And this year the citizen of here is Stacy Suinski. have there are a number of of things 12 00:07:21.919 --> 00:07:36.319 that I need to tell you about Stacy, which I know many of you know, uh, but I need to make sure everyone knows. Um, some people serve their community through a single project or a moment in 13 00:07:36.319 --> 00:07:52.880 time. Others dedicate a lifetime to making their town stronger, richer in spirit, and more connected to its history and traditions. Stacy Sloinsky is one of those people. 14 00:07:52.880 --> 00:08:08.720 For more than three decades, which is a lot longer than a lot of people in this room have been alive. I'm sorry, Stacy. I'm facing my own existential crisis right now. Since 1990, she has served as the chairwoman of the historic preservation committ commission helping protect historic 16 00:08:25.120 --> 00:08:40.320 sites and guiding efforts to preserve the unique identity of our burrow. As burrow historian since 1999, she has ensured that the stories of Tin Pauls and the people who built this 17 00:08:40.320 --> 00:08:55.680 community are remembered and shared with future generations. One of Stacy's most lasting contributions has been her leadership at the Crawford House. In 2009, she 18 00:08:55.680 --> 00:09:12.320 established the Friends of the Crawford House and helped lead restoration and renovation that transform the property into a vibrant center for education, for history, and community programming. Because of her vision and her 19 00:09:12.320 --> 00:09:28.800 experience, um, sorry, I just lost my place. The Crawford House is not simply preserved. It's alive with activity and learning and connection. Her service to our community reaches far beyond historic 20 00:09:28.800 --> 00:09:43.760 preservation. She has given her time and energy to the library, our schools, our scouting organizations, the PTA, music programs, community gardens, and countless other initiatives. And then the Burrows road program has been ongoing with our contractor PNA Construction and their subcontractor Gemma. So, congratulations to her and it's fantastic to see the uh the girls softball team up here again. Second year in a row. Uh I wish all of them well, especially the ones that are graduating. Um, regarding events, uh, wanted to thank the Tint Falls Recreation. We had our final T-ball game on on June 6th. Uh, it was a phenomenal Saturday morning, uh, of a 94 00:38:33.920 --> 00:38:48.560 couple hundred, you know, four, five, and six year olds playing and and really, uh, loving the spirit of of T-ball baseball. Uh, I think a lot of them will will move up to, uh, go play for Tintfall softball and baseball. I know my my daughter will be. Uh she is a historian as well as a teacher in Trenton. She portrayed Hannah Hannah Till who was a cook and a servant for George Washington during the Revolutionary War war. And then final event that I want to mention and thank the police department for hosting this past Sunday on June 14th. They hosted a free class for children that were five, six, and seven year olds to teach them safe bike skills.
