And I really see this as a great opportunity and a model for not only affordable housing but higher density and more retail and the things create for a productive development. I also want to make mention that there's a lot of

00:07:36.870 --> 00:09:01.351
community engagement and support around this site. I actually just live just a few blocks away. And when I think about, you know, the excitement I have for it really and you know, like to highlight the work of now, they are district councils, but we have some amazing community partners in terms of NBC, right? There's well who are all invested and driving a community-driven process, which is no really essential. So with that, want to say thank you This is just one step with the acquisition and we'll be seeing more actions in the future when it comes to the demolition, we'll make sure to share the timeline and with the public. And how many units there to? to the tune 3. Thank you so much. And I and all the developers here's I just wanted to to first say thank you so much for your interest and commitment and building homes here in Saint Paul. From what I see here, it's definitely very a line. That's what I know. East Siders want. And so this is a very exciting proposal. And so again, thank you for for your here in Saint Paul. Ball. Say that again. Your name welcome. Thank commissioner maker. >> Thanks, Joe Johnson added Yes. I know what the fan. It's hard to hard to hear all of us, but it is an important attribute of our chambers right now. >> I first of all, just thank you all. So I echo the chairs. Thanks. This is really exciting. And as President, thanks, thanks. >> I'm curious, just to connect the dots a little bit. I noticed on the very first slide mentioned that this was a development proposal that we received. other proposal section of the disposition policy, which I think is when

10
00:17:06.127 --> 00:18:13.580
we are not putting a parcel out ourselves asking for proposals, but we receive a request from a developer with interest in a parcel. And I know that one of our priorities in the past couple years has been to try to get more of our atrium land back onto the tax rolls. One of the strategies for that was. Marketing the parcels that we have and making sure they listed online. And director, I know that something that your team worked. So I'm just curious and it's possible that I said all that and that's not how it happened. But is there a connection between as having? Made it more visible that we have these parcels available and the interest that we then received in this parcel Chair let as Petry talk a little more about the specifics for this particular parcel. But yes, that is the process by which it came through in that. We've made it more publicly known and available information about a cherry on parcels and opportunity for developers from urging developers for individuals for people have an interest, retail specifically about a property or even to reach out and say this is the type of thing I'd like to develop what sort of a properties could this be a good fit for and they can work with them on okay here, 2 or 3. That could

11
00:18:14.662 --> 00:19:38.120
be a good fit for this one. And then it goes to 2 point that process for weekend public notice so that the public has noticed that you might be pursuing a development opportunity on the parcel so they want to make a proposal themselves. They can come in public notice and then go through the process here. But Petry anything about this specific parcel, might be good to add. >> If yu're actually for today to raise for that reason, beginning for them correct, it's a I think county, the DEA program, the county the program. You to ask as part of the process that you went through in the program and you know that we had to actually had courses available, that you see tend get to So in this case, it's partnership we have county. We also have got out best and stand recess for. Commercializing these properties getting them out to to the public in the actually don't know what actually working through. And if oppresses ACC for that. Great, that's great to And then just one quick question, the 2, it's it's a duplex >> is the idea because I know it says here for 2 families are both of the duplex is for sale to separate families. Each one and ownership opportunity or is that one together? That they might then

12
00:19:38.815 --> 00:20:54.156
rent out to the other side? >> It would be 2 different It's a You've got sell them separately. Yeah, it would be. So something which is also just another credit to you because we talk often about how it would. It's so important to have ownership opportunities that aren't just single-family homes. this is exactly that knd of housing that we're talking about. so thank you for. Doing this particular model and we really appreciate any time that we have developers actually come to the chain various to talk about the project. And so really just wanted to say thank you for making the time to actually come out and chair and thank you for your interest in specially on developing on the East side. represent 7, which just south this project just south of Minnehaha. But the investment, you know, on the East side, 2 is really important. I'm glad to see that there is an emerging and diverse developer program recipient actually developing in our community to. so that's it's really awesome that we are seeing that as well. Is there anything else that you want to share about the project at all are just a little bit about your interest in the site. Is there anything that you feel like would be better for the greater good since you're here?

