For June 2026, um we had a very low burden of communicable diseases, which is great news. Um we had four cases of flu, which reflects the fact that we are no longer in flu season, so that's to be expected. Two cases of Lyme disease, that's probably an undercount. From the state and national public health updates, um the FDA has approved a new sunscreen ingredient for the first time in over two decades, uh two decades. The ingredient I'm probably going to pronounce this wrong. Be botriizenol 6 00:03:32.400 --> 00:03:49.200 batrizenol I think um has been used in for years in Europe, Asia, and Australia where it has been prized for strong stable protection against both UVA and UVB rays. You're probably asking why it has taken so long for approval in the US. It's because we regulate sunscreen as a drug and therefore the approval 7 00:03:49.200 --> 00:04:05.599 process takes many years. Um you can expect to see new products with this ingredient on the shelves later this year, though wide availability will will take time. Um, another national update. There's been another infant bachulism outbreak. This time tied to Nara Organics organic baby formula. This is 8 00:04:05.599 --> 00:04:22.000 sold nationwide in Target stores and so far there have been three babies that have become ill in California, Pennsylvania, and Washington. So, make sure you're checking your the um if you use that brand, make sure you check the lot numbers. You can find it on our website. Our third annual community liaison resource day is tomorrow, Friday, June 26 from 12:00 to 2:00. Uh, inspectional services monthly report for June. um on the interior housing division. Um, certificate of fitnesses, 52, certificate of fitness reinspection, 30, 12 00:05:09.600 --> 00:05:26.960 interior complaints in process, 10, interior complaint inspections, four, pool spar inspections, we conducted three, pool spa reinspections, seven. On the food inspection division, uh, number of routine inspections was 28. Number of reinspections was four. Number 13 00:05:26.960 --> 00:05:43.440 of complaint inspections was three. Number of pre-opening inspections was two. And number of uh temporary food inspections was 35. On the exterior sanitation division, um we issued 369 violations uh trash violations. We issued uh 19 violations um for junk heap uh dumps and automobile graveyards and five violations for multiple unregistered vehicles on 15 00:05:58.400 --> 00:06:14.639 property. Also issued 365 violations for unclean unsanitary land which is overgrowth and that conducts the report for June. >> Great. Thank you. So I think each board member has theratom uh the regulations onratom in front of them.
