in the packet that I was able to download the PDF scans I guess it's after page five so it begins on page one and it's a dispersement from the current fund on the administrative and the executive line for advertising for ganette and it's for the amount of $78.30 so my comment is I took a look at the um the Burlington County Times uh website their legal section and I did that's a very clunky website by the way and I'll raise that in regular comment but I ran a search and the near as I can tell for the entire month of December and I don't know what this bill list covers the near as I can tell it looks like the paid advertising from the township should only be around $ 122 or $13 so I'm just making sure that we're being built legitimately for that or I'm just you know someone who doesn't understand how to use that website to properly filter and sort so if someone could take a look at that just to double check that that's legit and then um on number 12 on the agenda the um the topic about uh appointing some of the members to assist the administrator with leaon I'm hoping there going to be some additional context around that during the meeting tonight my only my only concern is as odd as this is going to sound the word liaison is actually not defined at all in the entire code in fact I did searches from all over the United States actually trying to Define legally get a legal definition of the term liaison and it's never been judicially defined which I think is kind of strange but in any event um I just want to make sure we're all sort of pulling on the same rope when we understand what the word liaison means I have a different understanding of the word probably 10 other people have a different understanding I'd like us to come up with a common definition of what liaison means and some functionality for how you want the citizen read to engage with liaison for this particular role thank you nor thank you as 46 over Road my comment is on number nine the ordinance for creating chap 19 for the Township Clerk um I understand that he works full-time for eum and he going to work part-time here so I'm wondering how he's going to have time to make sure that we're covered when he's already working a full-time for another Township and at $75 an hour how we know what exactly his responsibilities are and that he's being held to that standard for that amount of money we need to have some kind of accountability that he's doing exactly what he needs to do who's he whoever you're hiring for the township cler that he is also fulltime for you oh okay sorry that's my bad my bad it works so sure yeah yeah sorry that was the wrong one okay then that would be for a public comment thank you sure excuse me sorry publication off fair enough I had a question Nancy Berkeley all in cus I also had a question about the bill list um public uh the financial Professional Services for one month is $117,000 is that per month what we're paying the CFO now I know you can't answer my questions but oh I should have did sure I mean it seems like that is $200,000 a year so I was concerned about that unless there's more to this than I don't know my other concern is the public information officer for $74 a a hour and I believe I emailed some people about my concerns um what are the goals what are the goals uh usually public information officer is to help build the reputation of the organization and get information out and I think we don't need to have someone to do that we just need to do the right things for instance you always say mayor this is for comment only not questions well people want to come to these meetings to get answers so they you don't have a bunch of people coming because they never get any answers for things and when you had the consent agenda one time it went from A to Z and everything was passed with one motion there was no discussion uh I usually brought up a discussion but there's no discussion and and the you know that kind of A to Z is for things that are not really that important not hiring ambulances not hiring administrations and in the in the uh the meeting in the 1st of June the reorganization you hired an administrator and never gave the public the name of the person you're hiring so I think that if you start doing more of your job of informing the people in the meetings things will help you have to explain resolutions when Donna Ryan was here if there was a new resolution that was a completely new thing she would stop and she'd tell the public what it's about so they had an idea and people were happy about that um the other thing is we used to have uh the ordinances on first meting supplied to the people it's up to the township whether you want to do it or not but we all know why it stopped it stopped because we had a an ordinance and people didn't like the changes that were in the ordinance that were not told to them and they came out and filled this room and after that all of a sudden we never had the first reading of the ordinance until it was a second reading the same night that you were going to go there was no really public help so I think that really we need to get to share people with people what's going on we need to be more honest with people people know when they're in handed a bunch of balloony and they we need to be honest and respect them and we need to be able to if we don't like what they're telling us not get back at them and be mad at them but s consider and say well they might have a point let's talk about that okay um excuse me I'm almost done the other way that people um are not having a good idea of us is we spend so much money every year we have more than a million dollars in Mone issues and it's just giving ideas of what they're buying and yet we don't pay that back we spend a lot of money on things I don't think we need we have 19 regular trucks for public works and we only have eight 12 employees why do we need 12 trucks for 12 18 trucks for 12 employees that's ridiculous and every year we buy more trucks we buy more ambulances