13
00:20:54.491 --> 00:22:37.793
We're really Excited about the project. We believe that. On the she spent importance a home on the ship and with this, it is You know, sending to you need to to defend family Ad I of 82 and in 20% for compressed. So. That's why we grateful to be here. And excited about the budget. Thank you so much for us to marry for being here. Quick question for staff. Just so we also know, can you just remind us again of where the $400 comes the budget cycle and then also just like what's left in our inspiring community and small scale development. >> centers and it is essential budget that is left over >> If a recent a 2 or projects that had a ridge. So they had some some funds left over from the projects and even sold for higher than originally anticipated just didn't need all the funds in the project originally. And so they will back in. And that's really what we're standing here for the specifics behind exact lean in. And I refer to either. don't know if otherwise. That's that's kind kick it with you that we're just spending this down, which great events. Yeah, I think one of the reasons and you we can have a stand the balance itself. But I think one of the things that's really important kind of what you touched on is

14
00:22:38.795 --> 00:23:47.328
being able to repurpose dollars that we had designated for these funds and then opportunity that we have to do that, especially when it's parks development gets back on the tax roll is exactly what we should be doing with these funds. So thank you for your work on that. Thank you for being here. We sincerely appreciate it. And this item will be back in front of us in 2 weeks. >> And number 3 for 26 Dash, 1, 8, Emergency rental assistance program. Updates. We're really folks know that we had launched a program for emergency rental assistance and w actually got these dollars starting to get out the door. >> This year, I think it's really important to periodically, especially with programs that are watching with the purpose of really informing the process in which we do something, but also the frequency get back in for the body. And so asked for an emergency rental assistance update here is well planned. really excited to see this come forward. So I headed over recommend been Chair commissioners, thanks so much, Chris Prince. An interview for us to provide additional information, says an update. And as you said, chair and informational item. That's not comforting. >> Action on the emergency

Some demographic information of the verified applications that we received for April and May of this

Choose 2 or more races or ethnicities. All of the other selections were less than 5 0st. So how 2026 is going for April and May. Our current staffing for May was 0.5 P and that is we were open for applications for the first 2 days of April. The first 2 days of May. average processing time per application is about 3 and a half hours. So for those 257 applications, they requested $687,924. We processed 47 applications with the requested amount of 134,652 dollars. They do have a little bit of updated 4. Because May is now done and we did approve and pay. 31 total applications. 4 $87,226. The average amount paid her application was $2,766. The average was crest was $3,033. 16% of households were paid. Exactly. $3500 and 13% requested more than $35. The average request for those who had received the House and courts the $3,547. >> Commissioner maker has questions cars coming up. The previous Thanks to Johnson. just looking at the numbers that sharing so total applications. 257 processed. 47 and I see total in process

17
00:27:47.448 --> 00:29:08.794
5. Where the other applications. >> To Johnson and commissioners, we the ones that we didn't process. Is that the question? Yes, I guess I'm not sure what the other was. The other category out of 2. 57. 47 have been processed. 5 are in process. What's that? >> to Johnson and commissioners. We processed 47 because those were the ones that were selected in the random lottery. All of the other applications that we received were not process. And everyone was notified. Got it. And what has impressed So I did what is in process? Chad? Johnson commissioners in process where the ones that at the time we submitted this, we hadn't made a final decision on. We have since made a final decision on all of those. So the fight in process have been decided >> And then just as a follow-up chair on the previous page, I notice under the race ethnicity, distribution, you had. Breakdown of 2026 non fraudulent applications. If you receive fraudulent applications. >> Chair Jones commissioners. We did have some applications we received that appeared to be AI generated. Those were screened out before even the lottery. >> You know that how many of

