meetings act notice of this meeting was included in the annual meeting notice which was filed in the office of the Township Clerk posted on the bullettin boulder in the municipal building publishes a legal notice in the Suburban Trends and Daily Record newspapers and distributed to all persons requesting notice in accordance with Township policy you sound phenomenal thank you all right please join me in the pledge allegiance followed by a prayer and a moment of thanks to individuals serving our nation I alance to the flag to the flag of the United States of americ it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all most gracious Providence we ask that you bless this governing body with an abundance of wisdom and understanding so that every deliberation will result in Russell here they're heard I'm sorry I didn't hear you what I'm here all right there is no presentation scheduled for this evening at this time are there reports or comments from any of the volunteers serving our community take that as an L okay next on the agenda is public comments this comment period will be limited to a total of 30 minutes an additional period for public comment is reserved later in the meeting we welcome comments suggestions and questions during this comment period however the purpose of this is to allow public comment not to engage in dialogue if you have a specific continue with the agenda next on the agenda is manag report Mr Brewer thank you mayor good evening everyone uh one item in my written report pertaining to the ordinance that is scheduled for potential adoption with a carried public hearing from the last council meeting this is the ordinance pertaining to the cottage fuit home occupation it was unable to be acted upon previously because the planning board had not yet heard it to make determination if it was consistent with the master plan included with my memo is a document from the planning board or from uh the planning board secretary yes to miss Marsh noting that the planning board did meet and determine it to be consistent with the master plan so should the council wish to move forward and take action on the ordinance following the continuation of the public hearing you are welcome to do so thank you unless there any questions that concludes byot all right next I agenda is public hearing on ordinance number 20248 Miss Marsh ordinance 20 2418 is an ordinance amending chapter 360 of the code of the township of aquantic and adding Cottage huge food operations as an additional permitted home occupation use cheese yes go ahead we we didn't close this so it was carried oh it was carried so we don't open it procedurally reopen it we we can allow public comment if anyone wishes to yeah it wasn't closed I would I would suggest no I want make a motion to reopen it yeah or can I get a second all in favor excellent uh the public heing ordinance was carried from the last meeting so at this time if anybody in the authorizing the transfer of 2024 current fund budget Appropriations 224 requesting the governor proposed fully restoring $150 million of aid for the mun for the municipal Relief Fund like that one 225 authorizing payment of a special assessment to the middle sex County Municipal joint Insurance Fund 226 authorizing tax office refunds overpayments or cancellations and 227 approving payment of the itemized claims is set forth on the December 6th 2024 Bill list and 2018 F elevation escro list thank you are there any comments for on the resolutions from Council I just want to thank uh Senator buo and Senator o scanland um for bringing this up and and and starting this cuz this is definitely everybody should hop on this he has no right to cut that money 224 is good 225 yeah right mhm any other councilman deri thank you Mr Mayor um I don't have too much I was not able to make the historic um meeting just cuz it's a little difficult for me to get around at the moment um but I did want to congratulate the band um on their Proclamation and on on all their wins this year that was awesome and I think we had a couple firefighters join last meeting too if I'm not I did if I'm not misunderstanding so I did not do that and also um I just want to say we all should be real thankful um I've just been going through some stuff and just very very thankful so we all should be that cuz we live in a great country where we are a lot better off than a lot of people in this world so MH please be thankful that's it thank you sir councilwoman Florence Lynch I'm going to be quick since uh the sound probably is not that great um the senior the senior group uh senior advisory committee they're holding a lunch in next week it is the same day as uh the employee and volunteer party but they are sold out um and um thank you for everyone uh that helped um organize that they put it together quickly uh so that should be a good event if anyone has time feel free to stop by also uh the economic development committee will be holding their next meeting next Wednesday and uh for the record just so the clerk knows that meeting is being moved to one of the uh volunteer houses uh holding it as a Christmas party it'll be at uh uh Tish uh offer's house if anybody wants to stop by feel free um and that'll be at 7:00 next Wednesday and um that's it for my report thank you thank you uh councilman Cole so Melissa the town the the employee Christmas party is this Thursday isn't it yes did you say oh I'm