we buy more this you know people need to be able to know that their money is well spent and you need to expect it and when we have a budget meeting we're supposed to have a budget meeting with a budget presentation and we never have a budget presentation except for the fire and the police who do a good job but there's no other budget presentation it's just oh here's a presentation we're presenting it and we're voting on it you guys need to be the people to tell people what's going on and explain it to them you don't need to pay somebody $74 an hour from Ean who lives in Salem County is certainly not hooking or charging us for their transportation to do the job that you guys need to do we had three administrators we used to have two we have um we have three uh customer service ladies we used to have one and one half we have increased the number of people that we have hired over the last four years years and we can't do the same thing that we should be able to do that's ridiculous you need to read the agenda you need to make comments and you need to tell people what's going on so thank you there can't be a question and answer period and answer period for when we're discussing things just I mean really what you just said it's it's so one-sided it's like you guys and then us but there's next meeting here was in the township official website has it says no meeting scheduled on it it's the Township calendar and it there's nothing on it about a meeting here tonight um and lastly just tagging off from discussion from a month or so ago about the County shelter I'm just wondering if there's any plans about asking the county for money to help support some extra security maybe you've already discussed that and I missed it but I just I'd like some more information on that when you can certainly thank you work uh motion to Clos so moved second ordinance first reading 1- 2025 an you don't have an opportunity to have a comment or have a conversation with anybody on the committee it's not because the committee is not making themselves accessible like we that's literally why we do that when we try to keep it consistent like even if we have people we have room full of people and if we don't limit the time then it rolls on and on and on or we go back and forth I've been critical of that of going back and forth and talking to people so that's the reason why we do that there's nothing against it's not there's nothing against having a conversation with the residents and as I continue to say you have to remember the people that are up here are residents just like everyone else in here with that being said does anyone have a comment hi my name is Audrey K of 36 Road somebody brought to my attention and I don't know how true it is but there was either warnings or um citations given for snow people not removing snow off their sidewalks I don't know how true it is um is that something you're going to start doing now and the second thing is my husband was home this week and the township truck came down our street three times within time frame of a day looking for we thought was potholes to two people in the truck back and forth all around we saw them all throughout the development of tfield why can't we call instead of having them run they run looking for tree branches up and down leaves why can't we do like other townships do where we call or you post trees are going to be picked up this weekend on these like zone areas so that we can start reducing the amount of gasoline you're using on these vehicles that we have and you know I'm I'm there's a lot of wasted gasoline and gas is expensive right now so if you did some kind of a hotline where people could call like we do with the appliances we have trees in front of our house we need picked up there's leaves in front of that so they're not riding up and down looking for Christmas trees or leaves or tree branches or whatever else potholes or whatever I call all the time when I see potholes especially on Orchard Road so I think that would be a benefit for our taxpayers with the gasoline prices thank you ma'am 46 over Road um I'm just looking for a followup from last month when it came to the EPA statement for the homeless shelter as well as some kind of agreement that the West anthon residents are not going to be held accountable financially for this shelter since we are not the only Township within bton County just because it's here we would like some you know clarification and some assurance that we're not going to be held responsible once the grants if they run out in that situation we did talk to her when she was here and she said that you know she would have some kind of agreement with you so I talked about that last meeting um I'm going to go back to this person who's going to be working from E Township each toip um what his job responsibility is going to be how we're going to help him accountable if he's making $75 an hour like I expect him to be working he's making more part-time than I do full-time so that's a little insane to me um also is he going to be accountable for social media I think the Westampton Township committee is very lacking on social media it is 2025 it kind of annoys me when you guys constantly say it was in the burington county times I don't even receive that paper and even if I did my 2-year-old would probably rip it up before I had time to to read it so I think it's time to get up at the times and be more present on social media that's how a lot of people get their information this town this um West s is becoming younger and younger I see it all the time time so that's how a lot of young people get their information I'm not saying just Do social media but I think you guys need to have more of a presence on social media for the younger Generations thank you thank you uh G 138 Winstead uh so couple of comments I'll try to be brief so on the Burlington County Times website right I think it's kind of clunky so I would like if you guys are are up for it maybe have the uh the clerks