18
00:29:11.331 --> 00:30:46.240
those we got was large number just that. >> I do not have the exact number, but I can get it for you like. >> And I guess going forward to also, can you touch base on just current staffing? So we put resources and staffing. Also an edge. addition to that, does differ from the last presentation that we had pay share a little bit about why we're at. >> Pasadena versus having full text. A process. Additional staffing. Chair commissioners are housing directors here as well to prevent additional. will I share with you that I was actually surprised director and time I here wasn't presenting coming up at this time to Noting that. And coming out of the hiring freeze, really been prioritizing the specific positions and they were the first MPD to be post said so that we can move forward as quickly as possible with them. 00:32:28.213 --> 00:34:05.108
Okay. And then just for clarity for the month's end show for the months of June July, the numbers of into subpoenaed by processing. be safe to assume that the numbers will kind of be the same. For total numbers of process applications for June and July. >> commission us. So goal is rule process of the 15 applications and that's the goal because we >> but signs stuffing couldn't stuffing to her 50's program that fast few weeks. >> Stuff that will swell up from the program. And that program is kind winding down for launch again. The opening for people to submit the application. So that stuff's reassigned at 50's program. That's reason all we launched a process, double watch in fantasy for the last couple of months. Live up to 15 occasions. >> We actually have another question from Commissioner Kim. >> Thank you. my question was around. So bsed on this, it looks like we still have to process 176 applications. correct? So total applications. 47 processed and approved and then 5 and process that leaves about 176. But generally correct. >> Changes and commissioners, we are only processing that specific number that we pull each month. The rest of them

21
00:34:06.645 --> 00:35:38.334
are not process. there's actually a >> out is that night. Yeah, I think because that was made. That's super helpful because may mediate sort of was like because families are hoping to receive assistance in stop the eviction proceedings. And so my head, I was like, oh, so there's a lot of families that are out there kind of waiting We didn't get the certification from These the 176. That's not certain listed in the spread. Essentially, our have been denied time different qualifying factors is that? Cracked or based on? Our capacity to process. I'm I know the answer, but I will defer to staff just to get it in the sense of just like my understanding rp back to you. We have a lottery system so that process how make total process category or the amount that's fried is the initial lottery poll. And folks that are not selected in the lottery are and essentially a part of that one. 76 that or not not process that are denied at that time. Those folks are notified that they're not moving forward in the process. So no one be waiting at that time. And then when applicants are process there, either. Approved so been paid are in process as well as being reviewed or essentially also not funded by time for whatever reason. But the current staffing capacity

22
00:35:42.607 --> 00:36:50.672
would be 50 applications monthly starting in June for the amount that you would pull from whatever applicant pool weekend. >> Okay. I really appreciate that. I really appreciate that reminder. And just for what it's worth, might just be and offering to maybe change some of the language you're having a clarifying note on it because I needed a reminder. others left. So thank you. Yeah, no, I think really one of the things on slide was just more so like maybe just capturing those numbers of like what's not there? Every month will be helpful for future updates, especially. When it just comes to wrapping your head around the lottery system. With the law, but the kind of plan to do with the applications monthly starting this month. I think just one of the things that would be also helpful is like when we're getting the numbers back. Is that kind of Numbers of those that were not part of a water system numbers that because I think one of the things we're also looking at the futures of 2 days is enough. And so if where, you know, seen an influx of numbers, right? We have an opening for the first and the second. But Mike, there were conversations about what that could look like. You know, if that's the right

23
00:36:51.876 --> 00:38:16.847
amount of time that since we were the pilot question is that that's the recommendation for them. And for tracking how much were seen if we ever get to place where we below the 50%, the applications, I would really want to then. Think about expanding the time. So not to say that we would. But if we ever had a situation where we processing their full a plea that he would be where so should be open application for a longer period. Commissioner Kemp up >> 2 agents and commissioners. So we did pull 50 applications for this month and we try to stick to at least that number moving forward. We did have the applications open the first 2 days of the month. All the applications were put into a random lottery. All of the applications that were valid were put into a rental lottery and everyone was notified whether they were selected for processing the lottery or whether they were not. In all of the applications that we receive have their final decisions by the end of that calendar month. So no one is left wondering if they're going to get Staff. The question. Was we've already chance. Wonderful. Thank Commissioner. Thanks, chair. And I know we're getting a little bit into the weeds, but that's a program health care about just want to make I