sorry did I did I just get the wrong day I'm sorry she's talking about the rotary I'm sorry I don't have my notes in front of me yes it's this Thursday okay I it is sold out thank you for correcting me I didn't have any notes in front of me because I'm at a convention um so thank you for that correction not a problem I just wanted to make sure I showed up the live and there's going to be somebody there yeah and like I said if anybody has 5 minutes and they want to stop in and say hi uh to the seniors uh that day it does start at 12:00 this Thursday so thank you for the correction okay all right uh sorry I missed the uh pancake breakfast for the first aid Squad this past Saturday the tree lighting the first aid Squad celebration last night I was uh over in Germany and France and uh last night attended the pths cheering at football banquet so congratulations to all the senior cheerleaders and Senior football players and the rest of the cheerleaders and football players it was a great night uh for them so um that's all I have no still no word from the county on parking for we have heard back uh from the executive director of the mar County Park commission and it is their opinion that we may be able to execute the agreement prior to the whole thing being done we're going to be exchanging some documents with the goal of having something before the respective elected officials or appointed officials to approve it in January perfect this way maybe we can get it somewhat done before the swim season starts thank you to Mrs Betty kmid oh she was going to say if you know we're not getting anywhere maybe we can reach out to Betty She has magic get it done y that's all I have thank you mayor thank you councilwoman Russell um my committees haven't met since the last one um the count attended uh a grand opening for a new business in town called The Back Nine um we want to wish the new owner Russell Bowen all the best it's kind of a cool indoor virtual golf place and that was a well attended event um the pancake breakfast uh went very well thank them for having that and congrats again to the band and that's all I have thank you I'll be quick uh it was a great uh pancake breakfast uh Santa was there that was wonderful yay they also had 461 people come through so that was phenomenal yeah it it was really good uh November had uh 91 calls uh 42 to Cedar Crest again so far in 2024 uh as through December 8th there was 337 calls of Cedar Crest out of 1,59 that represents 31% of their calls are going to uh Cedar Crest other than that um I was just over at the high school because sth and Eighth Grade B uh were doing their Christmas concert Once Upon a December I only caught one song but it was phenomenal so uh congratulations to them and that's all I have oh wait one more thing yes I umum I forgot to say I watched you on TV today and you did a great job representing bonic I appreciate that thank you very much and I believe John has something to say do I yeah I never have something to say oh boy H Mr Mayor I think we got a little present for you here um I know it's uh it's bittersweet a little bit because you're not going to be joining us next year yeah you're going to have to come over together we go I can hop which I'm getting pretty good at but um no I just like to say thank you I met you many many many moons ago on EDC I don't remember how long ago that was a long time ago and you really truly always had this town in your heart as we can see just by the events of the lot of the last day right you're going out and you're still worried about this like we're all worried about it so um I appreciate you work on EDC I know you were on a flood committee for a long time you were on this for a long time you've helped me out with with a bunch of stuff so um just I pray for good you know for good good uh good things going going forward um I know you'll be good but thank thank you for what you did I appreciate app thank you Ry I really do I got to say you're always afraid to before you get down thank you again thank you thank you great great fun years Ryan you always foric first always I can't I a lose your voice yeah I I really do appreciate that I have to say it's been an honor to serve this town for the last 8 years and uh you know with this issue of drones that we're having uh I'm not going to stop fighting no I am not going to stop fighting we're going to see what's going on because uh this is something that uh bothers everybody and it's invading our privacy and we have to get to the bottom of this so it's a shame more people aren't speaking up like that I mean every mayor should be out there well we got 21 mayor to add to the list but everyone should be out there you're right somebody knows what's going on when everybody tells me they don't know what's going on yeah somebody knows what's going on exactly so it's if I went out there and flew and flew a drone over 500 ft by my house I'd have cops there within an hour so don't tell me knows what's going on when we wanted to record one of the marching bang competitions over at the high school on the football field we had to jump through hoops just to get that done and that drone was the size of this box it's nothing so I will never stop fighting for panic because Panic is in my heart so I do appreciate it everybody it has been phenomenal with that said next on the agenda is public comment as a reminder we welcome comments suggestions