do a workshop maybe 10 minutes 15 minutes and give us their best practices on how they use the site number one quality control to make sure what they're publishing is really what's supposed to be published and number two how the heck we get the best usage from searching because it's basically four templates right you type in a keyword you put in the publication name from a pull down list you can do a start date and an end date if I just type in the word West Hampton I get mult multiple pages of results and I'm just looking you know theoretically for notices officially from the township that we're paying to be published so I'll admit I don't know how to use this website so I know the clerks know how to use it they've got this probably down to a science I'd love for them to show us exactly how they use it and how you know best practices for citizenry that want to make use of this okay that's up to you guys hopefully they're on board with doing that um I I'm sort of assuming they do quality control and they double check this how often do they do it would be helpful to kind of know you know what they see when they're they're doing their quality control checks on the Publications from from this and then also um the notice is because there is one here that I kind of take took a look at it had to do with u awarding the contracts for Professional Services and I guess this is because maybe I just don't understand this so it cites ordinances so for example and mayor with your Indulgence I'll just address Bob real quick so Bob it'll say ordinance is 21-2 20005 22-25 comma 23-25 24 26 right but here's the problem those ordinances are actually not codified in our code book The I think it's a bit of a problem I'm not sure if you know this is just an oversight or they have to be published this way because at one point they technically were published the problem is is that they've been recodified in the code book and the only way I knew that is because I had to go through the bill list so this actually has to do with the um article on ethics in the township so are we wetted to this sort of format for publishing these notices we can't modernize this at all to kind of correspond with making it easier for the public to understand exactly you know how we're awarding professional contracts in conjunction with the policy and code of our Township especially when it comes to the ethics so you know that's an observation I had around that thanks guys thank you thanks Nancy Berkeley I'll Street RAR cookus again um mayor at the last meeting you talked about trying to uh fill in the buffer on Third Street with trees and you had said one of the options that you had thought of is taking all the trees down to the ground and then filling in other trees and I spoke to some people in town and they were very much against it because the trees that we have are two or three stories high and taking them down and replacing them with 5 foot trees is not going to be much of a buffer to anybody they said plant the trees in between and at least keep the tall trees until those trees grow you're putting a 5-ft tree it's going to take 20 years before it really becomes a buffer did we say we were doing 5ft trees you said one of your options is to do this and you we never said the size of the tree right excuse me we never said the size of the tree okay if you want to pay for 300t trees I'd like to know where you're getting the money but yes that's true but you still to cut down trees would would be taking a lot I mean half the trees more than half the trees are already gone yeah I don't doesn't I mean that was I don't to be I mean this is the part where I don't right when we go back and forth but it doesn't we planned on having a meeting where everybody comes out and discuss it I don't think anyone has a preference at this meeting you wanted people to come so yeah no no no no we we we're going to put a schedule out when we wanted we can't putting trees up now it's freezing outside no you have to put it in the fall right we want to have a little bit more of a design of what the options are and then talk to the people the same way we talked to them out there when PS and was cutting trees out okay but I just wanted to get back to you yeah but I never I don't even that's why I asked that question to have it on the record because I never I didn't know I don't know I'm not even a tree I don't know what tree they would pick out like that would be up to Chris to try to find a tree that best suits it and the reason why I said that in the first place is because if he gets I know him and Bob Thor Bob Thorp have talked about a certain kind of tree but that tree won't match the trees that's already there so I didn't know if the people would if people would care about that if they don't care it doesn't matter it doesn't matter to me a lot of people don't want the trees that are there cut they should come out and talk about it right uh the other thing is you said that we could talk to you after the meeting to get our answers sure unfortunately there's a lot of people who tune in online to go to go to YouTube tomorrow the next day to listen to the meeting they're not going to hear you talking to us if after the meeting so that's why I'd like to have answers during the meeting even it's if it's at the end but that you give answers so that everyone in the town can can like I'll make notes and try to make sure I everybody stuff so if you could get back to me too about the 177,000 if that's a monthly charge for our new oh I'm going to address it right here okay thank you thank you sadden to hear about Jean Blair he definitely had a imp a huge impact on our town personally had a big impact on my life as well my prayers are with his family um there was some comments about or comments and questions about the Pio and the shared services I'd just like to back up a little bit West ston has a lot of shared servic a very lean leanly run agency excuse me municipality our Township we've shared services for