24
00:38:18.500 --> 00:39:38.929
understand. So what what are the criteria that make an application eligible to be in the lottery and then what? Would make it not approved after it comes out of Chad Jones and commissioner. So for someone to be entered into the lottery, the pre screening at the beginning of the month. We're just looking to is the application AI generated. And if it is not that it goes into the lottery. We are also speaking out people who do not live in the city of Saint Paul. Those are the only 2 things were looking for in the priest screening of all of the applications that come i every application that is not that is in the city of Saint Paul is entered into the lottery. >> And after the latter, your them looking at. Then they have to be or below 80% of area median income. They have to have active eviction action. They cannot have already passed their court date for housing for it. And the landlord has to agree to the terms of the program meetings. Once pay them, they will pursue eviction. And is there reason why don't do? I guess I'm wondering. >> Why wouldn't do that screening prior to the lottery or maybe put another way if you do the lottery and then you find number applications

25
00:39:40.999 --> 00:40:57.407
weren't eligible based on your second screening. Do we then? Include other applications that might have ineligible that were left out. >> To Jean's commissions, we didn't a second lottery in both April and May after the first one, a smaller one because did have some people that were not eligible. But you can see from the numbers. We are finding a good number of people are eligible. So we do end up approving more than be denied of the ones that we process >> and it's all commissioner moment. And then commissioner, you. Thanks. And thank you so much for the presentation of the work that's going into getting this program back up and a question about the AI generation because could imagine that that important way to weed out some potentially fraudulent applications. Thank you all so much in that. We have residents who are well hang some AI tools to help complete the process, especially they're not native English other reasons. and this is question, but it cannot find understand. But I'm just curious how we're gauging the differences between those 2 uses of AI. And if we're just screaming out any signs of AI and Hailey, if there's some sort of notifications that people know like don't use chatgpt to help you fill this

26
00:40:58.276 --> 00:42:16.286
to. Well say that chair commissioners. >> That is happy to talk more and follow up on that because that really does get into a lot of like the detail, the weeds away, looking cetera. It's it is not looking for people who might abuse chatgpt to help, you know, some answers or that sort of thing. I mean, it really is sort of a late clear. use an example >> 100 and applications for a duplex and trying to get the money. I mean, something that sort a blatant clear, these are valid applications and the reason for not doing the other more extensive and mindset are screening is amount of time that that would take wanting to ensure that we sort of take the day. Do they get checked? Look at any sort of like. Clearly. Not ballot applications. Take them out of the pool so that we can really focus on those that are simple residence and work on applications. And if we were to work through them so quickly or there was such a large amount that maybe was not with him and my son with that, we can go back and do a second drop out of those ballot applications to make sure that we're not falling below that threshold of what we're able to process to make sure we're getting to as many as possible every single month and making sure that that residents of Saint Paul really

27
00:42:19.158 --> 00:43:28.164
have sort of a fair shot rather than if you're just a lottery out of the entire, you would spend that extra time doing so happy to fllow up about more of like some of the very sort of in the weeds, specifics and like in this form, i is this and that sort of thing. I find that hopefully that's a good general. I think what some of things that are helpful to just. >> Whenever there's a fraudulent application, it's actually a crime to do so. It's on the severity level from someone using chatgpt on application level to someone actually going as far as line are creating another identity for themselves to create a fraudulent application to sign an affidavit to do all of the steps that it is included in actually like something that my understanding is that the staff are actually working with the city attorney's office, et cetera, on us, because actually very serious to be. And s just I also appreciate diligence of that to you, especially around making sure that the folks that we are hoping this program reaches actually are the ones that are being reached. Commissioner. Yeah. And then I saw commissioner who is hand. We May wrap after regarding this topic. But he or what's left. So before go to the questions, too, I just

