then we try not to go into August very kids kids start disappearing on Lisa do you know do we have a certain day is it the Thursday of the last week did you do the senior piic is that right the third Thursday third Thursday of Camp third Thursday camp or July July July third Thursday of July did you decide what you're doing for oh I guess independence day is the 4th on the Friday you're keeping the third correct 23rd it's only when that fourth ended up like in the the middle yeah when like the the parks to have them safe you know check ball materials I just like to go around in parks and check if anything's broken our DPW responds very quickly um we are uh we are TR left and the other thing is now keeping it that way as a job in a half because we really raised the level power level and there's work and there's always something to do so anyway thank you I don't want to make it too long if I talk men Jerry a little crazy on that note of the parks on the DPW I mean last year last couple years have been amazing the wins and springs of getting the you know the new uh snack bar the dugouts everything at the fields and the pool ready are there anything priorities that whether new priorities that we said oh that has to get done in the winter spring that we've noticed or I mean aside from the regular laundry list one of the things you know Jan used to do this in Walk the parks I've done it now taking over the from her because all the new playground equipment we're putting in the hall sounds um the pool is a big ticket that we always we already started on the baby pool fixing some of the the cracks there stripping it down so we can get as soon as it get nice we can start repairing that and then looking at the big pool a finger fingers crossed in a prayer course one of the things that car knows this I complain about it every other day I drive by that sandbox there I would like to have the guys dig that up maybe redo it somehow clean it it's an eyesore the fence is a petn shot away from for somebody it's been there well before I was here I don't think I ever as as that big rock right that I put that plaque in there it's gone no no pla you sure one they took some one plaque they took it down they took the show that one I put that in stone I you know carved it all that they they when they dug up the Time Capsule yes they moved it so that's a DPW to I mean yeah and again I've talked to Johnny about that of course Johnny is somebody hire up has to give the blessing I think the stand Bo is gross I I will I will not be Sor to see I will say it I say that every time F to get removed to but luy people we throw out the trucks we get rid of the toys in there it's like two contractor bags in the dumpster one night after a meeting couple years ago then refill in what do you guys Envision a new Sandbox to be like around for the CLE well there is a fence but the fence is um I think they're saying no sandb oh no sand you guys are the rec let me know if you need me to get some quotes on a new one or something just remove it or just remove it that's easiest will love that I'm not a big fan of sandboxes it's disgusting especially by remember everything we do there's always took the sandbox out it is true huh you take the sand back to out where your complaints what do you do take it out you get complaints if you don't we're good if you do then one we're thinking about replacing it so we to take the old one out happens it's attached for months start is this wish list time yes go ahead go ahead so um one thing that requires no money well a little bit of time labor but um in summer camp there's the two horseshoe pits uh embedded in the trees between the Pavilion and there's typically a lot of broken glass around those every year um just I don't know people drop models while playing I don't know if anybody us I didn't even know they were there I was to say I don't know they just got be cleaned up and yeah a lot of broken glass um so I don't know if we could give that a good break out and and gather I told those people not to throw beard BS just for shoes right is probably 20 years old it probably been it's we'll we'll get it clean up I know the acorns are pain in the neck over there so glass would be the major pirate I mean if they could clean it all out that'd be great but the glass well it should be refurbished every so often J just that broken glass that would be get that out of there um and then U wearing a couple hats here the basketball board donated a new adjustable hoop uh to the teen but also for us to have during summer camp the kids love to play basketball um one of the questions that came up over there that's only a half court there correct yeah could you utilize oh yeah so you're leading me into my next like so the first wish list item is just just a little time clean up second wish list item is also time it's already paid for the the the hoop is in the uh screen in porch at the team Center it just need to be installed by DPW chance uh but then if we could put locktop on our wish list over there at the teing center put the driveway or just just the driveway I don't think needs to be it's fine the kids love the court and we also play pinard on there that but the black top is really starting this this is the team Center this is the team Center I can't reject when a snow goes away if you can mark the area that you think you want the black top there because what happens in the time we have our our the people do all the road projects schools are down so to have someone do the as be very take just pricewise that's a very I just need to know is it 20 by 20 20 you know just give me like roughly we'll make it a half courter I I know what you're saying yeah but but that's something that I we Market we'll meet with the