the tax collector um shared services with our Clerk so we're saving money in those areas secondly the Pio a common theme in a lot of meetings recently have been lack of communication uh or social media presence all that so when I speak for myself but I think it was a great idea to have this Pio that would only work estimated four hours a month 5 hours a month so we can get those messages out what's happening in the township so you guys know and are aware um I I think I could say for everyone except uh Gary Barbara I don't make $74 an hour so no one in this room makes that um but it's again it's small what 5 hours so it's about $5,000 a year yeah it's it's so you guys wouldn't want to quit your job to take that job unless yeah that's not even part-time five hours a month right I'm sorry but I'll continue after you after you guys get done that's a I think U I'll look into the Mr Gary's comments about the L on I think that's pretty interesting I couldn't find a definition on that you looked it up yeah uh Nancy some of your comments about the trucks and employees I don't think that it's linear like that some trucks have different functions you know we have the leaf pickup truck we have dunk trucks we have trucks with trailers not back and forth eting there was a list of all the vehicles and it said D truck uh you know and it just had numbers pick trucks and there was 19 Chris 19 trucks the inventory you have two why do you have so many the vehicle reports in the last agenda the vehicle mileage usage I think that's oh the police department the fire department your department they had all the mileages in the um we we do have bonds but we we Resolute for the bonds and last last year we didn't use that money for trash cans we didn't use that and we also if you look at the budget we pay our bonds back every year so that's all I have Mr Mayor thank you thank you for everyone for coming good evening everyone thank you so much for coming out um grateful for your presence and appreciate you caring about West just like uh we do uh my report I have a few things that I'd just like to report on uh in addition to a few comments in terms of the recreation committee indoor soccer is going now we have about 320 kids participating in that um basketball just started and we have about 350 kids and that goes from to Juniors flag football will be starting soon um we're going to be discussing e egg hunt and um that's going to be coming up in April with Easter being in April um next meeting looking forward to getting people out uh to help us out um it will be February 12th p.m as far as Tim Buck 2 is concerned we're looking to do a movie date in conjunction with change Church looking at uh 68 and looking to do something like that in the month of March in terms of the Burlington uh Board of Commissioners Dr cwell and I have been very uh busy attending a lot of their meetings there was a January 15th meeting at 9:15 a.m. it was a zoom meeting um authorization to award a contract for the request for proposals RFP um with regard to the 2024 general election we attended that meeting uh January 22nd uh 7 p.m. attended that meeting a number of uh topics came up uh including uh the pimberton campus that was purchased the emergency shelter Etc um Dr cwell and I will also talk about the fact that uh we had an opportunity to meet one onone with um the commissioner um on the 27th um and she agreed to meet frequently with us Dr C would talk about um when she'll be visiting us again in March um and during that particular time we addressed a number of things uh the outstanding items from November um we talked to her about that and got some deliverables in terms of that um we talked about uh the communication and improving transparency as far as the uh shelter is concerned um we talked about the number of uh households uh within this particular County uh and the data that was used for the the shelter um and it was very important for her to talk to us and and in terms of what was going to go on she shared with us the fact that the groundbreaking we all attended was October 30th and that the shelter would be uh ready in 16 months from that particular date we talked about 24/7 security we talked about no cost to Westampton residents um we also talked about impact studies that were done uh surveying engineer impact study information and we requested all of that information and we requested the presence of those individuals to come so our residents can speak uh directly to them she also shared with us that the uh shelter would be basically outsourced because the county can't run the shelter and she talked to us about that uh having that be outsourced um Dr cwell will um uh provide some additional information in terms of our meeting so it was great and uh she agreed to continue to meet with us and uh share information and we're looking to for being able to share additional information and and she will be here in in March and Dr Carell will share that um she was very forthright um we had a nice long dialogue um the next meetings for uh Burlington will be um there's a meeting February 11th February 26th and March 12th at 700 p.m. and that's at 49 ran cookus Road also want to share that um I attended some training um Jersey state League of municipalities that was Saturday the 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in C caucus New Jersey was basically an orientation uh for uh Municipal officials that were newly elected reelected um or experience and it was like local government leadership uh training and that was great so um very happy to be able to participate in that um with regard to a number of you and forgive me for using your your first name names you know Gary Ashley nany um all of Ethan all of you guys uh for coming out um there's a lot of things that we're trying to do and I think as a team working together we can do that um we might not always see eye to eye uh with regard to how things are done um but we have West Hampton's best interest at heart we're all