00:43:29.501 --> 00:44:52.649
go to the last 2 slides for us. >> So this is the heat. Actually all of the verified applications that we received in April and May of 2026. The pink and blue are the highest number of applications in the yellow and red and gray would be this. And this heat map shows all of the approved applications for April and May of 2026. in the same election. >> All right. So going to commissioner game and then going to commissioner. Thank you, Chair Johnson. I appreciate the presentation. So I want to say thanks really going to the details and even showing as the demographics here. wondering why have 2 questions. wondering how often you all are seen. renter households to reapply. I E from those who have received payment for us before or maybe were denied. And then also I'm glad to see that the money is going in terms of late the dollars paid out. It is going to areas where we tend to see economic disparities. And so one thing that really stuck out to me is that one of the things checked on Sunday have been talking about based on information we receive from home line. Is that and the 5, 5, 1, 0, 6, zip code. It is where we see the highest rates of eviction. And so I know it is it's on the heat map, but then it's also not like a concert area to wondering what

29
00:44:54.453 --> 00:46:19.202
sort of engagement we have to especially to landlords since there. We have that sort data on hand already in the city and then also overall, think age might look like I'm and I would think that maybe there's some sort of partnership that we have with groups like home line. But if there are ways for us to strengthen that we can definitely make sure that more renters know about the system somewhat actually take advantage of it. So that's my hope. To Johnson commissioners. Yes, we do have some partnerships and we can certainly work strengthening some of the areas where we don't see as high but application rate as we do in And we do have specific data that we can gather for all of the applications if you would like it. I just don't have Commissioner >> It rejects a shape. Having is it's still the heat map is really looks like there's a high need, especially one, particularly in fact, town and around neighborhood, even a north in us as well. And similar to like to have get more data, particularly to understand. know wheres and the even say Kobe on that terms of if there is public housing, I would love to see a map. Where's the overlay of like the public housing this? See if there's some correlation between the

00:46:21.473 --> 00:47:48.424
request for emergency assistance and our residents who live in public housing as well as and low housing providers. I know. know there's like coming ppl. There's so many different housing providers, affordable housing providers in Ward one and it will want to see the correlation between at a private. And property rate versus a large management. You thank you again for this hard work in. I'm happy to see that the monies go out door. The question I get have earlier, I was not rlated to that. I want to highlight real quickly descends on the lines up. Commissioner, a home in around security clearance screening for, you I use I'm just curious with the software, at least like the designing of application. I going in future, we see that there's a lot of saturation of this now AI tools being user automatic generated. You know, was being used for applications if there could be some type Alexa cares. T clear screening or clearance west fast by a strong word. But like a security screening where no you click on something you have to identify like. Are you a robot And you know, I think those are corky. But you know, for point is, seems like there might be some robotic systems you know, trying get emergency rental I will be happy.

00:47:55.366 --> 00:49:03.433
follow-up to I don't know that in house or that's what their software developers are. However. >> No application is designed, but I think that will be something that be helpful in the future. >> It's to Johnson Commissioners. Absolutely. We can look at doing not only application just that little bit of security and get back to winning. >> I think he's operating from some solutions as well. I think folks really want to make sure that they continue to have this program, be able access families. And so some of the solutions recommendations driven from the staff are welcome obviously when it comes to ways that you kind of see in strengthening the security of the application process and the integrity of the program itself. We look forward to just kind of recommendations that staff will bring to us and discussions. I don't see any more hands. I know that couple follow-up items will make sure you know, we chat with just what we heard today, Apple. We do appreciate the work that you are doing. Especially just when it comes to a new ring. Both the high need for this program, but also. Wonderful. Welcome change at transitions as well when it comes capacity and staffing. We know that it's a

