asking for uh yeah we're asking uh to build a a patio in the backyard uh we had come before the board maybe few years ago uh we're going to do an extension on the forch area that's out there um but um long story short uh we made a change in that and what we want to do is build a patio on out versus extending the building out and um I don't know if you have the I guess the measurements in in front of you or but we're we're asking that um the extension we're asking for it to be extended I guess beyond what it should be I guess so the applicants appeared in 2021 they got a variance for a foundation area uh variance of 30.8% they're not doing that at this time they got a lot of coverage variance at 43.5% in 2021 they're basically building a patio instead of the building and um the building coverage Falls away they do need a lock coverage variants of 45.2% thank you thank you Mike right yes thank you so no building a little bit more patio um is this a concrete patio or a paper patio it's going to be a and it's only counts as 50% am I correct if it's a permeable design it counts as 50% they they have proposed the drywall it's shown on the survey and so they would certainly um either convert to a permeable paper or build the U drywell seat which bit to accommodate that if you're if the board is willing can you do both yeah we the plan was to do a um permeable paper and new the dryw because there's so much over we done the uh do the P patio and you know the dryw at the end of it and the permeable pavers so because that'll be less intensive as far as imper imperviable uh on the since you're so far over what's allowed and if you won't it'll be less chance of you adversely affecting your neighbors care the water outside everybody happy do you see any any uh problem with I do not just want to be sure because the letter of June 6 doesn't uh finish things up but apparently there were discussions that you are part of Mr disco about the location of the storm management set there's no indication in the submission that that was resolved in a for in a format satisfactory to you can I assume that it has been yeah on the uh this is the survey uh dated 61824 uh mine is highlighted I don't know if yours is as well 618 24 oh that isn't attached to the that wasn't attached to my if if you have it it's it's showing a dryw 8 by 8 by 5 1/2 F Fabric and stone with PVC piping coming from the rear of the structure but you were happy with the yes yes the the storm order is is satisfactory for me it it mitigates what the increase is it's up to the board whether the lock coverage number and the visual aspect of it is acceptable as a point of information there's a stor there's a flood retention easement between their property and um the backyard of house is on Siri Lane okay one has nothing to do with the other um I don't see that on the survey if it's there you know it exists okay it it's either a a drainage easement or a sanitary easement I presume or potentially both it's a drainage okay so this would be compatible with that in fact um if there's an available piping or structure adjacent to their property they could tie the Overflow into that if it all possible so if anything it would augment the uh yes problem that was meant to be alleviated by the initial installation of the eement in the underlying piping yes if there is in fact piping yeah than I guess anybody question from um yeah statements okay based on what I'm hearing I am comfortable recommending that we approve it with the with the caveat that they're putting in the papers please John Lane L NE 24 Gregory Road Amy Lane L thank you could you tell us a little bit about what you're trying to do sure so um this began when we looked into getting a whole house generator um and what we learned that day is because we're a corner property there's this two fronts that we didn't know about um and when we had the the electric company there looking at it really the only feasible spot is kind of on that side of the corner but it is behind the fence that is there um so we went through this process to try to get approval for that and what we learned was we bought the house two and a half years ago the shed that is was there when we bought it that's on the survey I guess they hadn't applied for what they needed to for that which is why that's also added onto this application so Mike there was nothing done prior that shed no it uh it's only two foot clear of the property line on one corner 1.6 on the other the weekend warrior homeade questions it's in back of fence on your property shed yes it's fully fenced in it's on the Windfield side of your house right yes yep I just have a question shed you mean the shed yes is is there a survey that's marked of where you want to put the generator because I don't see anything as to yeah there's a x where the concrete pad is but let them did it not copy well I mean oh I see oh that concrete is it on yours yeah but it's very it's very very faint I see where that says concrete pad is where you want to put yes exactly that's next to the AC unit also yes and and you've determined that it's clear and windows and yes the company measured everything out that's exactly where it could go and they go for the build permit it would dictate whether the 18inch offset or the 5 foot offset is it Sor I was just gonna ask is the generator allow at all or is there like a reir I mean I know many of our neighbors have similar generators we had one at our previous home on Janet Lane um I don't think it's any any different than any other Mike do we have hours that that's supposed to run is yeah there's a standard testing in the ordinance I think it's during the day um with midday hours like five minutes or yeah right so they if they again if you're want to have a motion in the affirmative you could have that the testing of it conform with the ordinance I'm looking up if they have anything on the sound okay Mr chairman if I might just to be sure the record's clear in the back corner it has frame shed is that the shed that was there already that yes okay just so the record is clear thank you sure this is behind the fence that you can't see it anyway yes totally F and the fact that it on the corner would have least impact on neighbors because it's that's it's furthest away exactly I don't see a problem doson I don't see uh in the five-page cut sheet um where they talk about the decimal um level typically the um the generators um are not on long term and they and usually when if it's a state of emergency the noise ordinances Fall by the wayside and they not enforced um this is obviously an emergency generator not being used routinely I think it would just be like any other generator it's 20 20 to 24 kilowatt which is fairly standard for running most of these critical things okay thank dayun I think there is an ordinance of when it's allowed to be exercised I I forgot the hours off hand yeah no it's but it's not 3 o' in the morning no no no not at all that was my right the hours are specified it's I'll say midday generically I think at our old house it went off at noon five minutes approve based on my proposal would be that it's included that there has to be tested in the hours within the ordinance sure uh I would be okay with approving the shed also because it was previously
