##VIDEO ID:KSMStg81hJ4## e e e e e e e e e e all right we're going to open the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all welcome to the city of St Paul Park regular council meeting postpone council meeting for January 21st 2025 on the agenda this evening we have approval of the minutes from the January 6 2025 regular council meeting and wave the reading of the same I'll make a motion to wave second I have a motion in a second any further discussion all in favor say I I I motion Carri is 4 Z Item number two items from the public all right seeing nobody we will move on to item number three the consent agenda this evening on the consent agenda we will be acknowledging the receipt of the commission minutes from the public works meeting December 3rd 2024 um approving an agreement to uh recruit and search for a new Public Works supervisor with David drown Associates um approving a grant agreement with the Met Council for a new Lions lovey Park pedestrian Bridge uh we would like to take a minute and thank representative Rick Hansen for working with us on getting that money um otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get that project going um approve a lawful gambling permit for St Thomas on March 29th 2025 temporary liquor license for St Thomas April 27th 2025 we pay in some bills and approving a liquor or a tobacco license for Duffy and that's it for the consent agenda this evening I'll move to accept the consent agenda I second I have a motion in a second to approve the consent agenda any further discussion all in favor say I I I motion carries 4 Z all right item number four a new business we are going to going to adopt resolution number 1735 accepting donations to the city for the fourth quarter um we would like to thank uh the Parkinson Rec Commission for their donations and Duffy for their donations to bow with the badge I'm totaling all said and done between all total of $430 and that's it for the donations to the city for the fourth quarter I'll make a motion to accept resolution number 1735 accepting donations second motion a second to adopt resolution 1735 all those in favor I I I motion carries 4 Z all right item number five reports uh council member Swenson is excuse this evening I'm sure he has a good excuse I'm not sure what it is I'm just kidding um council members onenter Public Safety we meet on March 6 we need uh three members um this committee only meets three four times a year so if you're want to get involved but not too much there you go sign up thank you council members zener up Public Safety commission could use some members so if you want to get involved and um help out and have your voice heard about what our police and fire departments are doing um and safety of our community come to City Hall and find out or Reach Out Cil member Conrad planning uh the planning meeting for this month was cancelled our next planning meeting is Monday February 10th at 7 p.m. thank you council member Conrad council member whiped hammock and parks and rack I'm our next meeting is February 13th um we could use some members um always uh we just talked about trying to get a Winterfest sliding event ice skating event but now it's too cold so we're still getting a date just please if you want to check the our the Facebook page Park and W fa Facebook page that' be great thanks thank you council member withred hemingson um I don't have too much to report right now we'll make this short and sweet item number six Council comments and requests anybody have anything else this evening I'll just raise one thing there is kind of a a kind of Winter Fest by the Lions they're having uh boot hockey and ice skating and a bags yes cornhole yeah cornhole um so that's coming up um February 8th yeah to weeks I think February Saturday check the Lions Club Facebook I believe Frankie has shared it and others have shared it um sign up and two different tournaments and that should be a good time nice Community event held by the Lions once again all right anything else all right nothing further before this Council this meeting is adjourned for