32
00:49:04.970 --> 00:50:21.258
lot of work and a lot of process right now of the applications being processed our hand hours from staff that are literally going to it's a manual hours. We just want to acknowledge that and say thank you. >> Item number 4 staff for 26 dash, 1, 1, 9, introduction to preservation of funds for certain same full projects applying for funding from the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. seems soaring. Coming up. >> Well, we the next few for the presentation just because of the interest of time where? >> Yeah, at about 2.45. So I'll get to the presentation police Porter questions. If you have additional ones that we can do it once we get through the presentation itself. Director Rick Man. >> commissioners just make this is an instruction, informational presentation. The action before you will be on the 24th. We have Sarah Zorn here to provide information she's been in contact with each of your offices and again, if there's any follow-up questions, happy to have follow up as well between now and the 24th. >> Into afternoon. So I'm here to introduce the reservations of funds for projects applying to Minnesota housing finance agencies consolidated are The consolidated RFP is an annual funding. Solicitation made to

33
00:50:26.331 --> 00:51:44.542
pay awards tax credits, loans and deferred funding. And these awards are often the deciding factor as to whether or not a project move forward. Developers of projects in this presentation have reviewed the MH if a t the scoring criteria and determined that they need points in either the financial readiness for seed leveraged funds category or the other contributions category in the financial readiness to proceed. Slash leveraged funds, category projects can receive points based on the percentage of funding sports sources secured relative to the total development costs. And then in the other contributions category, but covers non capital contribution such as land writedowns and developers can score points in that category and that's based the value of the 9 capital contribution relative to the total development costs. So the action that will come before you in 2 weeks on the 24th will allow the reservations and land writedowns contained in this presentation to count toward points in those 2 categories. Know that not all projects that find me to say we'll need fund reservation. To maximize points in these categories so they might be other funding or other commitments that have been made to the project that can earn these places. so ways to

34
00:51:47.880 --> 00:53:08.492
do it other than the funding reservation. This is not a final approval funding. If a project is selected through a major process, housing staff will still go through the underwriting process to determine the needed gap amount and then bring the project to be a jury and our city council for approval such as entrance into a development or loan agreement, issuance of funds, approval of land sales and approval of the final subsidy amounts. For those projects that are not selected. The reservation will be released ad then to say starts with an evaluation of responses and we usually issue some projects and early know around September and the remaining projects are subject to further analysis. results presented to it to say Ford in December. There are 6 projects that we're recommending move forward with a reservation. The hams Western Department's project on a jury own-brand with a reservation to 4 million and a purchase price of one dollar. The Florida project on a jury land with the reservation of 2.5 million and a purchase price of 57,008, 20. Face to face on a jury land with the preservation of about 5.7 million and a purchase price of one dollar. The Westminster Vista Project. But the reservation of 1 million, the arrogant. But the reservation

35
00:53:10.496 --> 00:54:27.370
of 1.0, 3, 5 million and Ramsey Hill with a reservation of 1.4 million. Its reservations are intended to leverage funding me say and don't mean that each project has been assigned a specific source. We've reviewed the projects and determine what sources could be used on each project that matching the project and source will have to come later once and to say makes their decisions and they determine what source they're going to use, for example, last year. And the had a lot of federal dollars. And if they assign different funding to a project in the amount of say 10 million dollars in home dollars, we're going to want to layer are home dollars on top of it because then the project will be complying with federal home regulations for both sources, purple funders. Rather than using some more flexible dollars. In addition, there's a bill moving through the House and Senate that may expand the way we're able to use G dollars in the future. And since we don't know what damage to decisions will be until December, not assigning a specific source allows us to adapt possible changes. And these are renderings and images of the projects that I just listing. And the map where the projects are located. If that Lori Vallow and face-to-face in Ward 6 AMS and the arrogant and Ward 7