residents here we raised our families and uh you see me in the supermarket I see you around and we want the best for West and we want the best for our children and that's what's important I want to end by saying one team we're all here for the same purpose uh a better Westampton same team we all pay taxes here we all want to see our money go as far as it it possibly can go with good things for this particular Township we're dedicating our time we're dedicating our efforts and we appreciate you coming out for voicing your opinions and uh looking forward to working with each and every one of you to to get to a better W stamp thank you thank you it's always hard to go after Gil no um thank you guys for coming out um every time you come up and speak I get a better understanding of your point of view and hearing your insights truly does make us better because we go off and we say you know what we do need to take a look at that we I I didn't know that this was some an area of weakness for us how can we improve and then we we come back usually at a later date um with a suggestion for example um at the last meeting I suggested and asked for support which thank you everybody for supporting appointing myself and um committee woman madx canteen to be the liaison to Burlington County so that we can get that two-way street of communication so that we can bring information back to you guys and as you can see we're doing exactly that so with that being said uh we attend we both attended the last burlingon County Commissioners meeting and then on top of that had a one-on-one with Dr H um who was very easy to talk to uh knew exactly what uh was going on and was able to give us quick information it was a Q&A and she gave us all the answers that we needed what we're waiting for now is um I requested the follow-up documents from the November 12th meeting so what we're waiting on is the Bergen County comparative data the environmental impact study and once I get confirmation of the groundbreaking date I can give an estimate of when the shelter may be open it's 12 to 16 months from that but I would like to get that official date from her and her team um also asked her you know can you come back can it be regular and she said absolutely and so the next time she's planning on being here is March 25th and we can have the same type of dialogue that uh we had in the past after that she'll be here on a quarterly basis to do the same thing continue to give us updates so that we understand what's going on as it relates to West Hampton um I personally visited um the proposed shelter site myself um just to see what was going on and construction is underway um I encourage you all to take a look too um sometimes it's just getting out and you know trying to get information yourself too which is what I did um as far as the West Hampton Board of Education um we will be hosting the annual Black History Month essay contest again this year um essays are due by the 18th and we will be celebrating our Young Learners um on February 25th uh the next meeting for the board of education is Monday at 7 um and thank you to the committee for appointing us as liaison for brington County I think it's really going to help that's all I have so a few things one you know they talk about will people talk about um you know moments bless you bless you people talk about moments right like unanticipated moments so I will share that I'm not great with time maybe six months ago I got to see Jean uh Blair at L's and we got we had an opportunity to talk for about a half an hour about you know just different things but not knowing that that's the last time I'm going to see him right um and when I first heard about his pass and that's the first thing I thought about like our last conversation and it was a good conversation we able to to clear the air on a few different things and few different opinions right and and still be be able to say I mean I sat up here with Jean for for two three years right he's a construction Guy and um our construction official and he was able to give some pretty good advice he always attended meetings he was really he was good at that and a matter of fact that's one of the things we talked about too um and I think that you see that now like Ray attended more meetings because you know one of the things that Jean said was I attended all the meetings and we need to have the construction official attend the meetings um he you know he handed out some really great advice and I'm thankful for for getting to the opportunity to know him and I'm thankful that he worked in our town right we've had some people who've worked in our town and um who who really care about the town and I think that that is what creates success um I'm going try to answer some of these questions blame it on my head well blame it on my hand not my heart cuz some of but I can't read my writing but um the liaison I think that's just really consistent what we've used like we used committee liaison like reports now like when we're talking about the liaison for the rec department liaison for the police I think it was really just about keeping that language consistent more or less than the definition of it um but as you know Deputy Mayor deputy mayor uh car said that you know we can take a look at it and see if there's any changes I think that we always take you guys' suggestions under uh under serious review um for Best Practices purposes I mean I I went to the commissioner's meeting but I'm a private citizen and I did have some questions but I don't have Authority for the township so you know in some sense it may not be appropriate necessarily for me to you know make a comment or a statement at the commissioner meeting it might interfere with you know some official motion of the Township in front of that body so um I I'm more looking for not necessarily script you dictionary definition of the term but more best practices how do you want the citizen to read you engage so for example I have some ideas about what