importantly our students Welcome to our fourth grade sendoff 2024 we are here to celebrate the time that you fourth graders have spent at East Hunton Elementary School throughout your time here you have grown not only academically but socially and emotionally and let's start our ceremony if it is your practice and you are able to do so please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and the star spangle banner I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liy and justice for all please remain [Music] standing so [Music] at the [Music] Twilight the [Music] was still there all sful [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] thank you and great job our school opened its doors in 1997 since then approximately 3,500 to 4,000 fourth graders have moved on to Middle School through East Taunton Elementary School now that's a lot of students and I did do an estimate even though there are so many what we want you to know is that there is really only one of you each of you brings bring something special and something unique to our school Community you may be thinking how can I make an impact on others well it's quite simple remember you're a bulldog you have a positive attitude you're an active learner you make wise choices and as always safety first so whether you might become a falcon a woodchuck a panther or some other animal you will always be a bulldog thank you and let's have some recognitions I would like to call up Mr Darren Morano to come on up to the leg turn where's Mr Morano he's not here today at all sorry would have thought he would come down pardon us for a moment while we go get Mr Morano by the way we just had Mrs imard say tell him to run C [Applause] well all right turn switch hi everybody sorry about that a little Mis communication how's everybody doing good all right I'm doing pretty well all right so what am I here for safety patrol safety patrol I tell you what a great uh what a what a great group of kids um I know a lot of a lot of kids um applied for it there's only so many positions there are many kids though I want to mention this that didn't have the opportunity because you ran out of spots but well welld deserved um safety patrol doesn't make someone who they are you know you're it's just it's just a job it's just a position but a very important one in our school and um you know we've been doing this for a long long time I'm very proud of them it's a great leadership program and I'm assuming that I'm going to have them all stand right everybody stand these are our safety patrol they try to keep got lot a 100 safety patrol no no that's all good no really their job was just to remind kids to be safe they did a nice job uh it was good experience but again those kids there are many kids I'm looking here that are great kids um not just the safety patrol but uh we we are recognizing them and why don't we give them a round of applause for all their hard work all right thank you very much safe to patrol you can you can have a seat thank you very much um everyone I hope you enjoy your summer with your kids time goes by fast and it was my honor to either teach your kids this uh last year or to be part of the safety patrol um I do care about them very much thank you [Applause] everybody thank you Mr Morano got at this