36
00:54:31.376 --> 00:55:55.214
Fancy Hill and or one and the Westminster this to project is actually 2 different sites, one site in Ward 2, one in 45. Get that brief overview of each project that will over everything since you've got the slide. I'm starting with the hymns weston's apartments for the developer. Teething currently has tentative developer status. This will be an adaptive reuse of 3 buildings to create 70 units of affordable housing between 30% and 60% of am I in one to 4 veteran units with about half the units at the 3 or four-bedroom science. And this project will complement the East End Apartments building that was selected for funding by and that to say last year. The project has already secured about 2.9 million from other funders and will be continuing to secure additional funding and work toward remaining approvals. The Florida project is located on a jury on land at 15, 70 White Bear Avenue. The developer, Gloria, One currently has tentative developer status and plans to construct 69 units of housing affordable between 30% and 60% of am I and one to 4 bedrooms with about 40% of the units being 3, 4, that are at once. In addition, the developer plans to construct an approximately 20,000 square-foot grocery immediately adjacent to the hosting building. Laurie Bill has already secured almost 4 million dollars in funding

37
00:56:01.754 --> 00:57:20.565
and will continue to finalize their design and pursue remaining approvals. Face to face is also on a jury on planned at 11, 70 arcade and will be developed by the face-to-face organization. >> The plan is for 24 units permanent supportive housing, focusing on youth. And that project will consist of efficiencies to 2 bedroom units. Face to face is already secured over 5 million in funding and will continue to focus on a capital campaign and completing some redevelopment activities. The Westminster place in Vista Village projects or an apartment and townhome community. If they were combined in one tax credit deals some time ago with Tory this and Macau. And together, they represented almost 300 units, a very low income housing. Due to the number of The cost to rehabilitate and re syndicate. That project Common Bond communities has decided to pull the deal. Parts separating out the Westminster and Vista projects from the Tory to San Miguel Project, which was funded by and they just say last year and we're expecting that want to close this fall. So Westminster invest a combined, have 147 one into better units between the 2 projects and all the units are supported by project. A section 8 vouchers from the PHA or housing

38
00:57:22.769 --> 00:58:47.518
supports from the county. Te project is 4.6 million dollars in state housing tax credits to pay off some eisting debt. And Vista was awarded 3.8 million from screen and resilient retrofit program and the developer will continue to work to secure funding and through their approval process. Ease. The Air Gun Project Beacon Interfaith that's located at 4.70 White Bear Avenue and will be a new building consisting of 53 units serving households between 30% and 50% of am I and approximately 25% of those units will 3, 4, better of us. Beacon has secured. 21 project a section 8 vouchers and they were awarded the city's 9% tax credits and 2025. But because the amount of credits we have to allocate is not sufficient to fully fund project. They'll continue to pursue additional credits and sources as well as work on the property purchase and their approvals. The last project is Ramsey Hill and this consists of 6 different buildings. A total of 58 skewed. A 54 units ranging from efficiencies to 3 bedrooms and serving households between 30% and 50% of am I. The project was awarded 600,000 from the county and will continue to seek additional funding and finalize their. We have plans the coming months. And I mentioned these 2 earlier, but the rehabilitation of Tory to

39
00:58:53.993 --> 01:00:20.211
San Miguel and the new construction of the hams Easton departments with the 2 projects that MH if they funded last year this year's funding round closes on July 9 all these projects will be submitting applications. So the on the TWENTY-FOURTH will be just approving reservations. And I'm happy to answer questions at And you don't see any question based his own. just means you knocked out of the park. So thank you for being here sort. I think it's also because of the for activists that you've taken just ensure that all of us know about the project. Several of these are repeats as well fom a previous cycles. And so just it's it's really important that we continue to see our projects funded at the state level as well. And so I just I've played he staff as well to know to let us know if there's any way that we can be supportive to Whether that be but and letters or whatever is needed. But overall, just really excited to see some of the projects continuing to these things, funding options. And I don't think there's any questions because of the work and because of operation and the conversations that happen and taking Thank you. >> Rate. So tree board will recess after the last up to this last effort now that's completed and we're going to

40
01:00:21.948 --> 01:00:30.154
convene during the city Council meeting that will be held today, June 10th, think 30 right here in the council chambers. So with that, we are recessed.