I think we could be doing interacting with that body do I bring it to the liaison and have yes that's what I would do okay yes I would bring it to the liazon and have the Liaisons have a conversation and I could tell you and I'm sorry Gary not to interrupt but I was literally walking out of the gym and Dr Hopson was walking in and the first thing she said was she's like oh I'm supposed to come see you guys next month so when they said it's something that she's excited about as far as getting to know our community and making sure we're making the right choices so um that I can tell you as well um CFO appropriately the CFO won't do $7,000 a month7 $1,000 a month but the CFO team had some things that they had to put in play um like we didn't have a cloud for our system right putting the cloud in play to kind of protect see that look that's why we're not CFO right but um doing that a lot of the things that we've did in the past were paper converting that from paper and putting it into Edmond um and that took some time and I think that once so the the idea is is that we didn't hire CFO we hired a company and so there's several people that come in here I heard that you had a conversation with with Danielle right like and so what they're doing is bringing us up to code to make sure that we're more efficient so when we hire a CFO going forward whoever that would be that they can come in hit the ground running with everything being up too par as far as like as like you would say right like not where everything is I'm I'm trying to figure out how to best say this without doing any damage to anyone else right like just making sure that everything is up to par when we hire somebody that they can easily come in and continue best practices and so that is what they're doing that's why it was that much that month it's their first month here so they're and they're working diligently to get us back up and running um not just because she's here right we talked to somebody said something about the clerk I mean we had an opportunity right like we went and just tried to get the best people we possibly could right like if we're I mean listen this eagles's weak right so let's talk like that fairly right like we went back went out and got like the best free agents we possibly could get to run your town right um we got people who have been in their positions for quite some time and no one can argue I mean the clerk that we have For Heaven's Sake she teaches the clerk classes I hope you don't mind me saying that so we can have the best clerk that we can have right the the CFO the company that we hired has been recommended by several people including the person who teaches the clerk class right um and the person who teaches the clerk class she wouldn't even come here and I hope you don't mind me saying is she's only here because Jim is here and Jim worked with her before right so we feel like we got the best people to work in this town right and we're proud of that we're proud of it I walk in listen I don't know who's been I know you've been in the building recently but who's been in the building recently the building is if I may use your example Craig Craig explained gave me an example of him coming up the stairs and there were four people in the front office laughing enjoying them enjoying being at work right um and that's something that we strived to get back to and we have so I'm excited about what we have going on here very excited now when we talk about the pi this is the irony of the Pio is right and no disrespect to you Nancy but Nancy puts out that we were going to pay some1 154,00 right we we when have we done that so the P was to get out correct information because that's what 50 comments on information is not correct okay I said that if this person was fulltime which they are not it would be comparable to some that money fair enough but people don't read like that right if you look at the comments people are like oh my goodness I could take that job I could I could get paid this I could but the guy's getting paid five hours a week right five hours a month and the T needs it it's $55,000 a year for him to get the correct information out so the residents know the correct information cuz the wrong information doesn't help anyone it just makes people do more work and I understand it's not picking on you I understand what you're trying to do well maybe a little but so so what I'm saying is that that person has done the same thing for Eve sham they have a history of doing their job correctly we all can put our names in the Hat but there's qualifications that this person has done right to uplift the town with XYZ amount of people and he's going to come here for 5 hours a month to do the same thing and if it doesn't work then we end it but we got to give it an opportunity to see if it works to see if we can get more information out right actually like about actually we don't have a so right they're going to put out the information and we always give you guys information in our final comments always they they going to right utilize the websites utilize everything to make sure that we're getting information out to that you guys said that we you didn't know anything about the the shelter right the e Shelter by getting this information out to people they're going to get their information from the from the administration that's here why I don't work here like that but so what I'm saying is is that about person then the and it seems to me that could transparency earlier about this and then not questions problem and that's why we hired the person but you need another that we do and in fact I'm going to answer some more your questions about some of the questions about the people who work here right we don't have three administrators we have an administrator a Deputy Administrator and a clerk who's doing the media now doing theb now it's sure among shared amongst it Craig is doing it the fire just shared amongst a bunch of people right like we're not throwing away 