engineer and the councel and it's it's easier to do then and it is just getting a new company to go there and do it probably be two three times the cost okay and as you know did the ones up in uh at the pool area for zero cost wow I re-engineered that myself with the supposed to be a Colac and the same amount of Ash we buil you know a full size CT so just something for the pool in that's um that would be that would be great so you have my number yeah just give me a call when when you go to spray it out and so we need to I need to make sure the DPW so uh there's like a it's not in the ground it's just a portable fastball yes there now but it's like fac in the forest so we'd want to put the installed one on on the different other side so if we were able to repave we might as well go full court and then eventually we get another basket for ask for the world ask for the you got here's one of the things I I would like to do is take that hoop that's the pool man mhm and bring that over there too that be great and then just go back to the the portable ones behind the pool okay it just seems like the ones behind the pool because where it's located with the building blocking and everything else how many backboards have we replaced over there because kids are throwing rocks and everything else you know it's it's it's a shame that the vandalism still goes on over there but do a glass do they not make other options they make plastic for the portable ones oh but not a jake do kids use the the GaGa ball and the when when there is a teen center is do those things get used when you're not hosting the kids use it as a park like can they go and I mean if they did were anybody saying no but I actually seen anybody except it's organiz yeah unless it's organized never seen a kid over there mm- that's a good good point no but no even like after the Memorial Day Parade When people go to the BFW and stuff like that I don't see anybody like I think like off liit I don't think it's ever a thought you know we got a four Court bball Court over there that might actually start to gather some it should yeah okay anything else you got on your list that was it that would be uh you a question sure in the community center um there's green tape on the floor in the main room not anymore it's gone now it's gone oh yeah okay someone asked me we had a girl scout yeah I I I don't know who knows that they think they can come in and put green tape down but sure it was removed and why I S we can we're making a list um we've talked a few times the tables and chairs that are under the stage it is disgusting under there as a volunteer who sets up for Girl Scouts and this and that it's embarrassing like other people are around so like I know to do something get excuse me wait wait wait wait excuse me in charge of the ground wait wait excuse me wait le le that's you we are not no okay we are not going to mention names any nam I want someone to clean stage if we can put it on a list of to-dos that's it got it the community center clean under stage is a a problem for us across the board lately um things been canceled by Rec events basketball for one pickle Ball's been canceled several times for outside town events where no one in town is involved with it's the community center is being used for other organizations and taking away from the town residents across the board we need to pull in some of the guidelines and reinforce them and I I think that building should fall under the person that's going to take car spot overall you got on the back we also have I think booklet that we don't can upgrade that look it over and uh we don't know no we don't have the The Authority because that's building in grounds fine but you have we Recreation but you have to advise building and grounds and I'll bring it to the council okay job come up absolutely adise tell me what bring it up give a for USS of uh just pretty much what I stated there's a lot of events that are being pushed out at the last minute a few were they're not even notified that things have been canell and it happened more than once they had just happened to basketball you know it's happened Jason was involved in one of the events that showed up there and like shocked so need to rain meet with my committe and see what we can do about that rain in big the big thing yeah the scheduling side of things prer that one of one of the big pluses that we have noticed over there the cleaning personnel where you got a new cleaning personel Maria no names just just Maria a lot of Maria oh things are better oh bathroom I didn't notice being dirty but we were there last Sunday for Girl Scouts other yes I've been there L does that cleaning uh agency go to the team Center as well supposed to I think so um one of the things we we want to put on the table now sooner than later is because we have this cleaning person we want to make sure she's compensated for taking care of the snack bar and cleaning that snack bar on a regular basis once we open it up the season those are not included in her hours her scope of work right so we want to make sure that gets on there this year we been down this road and I know Finance always complains about who's responsible for it little league uses it yes tennis courts use it villian uses it people walking use it it's not fair for little league to carry the burden of cleaning that all the time even though I'm not saying they're not 75 majority of it during Little League season but it's it makes the town look bad when that is an ey sore like it is across the board what's that we use the bathrooms for camp and I mean we need to it's got to be clean it's got to be hand through the table the previous person there we extended his hours to cover some C and he didn't do it oh and we