Unfortunately that applicant um took another um summer internship um that was not within within Plymouth County. Those notices u were to offer them the property to tell them that we of our intention to lease the property which has been vacant for some time. A portion of it has been vacant for some time. Um on Tuesday, we had photos of the property taken. This morning, the exclusive right to lease was signed by the county administrator. Um but so far we we're um moving forward. Um I had mentioned that I would give a brief update on those communities that have spent the money uh that was sent to them through the ARPA program. So we were very confident when we were sending money to the town it had already been spent. They knew because they had an invoice. It matched and there was no recovery of any monies uh necessary. The won't say scary component but the challenging component of ARPA was that 30 00:08:19.599 --> 00:08:36.800 it offered a uh an advancement of funds and encouraged in some instances particularly for large programs that money be advanced to our subreients so that they could spend it and get their project done. In fact, you'll recall that one of our committees is now situated as for those as a big lump sum 31 00:08:36.800 --> 00:08:53.519 up front and committed to paying pursuant to the terms of the agreement uh and using that money by December 31st of 2026. The challenge is that uh you've given me the directive to not return any money to US treasury. So what we've done is monitor their expenditure. We encourage them to spend this money first. Again, a big project and I'm pleased to report that a number of communities have spent the money they've 33 00:09:09.440 --> 00:09:26.640 received and I'd like to just list them so that you know and we can thank them for their diligence in getting the money out the door. Uh and it obviously helps us in terms of tracking. So to date and that is as of today Abington, Bridgewater, Hanover, Hingham, Marshall, 34 00:09:26.640 --> 00:09:44.160 Metapoet, Norwell, Rochester, Situit, Wearham, and Whitman has spent the money that they received. The others were talked to on a daily basis. We'll be monitoring it. There are some that are telling us that they're going to need until September to spend. Uh, just a little story I thought you might enjoy.