5,000 I don't want to give you that impression but no you come on now you know better than that yeah you're good you're good I don't I'm just just I'm just saying like from our position from people who are up here I don't like to throw around numbers getting 4200 bucks a year like we set up the movie night uh the the person the one of the people from the the 6 Triple 8 the daughter was coming up to speak so we had to move it Craig did the did the flyer like these are things that are happening every single day they're meeting with the County Commissioners you know everybody's doing something every single day to do the best they possibly can we're not fly doing anything like we're trying to do the best that we possibly can for everyone and it's not easy because you're not going to please everyone but there's no time that no one up here has never I respond to everyone like hate whatever as long as it's respectful oh yeah fair enough like there could be there's emails there's different things like and we've sh a way to cut cost like if it's something that the police are doing the police could take pictures and send it to him and then he'll disseminate and get it out right versus the police doing it like they could be out giving tickets to people who don't shovel no I'm joking but but you know that's you know this is just the way we're try to make it more efficient but also the three customer service people again not accurate we got two customer service people in the front and we got one person who works as a tax collector when a shared service ta Tax Collectors isn't there and you may say well why are you doing that well the reason is is because the person is taking classes to be a tax collector we think that she might want to spend more time with the tax collector right so she's not upfront we have two people up front two people like we had before in made moves to to basically help educate this person So eventually maybe she could take over that role maybe not but at least we'll know so those are the things that we've done there's not a bunch of people doing a bunch of different things and you know let me make sure I have nothing else oh presentation budget we we did but Chris didn't you do a present budget we did it right here in this big room with all eight people that were here you didn't like the leaf truck police the fire and Chris right but that's part of her budget who else would you like to ask for the meeting that presentation budget sh did the presentation and Shad did a pres Shad did a presentation as well now you cannot like the presentation you can say people big little but but but what I'm saying is you can not like the presentation you could think that people could have done better those are all all things that we can say right but there was there's been a presentation every year here on that screen right now okay but you name two people I'm just giving you I'm just Nancy this is just what I'm saying like we want to make sure that we're giving out accurate information to the people who work here and what they're doing and what they're trying to do it's tough to work right and and then you got you let let me say this and I'm and I'm gonna go because we got something to do this is where I get but like do you work like you work somewhere right everyone here has a job do you ever work somewhere and go on a website and see your name on the website of of a job that people think that you're not doing even if you are doing it you know how hard it is to get people to work for a town when those things happen you know how hard it is to get somebody to sign their name on a doted line to come work at the town because everybody's on that site everybody sees it everybody in the county looks at that site and and a lot of people when it's time to get people to come here to work it's not easy or when it's time to get people to come up here and get elected it's not easy everybody reads it and they don't nobody wants to put a lot of people don't want to put their name in the Hat because they know that things can be critical for them I'm just listen I'm just telling you from somebody who's lived here 22 23 years and did a lot for this town I'm sorry yeah yeah that's okay I don't I'm talking not just about you Nancy I'm talking about everyone like it makes it hard if you work at a job and just imagine at your job if people posted stuff and talked about you it's tough listen I don't I haven't seen it but right my should is not I'm you know I'm a punk so those are just things that I would that I would say to be careful of it doesn't help it doesn't help our town to get the best people to grow all the time it doesn't that's why we hired the P huh oh you know what else we're working on we're working on can I say this we're working on sending out magnets to every resident to show a calendar when everything is due everything is out everything everything that you could possibly read this is something else we've been working on and sending out Craig's working on it I'm sending to a person that that works on it and and gives us a price and and get this out to every resident so that they can know when the trash is coming when the leades are being picked up all these it's not that's what I'm saying like we're everyone here is working very very hard so just give us a chance ma'am I'm going to talk to you when this is over because I got three other people up here and they think they can beat me huh that when taxes what calendar are you talking about Nancy again bad information there's no calendar a magnet versus a calendar people stick a little magnet up there I was going to put my picture on there give you something to look at uh so with that being said we will now uh resolution number 3525 resolution authorizing the township committee and supportive staff meeting private session authorizing exclusion of the public from this portion of the meeting dealing with specific requiring we don't have to do this I motion is the J what all in favor all I'll be