we talked about this I think Amy you were charge to the snack bar when we started talking about this that's when we found out the volunteers were cleaning it and then Kelly's been doing it now for the past two years and it's just you open on a Saturday morning and you have a whole slow of games and us as you as a parent you walk into a bomb it's it's embarrassing and we and then you clean it because you don't want people to and actually the keys are in the community center so the community center is not open you can't even change the toilet paper because it's really a wreck for an out little leag I I've I've this bathro for summer camp too not not that I put on my French made outfit but I got at least to the point where you weren't stepping on stuff stuff to get yeah yeah and the new person I think would be great if that goes through and you could just kind of help push that along step that' be great I have a quick question about pick a ball now that I'm on for it um the the indoor one is there any way they can get relined I had the tape did you I ordered enough tape so in case we had to Reign it but I thought they were going to come and do our floors so I was keeping the tape on the side but then we never got our floors done I'm sorry who actually lined it well Bill did it bright did it for me last time so I guess I could do it if I just no if I just follow the tape that's down that's down there now if I just follow that I could probably do it I don't think we're going to have the floors done now until probably August and by floors that you mean just like waxed and cleaned whatever they're going to do to yeah we didn't get them done this year I don't know what happened it kind of fell through the cracks don't they do them on the summer time I'm going to say after camp we would do it after camp at this point I would think so it needs to be done now yeah is there any we could ever get like permanent lines I mean I'm I'm fly with that I guess you'd have to and basketball lines that was a big uh question that we had because the kids a lot of second graders practice in there and then they go third grade to games but they don't have proper like foul shots threo liners so like there's really no way to if we're using it teach them yeah unless we switch it and just put kindergarten in first grade there but they wouldn't I don't think they would like that one of the big things over there for years the community center they didn't want any balls in there whatsoever we Chang that they CH changed thatness baby steps along the roof then maybe Camp would use it if it was lined more I don't know or is that not a thing that's L for basketball is that for B for basketball you mean or for pickle ball no lines on now just pickle ball different color just pickle ball there's no lines for Bas used to be PL old floor floor it's just like whatever not so the lines won't cause sometimes if you have so many sports the kids get confused they you start putting two three lines in oh my God in out if there's no lines on on the that's easy I mean I don't I don't even know if if it's big enough but it's just something that people have mentioned to me and I'm relaying even just from one side you know but it would have to be done after does the standing yeah and and would it be you can line court and then seal it over the line could we tape it for now before yeah okay taping I mean taping not for basketball that's not happen but for a pickle ball a lot of I mean I I think the adults would love the pick you you really need to make that for like a blank slate before you put lines on it because all the it's got like that speckled pattern yeah I mean you could put lines up but it almost feel like you'd have to like m i don't paint it strip it I don't know make it a blank slate and then yeah so that might be too much for after the done the yeah if you want I'll help you re no I can I can do because the blank Sate because then put the tape down it removes the tape for each okay we'll talk about that put that on our wish list along with our sand box we're tear out anything else guys so would you know at the top of your head if their fee schedule was approved by the council not yet not yet do you have any idea what the timeline might be for that I only ask because I'd like to do the pool before I leave and I can't until well the fees kept we did back in October November not mistaken we sent it in but I didn't get approval on it like the new pool I'll double I'll double check with thank you thank you usually we do in October November SCH right we didn't hear back about you guys give us the the report we gave you our number our recommendations but I didn't hear back whether we it approve I'll get back to numb and and the camp number too because that be based on can I ask you sure could you put in my dates in the calendar Poli center from oh sure June y June 16th to July 25th so that no name doesn't schedule all kinds of stuff entire building you have a recommendation Tri orientation oh do you want do uh yeah let's do that um June 3 um hold on l and then I have to get the girl school for the theater for some reason basketball thought they couldn't use burrow tomor because it's half it's too late it's too late for tomorrow but days or the are still there they're there are staff that's why we've been meeting tomorrow night so be there tomorrow night gr school gym yeah I think there's men soccer more :30 and then before that there's there's more usually yeah B they I think they it was assum that they could use it half day oh but that doesn't usually it's usually weather closures and off days that the school Clos that's shut down the gy last was a school anything else T I came for a little bit but I G quite a bit a lot of information M
